13. Signe's Betrayal
Jack tried his best to put away the letters without Anti seeing him.
He saw Anti's hand stopping him.
"What the fuck did you think I meant by read them?! Put them away?!" Anti shouted.
Jack sighed and picked up the letters.
One letter caught his eye.
He picked it up, and it seemed to be a letter to just Signe herself.
"Why is a letter to herself in this pile?" Jack asked.
"Read it!! You never know what it says." Anti smirked.
Jack took a look at the letter, and his eyes widened.
The letter had these words:
Sometimes I wish I could just go back in time, and make sure I never met Jack. It seems bad I know, but still, this affair I had....I don't think Jack could ever forgive me for that! It's almost like I'm making my own version of The Reynolds Pamphlet that Alexander Hamilton wrote!
I don't deserve him....at all.....I would break Jack's heart.....and when I die, if he found out, I think that he just wouldn't care at all...he'd be..happy to see me dead..... .
Tears filled Jack's eyes as the letter slipped out of his hands.
Jack was filled with both despair and rage.
His girlfriend....betrayed him.
"She....had an affair??? And...she.."
Anti smiled like a lunatic. "What's wrong?" He said, in a teasing voice.
"I now think the breakup was for the best.....she....BETRAYED ME!!!!!!!!" Jack screamed. "I don't deserve the letters she wrote me...."
"So you have to get rid of them....but how?" Anti asked.
Anti was actually right. How was Jack going to destroy the letters?
