21| Burn 'Em

"We should go, what do you say?" Taehyung's way of dealing with people clearly suggested that he was an amazing dad. I'm quite proud of my decision of calling Taehyung here. When I nodded in approval, he proceeded with rotating the doorknob and exposing us to the bright lights outside the confining cubicle. "You know what? With you, I got to see women's room for the first time and damn, it's so clean and smells pleasant too."

I giggled in response, standing next to him while washing hands. He looked up at our reflections in the mirror ahead of us and froze. Before he could get lost in the wild run of his uncertain thoughts, the door hastily parted again. An elderly woman stopped at the sight of Taehyung and spoke after grimacing. "Young couples nowadays..."

Taehyung calmly apologized for her offensive comment. I, on the other hand, kept shooting daggers through my gaze in her direction but she didn't bother feeling sorry so I let my thoughts out. "Old assholes nowadays—" Taehyung placed his hand on my mouth to completely shut me and dragged me out to the hallways. "What the hell, Tae?"

"You can't go around cursing people here. She is the wife of the organizer of these awards!" He explained in whispers to avoid getting heard. I bit my lower lip instantly on realising that I almost cut down his chances of winning to zero.

My eyes caught a highly beautiful yet equally hated sight from over Taehyung's shoulder. "Quickly, 180 degrees behind you, that's Jin." I could have given him the exact coordinates of Jin's position if only I knew how to math.

"Uh, o-okay." Taehyung nodded like a dummy and physically stuttered before taking a bend. He turned back to face me quicker than before with a panic-stricken face. "Is this your Jin?" He emphasised on the word 'this' and I bobbed my head confusedly. "Then I might have something upsetting to tell you later... As for now, lemme deal with him."

"Taehyung-ssi? What are you doing here, with her?" Jin could recognize him and the lone fact made me more curious about the upsetting thing the former had kept to himself. "Are you apparently... her new husband?"

"I would rather call myself the only husband she has ever had, Seokjin-ssi." He took a step closer to the self-declared worldwide handsome man. My brain cells squeaked at the thought of having someone to fight Jin for me.

"Oh, she's definitely hiding the whole first marriage thing from you then. I could've given you a proof if I didn't delete her pictures from my phone after she broke my heart." Jin looked directly in my eyes while victimizing himself and I scoffed.

"Well, in that case, I win because I do have proof." Taehyung fished for his phone in his pockets and dialled a number. Standing behind him, I could see he face-timed someone. "Would you like to meet the practical copy of our love, Taehee?" The latter, whom I accepted as my daughter answered the call. "Taehee-ah, meet this fine man."

He purposely turned the screen towards Jin who was bewildered from the beginning to the end. "Who's he, dada?" Taehee unenthusiastically asked while Jin awkwardly waved at the screen.

I wonder if Taehyung even has planned this out or he is just doing the first thing that's coming to his head.

"Someone you don't need to know." Taehyung glanced at Jin with a 'sorry-not-sorry' smile engraved on his face. "By the way, Taehee, do you mind describing your parents to Mr Seokjin."

Jin wasn't camera conscious but he evidently flinched when he had to face the kid again. "Of course, dada!" She started to take interest in the conversation while I was as unprepared and unaware as my ex-husband. "My parents are very kinky and they were making a sibling for me last night. If they made many siblings then we'll have our own little army."

"Okay, that's too much information. We'll be back soon, bye~, baby." He faked feeling exposed before hanging the call. I finally got the idea of his well-planned act to make Jin jealous. "Ha! I feel embarrassed but you know kids, they don't hesitate before saying the truth. Anyways, the show started long back, you should get going." He patted Jin's shoulder. The latter excused himself from the awkward situation and cringed on his way back to the main hall.

Before Taehyung and I could exchange wise words after the success of his plan, we got interrupted by someone who didn't look short just because he stood in a distance but because he was actually short. "Kinky..? That's impressive, Mr Kim Taehyung."

Taehyung sighed with his back facing the new character who had been an uninvited audience to our private conversation with Jin for God knows how long. "What a coincidence, we get to meet two human forms of headaches back-to-back." He murmured underneath his breath.

