Lucy's Pov, 

It had been just over a year now. A year since Zeref was taken down. A year since I lost... Since I lost my best friend. A month after it all happened Erza was named the new Fairy Tail Master and I-I left Fairy Tail. Everyone was slowly healing but I.... I couldn't. Every time I went into the guild I just kept waiting for Natsu to burst into a fight with Gray or try and take me on a job. Erza understood that I needed time away from magnolia. Away from the guild. She took away my mark and told me I could always return.

That Fairy Tail will always be open to me. That night I packed only some small things, I took Michelle and a picture of my family with me and some clothes. I sold everyone else I really had and got the jewels I had saved up for rent and to move. That night as I left Brandish found me and kinda just announced she was going with me. I found out she wanted to do her mothers wish in us being good friends. I agreed in her coming along. Happy found me and Brandish at the train station.

He was crying his eyes out begging me not to leave the guild. Happy wanted to keep me safe for Natsu but he couldn't leave the guild behind. The guild was his last family. I soon made a deal with Happy to write to him everyday and if I needed help that he would know. He waved me and Brandish off as well me and her set off to find Aquarius. Well been a year on the spot since I left the guild. Brandish and I still had no luck in finding Aquarius's key. The worse of all it was Christmas in just some days.

I was in the mine and Brandish's room checking I had everything. We was about to set out to the forbidden forest. People called it that as no one has gone in there and returned. They say the forests temple is guarded by an angry water spirit. I heard spirit and water and my mind went to Aquarius. When I heard angry well I had a strong feeling we could find her there. Sometimes powerful keys were guarded by something related to them. Normally that was the element keys. They was even more powerful than the Celestail King.

I got up walking over to the side where Happy's letter was. He got Mira to write them out for him. This letter I wasn't sure how to feel or reply. Happy had sent a small picture of me, him and Natsu when we first started our team. I still wasn't over what happened to Natsu. I would end up crying at lest once a day. I looked at the picture smiling at the memory of how I meet Natsu. I was such an idiot back then. A bigger idiot than Natsu. "Lucy, I just checked us out" Brandish spoke behind me as I picked up the picture.

I nodded as my eyes watered slightly. I didn't know how to react to much anymore. The only thing telling me to push forward and try and live my life is finding Aquarius. "Time will heal you soon Lucy" Brandish spoke as I put the picture down and looked at her. "I don't think it will this time, I have lost to much already" I answered with my honest thoughts. My mother, Eclair, Michelle, Aquarius and now Natsu. So many people I cared for had left me. All their deaths from magic. This made me think if Eclair was right.

If all magic was someway evil. Brandish saw my watering eyes as she pulled me into a hug. I hugged back smiling slightly as some tears escaped, slowly going down my face. I was glad that me and Brandish were now friend. I soon pulled away smiling. "I think it is time for a change" I spoke as Brandish looked confused. I smirked as I the picture heading toward my backpack, placing the picture with the one I had of me with my parents. "You will see" I soon laughed slightly. Brandish was confused still but nodded.

That morning we headed into the town we was in and I changed up my looks. 

I needed to have something fresh. I liked my new short hair as I then was wearing a black top with no sleeves with white shorts and black leggings under the shorts. I kept my brown belt and got new brown boots that came up under my knees. To finish my new look I had Aquarius's broken key made into a necklace. I vowed from then on to never take it off. Not until I found her new key. Brandish seemed to like the idea of me having a fresh new look. We soon headed out toward the forbidden forest. 

"Lucy" Brandish soon called out. "Yeah?" I looked at her as I could tell she had something on her mind. "Zeref might of been defeated some years ago but some of his followers are still out there even some of the Spriggans are out there" Brandish had a worried look in her eye. She was one of Zeref's 12 Spriggans but when she found out the truth about what happened between our mothers she and I choice to be friends and work together to move our world into a path of peace. I could understand she was worried about seeing another Spriggan.

"Don't worry we got each others backs after all and with my new magic with the spirits we will kick anyone's ass" I then replied as Brandish looked at me. I gave her a smile and thumbs up as she just smiled at me. After a four hour walk we was finally there. The Forbidden Forest. 

"We are coming Aquarius" I muttered to myself hoping she was watching over me and Brandish listening in.
