2 months had passed, and everyday, Evelynn had woken up to a fretting Regina, yelling at anyone who dared to be within her sight.
And today was no exception.
"Evelynn! Help Henry get ready, please!" Regina yelled.
"Yes, miss!" came Evelynn's automatic reply.
"Thank you! And Henry, finish your breakfast!!" Regina hollered, moving around pointlessly. Evelynn legitimately wondered where in the known universe Regina got all her energy from.
"Mom, I'm not hungry!" Henry as Evelynn laughed and walked over to him.
"Come on, buddy, you need your strength for school. Or you're gonna fall asleep in class. Not saying it's not a good idea, but you're gonna fail if you do." Evelynn said, ruffling his hair.
Henry groaned and continued picking at his food. Evelynn cracked a not-so-funny joke about diarrhea and suddenly, Henry seemed eager to finish his pancakes.
"Evelynn! Could I have a word, please?" Regina called, finally lowering her voice but looking furious. Evelynn furrowed her eyebrows, excused herself and stalked over.
"Yes, miss?" Evelynn asked innocently. Her voice immediately seemed to calm Regina down a bit, but she still looked angry.
"Don't you 'yes, miss ' me, I know you've stolen my crown." Regina said, her voice low, so Henry didn't hear. To her not-so-much surprise, Evelynn's sweet smile turned into a maniacal smirk.
"Caught on, have you? Took you long enough." Evelynn said, cocking her eyebrow.
"I took it back. Now, in a few minutes, no trace of you must be here, in this house." Regina said, her voice sounding dangerous, but Evelynn stood her ground.
"Oh, Regina... I take something, I give it back as soon as its job is done, so really, there's no need to fret." Evelynn said silkily.
"Who said I gave you permission to touch my crown?" Regina snarled.
"Who said I even need permission? I want it, I take it. And there's no stopping me." Evelynn retorted.
"Let's see how you even look at that crown. I'm kicking you out." Regina said, with a victorious smirk.
"Let's see how that stops me." Evelynn said, walking past her and picking up her backpack.
"Goodbye, Regina Mills." Evelynn stopped before heading out the door.
"What just happened?" Henry asked as Evelynn slammed the door shut.
"Nothing. She won't be coming back." Regina said curtly.
"Why?" Henry asked again, this time voice muffled with food.
"It doesn't concern you, Henry. Finish eating and go to school." Regina snapped as she got ready for work. Henry frowned and went back to his breakfast, feeling lonelier than ever.

Evelynn was tired of roaming around Storybrooke, carefully avoiding the mayor's office and Henry's school. She started heading towards the outskirts of the town, as the sun sank into the earth behind her. She stopped under an abandoned building, sat down and started crying.
The only means of revenge had been snatched away from her. To her, torture was the payback she needed to give them. The Death Eaters had viewed as a pawn, and she would change that and show them the reality.
But how? The only means of her torturing them and not getting locked up in Azkaban and gone.
What she needed was a little more time.
Time.
Evelynn smirked as she Disapparated from Storybrooke.

Evelynn sneaked into the Time room and stole a Time-Turner from the shelves. She glanced at her watch.
12:30 A.M.
She had some time.
"Muffliato " She muttered under her breath as she sat down and pulled out her volume of Different Realms And How To Get There.
"Come on, where is it? Aha!" Evelynn smiled as she found the chapter she was looking for - Using Time-Turners To Go Back More Than Hours.
An insane smirk found its way to her lips.
Oh, she was getting that crown all right.
She didn't care how far she had to go.

The spell was successful.
She clasped the Time-Turner to her chest, with a relieved expression, and wore it around her neck.
She turned the hourglass over a few times with a devilish smirk.
She was going to get that crown no matter what.
But, little did she know, there was an entity watching her every move.
An entity she wished to see as soon as she knew about it.
The Shadow.
