~Chapter 5~Peace~

Later That Day, Lucy's Pov,

Larcade and I ended up talking until I had the strength to move out of the bed I was in. Once I up I was exploring the town that we was no in. I still didn't know the name but it was very peaceful here. The people were all smiling and talking to each other. Some where helping others as kids were playing tag around the streets. There was nature everywhere as even some of the people offered any help I would need. I was shocked they would help me right off the bat. I did deny the offer but thanked them.

I couldn't help put pulled out the photo that Happy sent me. I forgot to send a letter to him yesterday with me passing out. He would most likely be worried. I couldn't help but smile at the picture (In Media). I soon saw Aquarius's key on my belt as I wasn't giving up. I had to find her. No matter how long it took, I would see her again. I had a chance to get one of my loved ones back. I was taking it. I ended up at a lake just outside of the town. It was so clear you could very clearly see the fish swimming around.

You could see some flowers floating above the water as I couldn't help but smile at it. I knew I had to move past what happened. I had to find a way to let my heart get over this. I would never forget Natsu or the others. Wendy, Gajeel, Sting or Rogue. I would never forget any of them. I would never forget but I had to move on. Like Brandish always told me. 'Natsu would not want you to waste your life crying'. He wouldn't. He would want me to move onto the next adventure. That adventure was to find Aquarius.

I looked at the picture one more time smiling. "I promise, to never forget any of you" I whispered before putting it away. I know it had been a year. I should of moved on sooner. With how many people I lost. I did gain others. Death came to all of us at some point. Some are earlier than others. "Death is never a true end" I heard Dimaria's voice as I turned my head to see her leaning on a tree. I was wondering how long she was standing there. "In my books after death you get reborn or put in another world" she then explained.

Her eyes were staring toward the lake as I started thinking. "Another world or reborn?" I whispered asking as I never thought of that much. The pain always took over my mind. "Brandish cares about you and explained how much you have lost and how you can't stand losing anymore to where you can't move on now" Dimaria spoke as she was now looking toward me. Brandish was right and like normal knew me more than I knew myself. I rubbed the back of my head nodding slightly.

"The pain of losing someone is to push you forward, to make you a stronger person" Dimaria spoke as she stopped leaning on the tree and walked toward me. I looked at her a little shocked. "I had lost people and thought I had lost Brandish in the mix but you brought her back to me" Dimaria spoke as you could see in her eyes how much she cared for Brandish. I was glad that Brandish had Dimaria as a friend. Maybe back in the war it wasn't that well. I thought very differently back then but now.

Now I could see why Brandish trusted and thought of them as a family. Now that I knew the real them a little. "She also asked if me or Larcade knew anything about the Zodiac Key Aquarius" Dimaria spoke as I looked at her. I was hoping to hell they knew something. Brandish and I were out of leads. Once again. "Larcade has an idea on where it could be but he wants me and him to tag along. Fine with that?" Dimaria asked as I could tell she was trying to figure out if she could trust me or not.

I understood why she would do so. I was once one of the people who nearly killed her and her friends. "As long as Brandish is fine with it so am I. I trust her" I answered as Dimaria smirked putting her arm over my shoulders pulling me closer to her. "Ya know we are gonna get along Lucy. Us hot blondes gotta stick together" Dimaria spoke making me laugh slightly as Brandish and Larcade were walking over. Brandish was holding my backpack. "I honestly thought you would of killed Lucy by now" Brandish spoke as Dimaria laughed.

I sighed slightly as Brandish walked over passing me my backpack. "Ready to keep moving?" Brandish asked as I nodded. Dimaria smirked more as Larcade stayed where he was. "Road trip" Dimaria nearly shouted before moving her arm off me and jumped next to Brandish, hugging her arm. I put on my backpack as I couldn't help but smile at Brandish and Dimaria. Brandish was shouting for Dimaria to let her go as she was struggling to get free while Dimaria had a very tight grip around Brandish's arm.

Maybe this was what I needed. Being in a group of friends again. Maybe now I could find peace. Just maybe my heart will finally move on. "Come on you just asked if I was ready to move. So lets get moving" I spoke as Brandish sighed as I could tell she was acting. I could see in her eyes how happy she really was having Dimaria next to her. The two girls looked toward Larcade who was smiling. "So where we heading anyways?" Dimaria asked as Larcade turned his heading pointing. We all followed his finger.

It was pointing to a set of three mountains. "And this is gonna take forever" I sighed rubbing the back of my neck. "We better start walking plus I could throw you up the mountain" Dimaria replied as she walked ahead, dragging Brandish with her as she still had a grip on her arm. I shook my head slightly as Larcade and I followed us both ending up walking side by side. "They normally like that?" I soon asked as my eyes looked at Larcade. I wouldn't lie he wasn't bad looking at all.

"At times but once Dimaria cools down she will just be protective and call Brandish by some nickname" Larcade answered as I nodded looking toward the two girls in front of us. I couldn't help but smile slightly. Brandish had been an amazing friend to me this past year. She was by my side but I knew she missed certain people. Dimaria was one of them. Most likely the one she missed most. I was glad to see her smile every so often at Dimaria instead of her worrying face as she tried to stop me crying.

Natsu...

If Dimaria was right...

If you were in some other world watching...

I missed you.

I missed you like no other.

I promised I would never forget you and I intended to keep it.

Thank you Natsu.

Thank you for everything.