"Just so you know, I'm not deaf but I'll ignore your remark for this woman beside you." He moistened his lower lip with a single swipe of his tongue. His unusual hair colour stood out the most for me, a dark hue of blue that bled into black but still shone as the shade of dusk itself. "Your wife looks prettier." He tried taking a step towards me but Taehyung practically stood between us like a human barrier.

His features were seemingly familiar but the memory was faint enough to not bother me much.

"Park Jimin-ah, get yourself a wife who'll control your hormones. Do girls still reject you for your freakishly unusual size?" Taehyung laughed at his joke while the subject of his joke felt offended. His eyes almost burned holes on my body when I chuckled along with Taehyung. "The best part of having a wife is, you get to check her out without fearing that her husband will dislocate your nose." He said that as a heads-up after seeing Jimin's glares on me.

Jimin too got the hints very well but he just smirked. "Being unmarried has its own benefits too, Mr Kim. You live without the fear of losing your wife to someone else." He moved his index finger to the rhythm of his words.

"I won't ask you to share your experience with us," Taehyung said with the calmest facial expression which made Jimin's boyish grin double in area. "We'll leave you alone to sort your lewd fantasies but..." He moved forward to grab Jimin's collars and whisper important affairs in his ear. "...keep my wife out of it. Get my words inside your head." He let go of his collars and brushed the fabric to remove the crease formed.

"Good to see that you're possessive for her," Jimin commented while Taehyung, much unlike his usual good boy self, didn't bow before leaving Jimin behind.

I too met his steps like a trained puppy who follows its owner everywhere until small fingers wrapped around my wrist and pulled me in their direction.

It was Jimin...

His touch was ice cold as though he just came out of a refrigerator, but still, his breath felt so warm against my sensitive skin. "Tonight, room next to room number 69." His tongue slightly swirled around my earlobe.

A weird feeling climbed up on me and stopped me from picking a fight with Jimin. When he let go of my wrist, I ran to Taehyung with no intentions of talking about it again.

It was hard to halt my thoughts related to that act but my sudden silence would have raised his suspicion. "Taehyung, what was that upsetting fact about Jin?"

"Not right now, please." He hesitantly moved in his seat and I observed his every action. They certainly worked their way to fuel my curiosity. A waiter approached us with some alcoholic beverages. "Drinks?" Taehyung asked me while lifting a glass.

Alcohol and low alcoholic tolerance never went right together but I always liked to risk it. When I nodded, he picked another glass for me.

The glasses doubled and tripled and quadrupled for us individually. I had reached my limit and swung like a pendulum between passing out and staying conscious.

"Who's un-drunk enough to drive us home?" Taehyung was concerned about the whole situation while I focused on the only thing that kept me awake, Min Yoongi.

"Oh, bite me!" I replied an octave louder. Suddenly, my topic of interest stood up and turned towards the exit. "Min Yoongi, ask him for a lift! Look, he's leaving too!"

"As if he would. Let's stay here till either one of us sober up." He suggested while holding my hand to stop me from asking Yoongi for a favour with a pinch of truck-loads of alcohol.

"I'm done for the morning so if they allow us then... Let's check-in here." I rested my head on his shoulder and shut my eyes. I felt his hand patting my head which made me smile faintly.

"They don't have rooms here." He rested his head against mine while playing with the loose strands of my hair around his fingers. But Jimin said—

"Aw, get a room, guys." A male tsked at our complicated situation. I flutter opened one eye to glance at the man.

It was Jimin... (Pt.2)

I lowered my head to Taehyung's chest and tried to hide myself under the fabric of his coat. "Um... I'm not sure what you're trying to do?" He uncomfortably lifted his hand when I snaked near his underarm. "She and I are tipsy. If she drove then we might end up in heaven instead of our home and... Same will happen if we switched seats."

"Hop on," Jimin said while shrugging. "I'll give you a ride."

A/N :- yo ppl !
Have you ever tasted alcohol ? I once tasted it long time ago so I don't even remember it's taste. Btw hope you liked this little gift ! Stay healthy and happy.

!!! EXPLANATION !!!

After people called my poor Y/N stupid for not remembering Jimin, I was reminded of this joke. "After every BTS comeback, locals think they fell in love with a new idol but it's just Park Jimin with a different hair colour." Please implement it on this chap. On their first meet, Jimin had orange hair (like in bwl) and here, he had midnight blue hair (like in on)
