PROLOGUE

When wolves are young, we are taught to stick together and never let each other go. We are taught to defend our selves against other packs and keep our pack safe.

Our Alfa, Dusk, makes a promise and keeps it. When it doesn't work out she keeps trying. That's what's great about living in a pack. Packs stick together and packs keep promises. You will never in all your life find a closer bonding.

We hunt for the pack. We protect the pack. We are, for the most part, packed.
