Starts after riddhima reveals about her pregnancy to vansh

Lets start:

Hugging her knees to her chest, riddhima rai singhania sat near the window, staring at the dark moon with misted orbs as her fingers continued to dial her husband's number, who had vanished out of her sight the very next moment she had revealed the much awaited joyous news of them going to be parents

She had been over the moon since the moment she had comes face to face with the beautiful reality that a soul was breathing inside her....her very own blood....her family....which she had always desired of

She had to momentarily stop herself from breaking the news to vansh owing to the tension at home but the moment she did, she had expected him to embrace her in a tight warm hug, kissing her forehead over and over again, expressing how happy he was to hear the news

But could she ever get anything easily???

What she hadn't expected was to see his face turn pale as a ghost as the next moment he drove out of her sight leaving her all alone and in tears.....

Why does it had to happen with her all the damn time???

Why every damn time her happiness gets shadowed by darkness????

JUST WHY?????

Digging her face in her knees, she allowed her tears to fall freely down her cheeks when she felt a soft hand caressing her hair.....

Startled she looked up to see her husband standing right beside her looking at her worriedly

The pungent smell and his red eyes a clear indication of how drunk he was........

"Sweethearttttt...."

He sang in a drunken voice, loosing his balance as riddhima immediately stood up to  support him, preventing him from falling down and injuring himself and she helped him walk towards the bed....

Sitting on the bed with a thud, he tilted his head as he stared at her covered belly with innocent eyes before lifting her shirt up and hiding his face inside it, nuzzling his nose onto her belly

"Oh hello...."

He whispered, against her skin, making her feel ticklish

"We have an intruder here....."

He whispered in a hushed voice, almost as if being careful to not let the intruder hear him, as riddhima moved his head out of her shirt while simultaneously caressing his hair like he was a little baby

"You're gonna take her from me...aren't you??

He pointed his finger towards her belly, almost as if accusing the baby of stealing his most precious possession- his sweetheart

"Vansh..."

"You'll see....you'll choose him over me...."

He stated in a choked voice as a lone tear trickled down his black orbs

"I would be left all alone....once again...."

His voice barely audible to her courtesy the lumb formed in his throat.......

"Nobody is choosing anybody....."

She cooed him as she brushed his tears away using her fingers

"And he might be a she...."

Riddhima stated out the obvious making his orbs shine brightly for a nano second which immediately got masked with an uncontrollable fear, the one that made vansh rai singhania's heart drop.....

"My baby....no.....i cant let them harm my baby....."

He almost screamed as his breath heaved erratically

"Vansh.....shhh....relax.....

No one's gonna hurt our baby.....

You are here na....

To protect us......"

Riddhima tried reassuring him, as she planted a soft kiss at his forehead.....

"No...my child cannot come in this world....they'll kill him/her....afterall sins of father are paid by his children....."

He screamed as he wound his hands around her waist while digging her face in her belly as if protecting his child from all the worldly terrors.....

"No one can harm our baby vansh...you and i...we both will stand as a shield infront of them...protecting them from all dangers...."

"Promise????"

He questioned like a baby...making riddhima's lips curl up into a smile

"Promise......"

And in that moment, vansh rai singhania kissed his baby, for the first time...with all the love he had in his heart.........
