Ahsoka's PoV:

Of course, this wasn't my first kiss. The first one I gave to Lux when we were at Death Watch. But unlike the kiss with Lux, that was a thousand times better. The butterflies in my belly were dancing.
But at some point we couldn't breathe and Anakin leaned up and looked down at me something out of breath.
"Wow". he muttered more to himself than to me.
I had to smile involuntarily. My master got up and pulled me up with him. He put his arms around me and hugged me tightly. " Maybe we should practice a little more, Snips. " he whispered in my ear. All I could do was nod. That's all I could do.
Just as we wanted to start training Anakin's Komlink beeped. " Skywalker, here", he announced, and Obi Wan's voice came out of his comlink. "Anakin, you and Ahsoka shall go to the Jedirate at once". And he broke the connection. I looked at my Master confused, but he just shrugged his shoulders and put one hand on my back and gently pushed me towards the exit.

At the Jedirate. . .
We stepped through the door leading to the Jedirat Hall. But apart from the council members, Master Pong Krell was also present, who looked at us both quite fiercely. We bowed to the Jedi Masters and Mace Windu began to speak. " Master Skywalker, you are being sent on a mission with the 501st Legion. You'll be on your way to Umbara this evening. The planet has been taken over by the Seperatists and you will liberate it again. "
After Master Windu had spoken, Master Yoda spoke. " Padawan Tano, you will not accompany Master Skywalker. Master Krell will train you until Master Skywalker returns. "
Great. . . . . .
" Yes, Master", said my Master and I in the choir and were dismissed. Master Krell followed us out of the hall.
"You will be in the training room at 0500 tomorrow, Padawan Tano. " he said to me and left without waiting for an answer.
I threw out the air frustrated, dropped my head and headed for my quarters.
My Master followed me silently, he seemed so absorbed in thoughts that he only noticed that I was still there when the door of my quarters opened. He looked at me in amazement, but I ran to my quarters with my head bowed. "Hey, Snips wait a minute! " he came to my quarters before the door closed again.
"What's going on? " he sat down next to me on the bed and put an arm around my shoulders. " Oh, it's just. . . You're gonna be gone without me, and I can't protect you, what if you get hurt? And besides, why should Master Krell train me? No one in the temple likes him, and he's never trained a Padawan! "
He smiled reassuringly at me. How could he be so quiet? ! ?
"Snips, calm down. Rex's gonna back me up like he always does. Of course I'd rather have you with me, but I can't help it.
I don't like Master Krell either, Ahsoka. But I know how strong you are. You'll never let me take you down either, so he's not gonna make it either. Be yourself and make your master proud as always. " he grins at me and gives me a kiss on the cheek.
Of course he's right. It's only for a few days. I'll be able to do this.
"I always make you proud, Skyguy, what more do you want? " he started laughing and I laughed with him. "I wanted to hear that. " with the words he began to kiss me.
But after a few minutes he had to leave again, as he had to prepare for the mission.
I miss him already. . .
