Ahem..., My name is Shahnaz, Working as an assistant professor in the department of multimedia, Happily married and a mother to a cute girl, Ambivert, loves to cook. Movies, music, food, driving and books are my craze

How did you come across Wattpad?

That obvious route... Getting floored by Raglak while in college, Reading Fanfics on Telly updates, then writing on TU, and following the crowd to a much better user interface., Wattpad..

Did you join Wattpad especially for writing or how was the entire process for you actually?

I actually had to take a break, while writing on TU, the reason being my marriage and new work life. Later, some of my readers asked me to continue the FF,  some specifically pointed out to create an account Wattpad. Also, many of my favourites write then shifted their base to Wattpad, so just decided to mark my comeback on Wattpad along with TU. Started my account in 2018 and uploaded mine till updated chapter. But couldn't continue as I was busy as soon as my baby was born. During Lockdown, dusted up the old skills and started writing again

Did you expect winning the awards? How curious were you about the results?

I was looking forward for the results eagerly. Must say that you guys were very fast with the results.

But I had no expectations as I was competing with Writers like Anju and Shreya

It was not me, entire credits to admins and judges.. 🙌🙌

But you did crack it.. and Congratulations for that❤️❤️

Your bio reads you are a mom to an angel, so you have a daughter, right?

In that case, how do you balance motherhood, work-life and writing together?

Bit tough, my Husband is my constant supporter, Keeping up with my sweetness and tantrums. My Parents, Nani, Siblings, In-laws all are supportive. My simple mantra is to keep everything in its boundaries. While I am with my kid, No work issues should creep up, have a merry time with her and I do appreciate her that she is very adaptive and adjusting for a one and a half year old. She doesn't fuss over when I go for work, rather gives me goodbye and reminds me to bring her chocolates And while working, I keep myself into work, But still, my Baby pops up in mind. and writing, strictly, while she is sleeping

Ohh.. indeed a tough life🙌

And a supportive family of course ❤️

You have two stories on your profile right now. What are your plans ahead?

Many more ringing in my head. to be specific 5 more stories already planned... but time is the villain. If time and circumstance permit will pen them down soon

Is your family aware of you being on Wattpad?

My husband, sister, sister in law and friends know.

Your best and worst experience on Wattpad as of now?

For me, Wattpad itself is like a therapy. I can release out all my stress and negativity here by reading and writing. And the best part of Wattpad is meeting new people and making friends. I got one of the besties here on Wattpad, Sonja

And the worst part is when good stories get deleted when writers leave the platform.

Ohh.  I completely agree.. Wattpad is a great stress buster❤️

Challenges you face while writing? Also, as your story is too long, at any point did you feel like discontinuing?

Time., my only enemy. As you said my FF is pretty long and even chapters and long, So I need time to write and edit chapters. I can barely update 1 chapter a month, but I really want to update at least one chapter a week.

To be honest I discontinued once owing to my personal engagements, as I said earlier

But now won't leave in between

You have a great number of Followers! How long did this take and how happy does this make you?

I am really happy about the number of followers and am grateful to them that they find my work worthy. I don't know how long it took, But there was a steady increase in the number of followers after lockdown, i.e when I started actively updating again

That's a great thing.. and it genuinely feels good ❤️✨

Since your stories are great success, is there anyone from Wattpad whom you would want to give credits?

Actually, all my patient readers who put up with me... But will name some, Sonja she is my bestie and guide in many cases. the to Amisha, who urged me to come back, Anaz, Anju, Srilatha, and many more
