chapter 3 ...çøłđ...
(I just wanna say thank you to Biscottiboiii21 & KingDerpaDerp123 for helping write this chapter also the pic is an old drawing I made -, _-,)
(an hour earlier)
Oregon had entered his bedroom. He looks over and sees Washington sitting in the corner of his bed. Washington didn't look up from his book, not even to say hi.
'You're still mad at me ..' Oregon thought to himself.
Oregon sighs and takes off his scarf. He walks up to his bed and lies there for a good minute. The awkward silence made him feel uncomfortable and didn't help the situation.
"Soooo ... how was your day?" Oregon asked, hoping to end the awkward silence between them.
Washington puts his book down and glares at him, pushing his glasses back into place. He gives Oregon a face of disappointment and anger. Washington proceeds to ignore his older brother.
"YOU'RE STILL MAD ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED AREN'T YOU ?!" Oregon shouted at him.
"YOU KNOW IT AIN'T MY FAULT THAT YOU'RE ALWAYS A WEAK, DEFENSELESS FOOL!" Washington screamed back.
He rolls his eyes and grabs the covers of the bed and rolls himself in them. He turns over torwards the wall and his back facing Oregon. It was a gesture that indicated to both of them to shut up and go to bed.
Oregon felt guilty. He really didn't mean what he said.
[present time]
Oregon tossed and turned in his bed. He couldn't fall asleep because he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened earlier.
After awhile he let out a long, shaky, sigh. He looks around the room and stared at the corner of the bedroom. He examines the strange mirror in the corner of the bedroom. The longer he stared at the mirror the creeper it got. A few mins had passed, he could hear the dropping of a vase from a distance outside of the room.
Jolting up from his bed, Oregon looked to his brother, making sure he wasn't wide awake.
He got up and quietly peeked through the door. There was nothing there, so he quickly exited the room leaving the door halfway opened...
[Washington pov]
Washington lies half asleep on his bed. He opened one eye as the door open. He looks at the door then looks at the other side of the room.
The green state proceeds to rub his eyes. He hadn't realized that he had forgotten to take off his glasses before falling asleep.
Washington scanned his surroundings. The room had turned ice cold all of sudden. The tempurature didn't bother him, but something about it was very off.
'Why did he leave the door open again?' Washington questioned to himself
But just as he walked up to close the door, he flinched at the cold touch of icy fingers around his arm. He quickly turns around...

Oregon continues to walk down the hallways of the Manor. He sees a tall but sorta short figure in the distance bending down, looking closely at the broken fragments of the fallen vase.
Oregon approaches the figure. The Figure hears his footstep getting closer and quickly flash his cellphone light at Oregon.
Oregon is blinded by the light.
"Ow!" he yelled.
"Oh, it's just you," the strange Figure says before turning off his cellphone light and revealing himself.
"Oh, it just you calif .." he says
"Wait- why are you still up?" California looks at him.
Oregon looks at him
"Uhh II heard something break so I came out to investigate" he looks the other way.
"And you? What are you still doing up?"
"I couldn't sleep and I decided to just take a walk until I found this broken vase," California said.
"Did you hear it break or ...." Oregon says still looking down the hallway "
" No, I didn't hear anything except 2 people talking in the hallway. "California says as he closely examines the pieces of the vase.
There was a moment of silence before anything else was said.
"Strange this isn't a vase"
Oregon was confused.
"What do you mean it not a vase"
Oregon stares back at him.
"The pieces are made of ice that would explain why the carpet is wet ..." California drops the broken ice fragment on the floor.
" W-well whatever is g-going on, I want nothing to do with it.
I have stood up and stretched.
"I'm gonna go grab a glass of water," He says walking towards the kitchen leaving Oregon alone in the hallway.
1:30 am
30 mins had passed by ...
The ticking of an old grandfather clock could be heard throughout the house. Its chimes were loud, but not loud enough to wake anyone up.
Oregon got bored of waiting in the hallway. He had moved to the living room. He had sat there for 15 mins.
Oregon let out a sigh. He thought about what happened the other night. He sat there reflecting on what he did.
'Maybe it is kind of my fau-' he was interrupted by someone entering the room. He turns around to face her.
"Oh hey, I didn't see you there," Hawaii said.
(Have a California drawing)
"Hey, Hawaii," Oregon says facing her.
"What are you still doing up this late? You're usually never up this late." He said, a bit confused about the situation.
"I can't sleep," Hawaii replies.
She sat up and positioned herself right next to him.
"What about you? Why are you still up this late?" She asked in a sleepy, yet calming voice.
"I was waiting for that idiot to come back. But he never did...." Oregon says.
Hawaii raised an eyebrow. She was a bit confused on who he was talking about.
"Who exactly are you waiting for?" She asked with a smile on her face.
Oregon let out a deep sigh.
"Well, I was waiting for California, but I think he ditched me. Or... fell asleep...?" He pondered for a second. "Or he's dead!" He exclaimed in an overly dramatic yet excited tone.
Hawaii just sat there, confused.
"I don't think that would be a good thing..." she in a low tone voice while looking around the room.
"Where was the last place you saw him?"
"The last place I saw him was in the hallway with those ice fragments, then he said he was going to grab a cup of water. Now that I think about it, it doesn't take 37 minutes to get a cup of water..." He shifted uncomfortably. "Something's not right..." Oregon looked to the door to the hallway.
"Wait, what do you mean something's not right?" She starts becoming worried and fiddled with her fingers.
"Hawaii, I need you to follow me, just in case we have to get back up," He instructed.
(5 mins later)
Oregon opens the kitchen door to find no one inside to his surprise. Hawaii looks around the room before her eyes caught something light up on the floor. "Hey, isn't this Cali's phone?" She says while picking it up.
The phone light was on, but the screen was cracked. When she turned on the phone the whole screen was glitched out. From what could be made out of the screen, it looked like time had been stopped.
[Time: 1:00 am]
{5 message from ...}
"What ever did this seemed to have knocked it out of his hands really hard..." Oregon observed while staring at the frozen screen.
"He might have just dropped it," Hawaii adds.
"I don't know... this doesn't look like someone dropped it," he said. There was an uncomfortable moment of silence. The door that lead outside had somehow opened automatically. They both turned and stared.
The room seemed to get colder with no explanation. The mirror on the walls reflected the words "W.A.K.E U.P" in a messy handwriting.
The room felt frozen. A tall, skinny figure approached them both, and chills went down Oregon's spine. The figure's peircing blue eyes were the only thing that could be seen through the thick fog. The room went dark....
