Me and Twilight were walking through the forest together. I knew I was dreaming because the sun was out along with the moon too. We walked through a field of dandelions. All of the sudden a herd of musk deer run across our path. We spring into action and try to catch the deer. I spring on one and slip off, being trampled by others.

I wake up breathing heavily. I sigh and walk out of the den and down the spiral rock. I lay in the middle of the clearing thinking to myself. I'm startled by the sound of Twilight behind me. He laid down beside me and asked," Bad dream?" I nod and sigh again.

He laid his head down on his paws. Him and I have been best friends since we were pups. We would play all day until the sun went down. When we were in training he would come see me after. He only just became a full Protecter, because he got attacked by a Dark Pack wolf. He missed his exam. I became a full Hunter a month before he did.

I could hear his steady breathing and knew he was asleep. I got up and went back in my den. I got Holly up and ask her if Twilight was eligible to become a Protecter teacher. She shrugged her shoulders and fell back asleep in her nest. I snorted. I walked back out and woke Twilight up. He shook his head and said," What is it?" He look more alert and asked," Is it an attack?" I shook my head and said," Yeah. I'm a Dark Pack wolf and I'm gonna hurt you."

I made a fake growl and pounced on him. He snarled and rolled over to look at me. He over took me and pinned me down. I wriggled around trying to free myself. I finally got out from under him and ran through the entrance. He ran after me. We ran through the woods, howling and barking.

We stopped at a ledge looking over the woods and moon. I almost fell off but Twilight pulled me back up. He sat down panting. I sat next to him and said," It's beautiful! Isn't it?" He nodded and said," Yeah. It's a full moon. Lets howl."

I howled at the top of my lungs. He howled more quiet and we both stopped when a squirrel run in front of us and said in a squeaky voice," Shut up, would ya? I'm trying to sleep." I snarled at it and it fled. We giggled in amusement.

I tried to make Twilight smile the whole time we were out. It was hard though because he would look away. I would jump in front of him and put my tail in my mouth. He would turn again and try not to smile.

Finally, I got him to smile and he looked at the horizon. He sighed and said," I think we should get back to the pack." I nodded and followed him through the forest. We walked back through the forest and heard a howl from the opposite detection.

Before we know it, we are being attacked by Dark Pack wolves. One pushes me against a tree and I hit my head. I see Twilight fighting like a champ before I black out.
