"Eavesdrop much?", Alpha asked. Star Rise looked embarrassed. "No." "Then go!", yelled Alpha. Star Rise padded out of the den, looking up at the clouds. Suddenly, she ran into a mass of white. "Omega. Please stay out of my way next time.", sighed Bone. As she padded off, two pups ran up to her. "Acorn! I wanna talk first!", whined the black pup. "No way, Adder!", said the brown pup. "Hello.", Star Rise said. The pups stopped fighting and stared at her, eyes wide. "Hi Omega!", chirped Adder. "Do you have your mother-wolf with you?", she  asked. "Yeah!", Acorn pointed her tail towards a brown wolf, sharing prey with a white and black wolf. "Rose and Birch." Rose looked worried. "Pups! Come back here before Omega does something!" The pups looked sadly at Star Rise and then went over to their parents. "Sorry." "It's ok.", childed Birch. As Star Rise padded away, she realized that the sun was setting. "Excuse me?" Star Rise recognized Blaze. "Yes?" "Um, where do I sleep?", she asked. Blaze pointed to the middle of camp. "Oh." As she settled down, looking at the stars, she remembered Moon Rise, and growled. He was so mean to her! Freezing, she eventually fell into a dreamless sleep.
