Round One, Day Five
"Lilacpaw! I caught this squirrel for you! I figured since we already caught enough prey for the Clan, we can treat ourselves to something, right?" A cat asked innocently.
The apprentice smiled. "Aw, thank you! I'll eat it right now!" The squirrel laid at her paws, and without hesitation, the she-cat gulped it down. Suddenly, her eyes grew wide and she tried saying something, but her throat was closed up.
The other cat smiled. "I'm so sorry we had to do this to you..." they said softly, turning around and racing away, meeting up with the second cat a couple of trees down.
"That must have been hard for you," the cat said, their eyes sparkling.
"It was. At least I didn't stay and watch her die. She didn't deserve that." The two cats locked eyes and laughed.
"You'll be fine. Once all the cats are killed, we get to become leaders and start our own Clan! Think of it like that." The cat tilted their head and smirked subtly.
"You're right. We should get back before cats notice we're missing. Any evidence could be used against ya at this point."

"Emberstar? You might want to see this." Ravenwhisper's head poked inside the leader's den, his yellow eyes seeming dimmer than before.
The she-cat nodded her head and stepped out, not surprised by what she saw. There, in the clearing, lay the body of Lilacpaw.
"She didn't deserve to die..." the leader murmered softly.
"I know," quipped the small voice of Lichenkit from next to her. "She was my best friend! Now who am I supposed to play miss all with?" The small kit asked.
Ravenwhisper brushed his tail in front of the kit and pulled him back, away from the she-cat's corpse.
"Go and play with Lillystream or Pansypaw. I'm sure they would like to play with you." He said sweetly and turned him away and toward the two cats mentioned.
"We have to figure out who's doing this. I can't lose the rest of my Clan." Emberstar's voice cracked as she spoke, but she had authority in her voice.
"Let's do it. I'm ready and waiting." The tom replies from next to her. "At least we have new kits coming soon." He added after a moment of silence. He was right; Lillystream was expecting lots and so was she. It would make for a good generation of cats. She hoped.
