It had 2 months swara slipped in unconscious state. She woke up in spells everytime screaming for sanskar then she would faint. Everyone took care of her like a delicate flower. Every minute someone was sitting next to her.

She could hear weired ringing sound in her ears.

Swara promise me you would raise our kid.. ahhha swara...she could see herself being pushed to safety while the bullet piercing into his body splurging the blood. His body helplessly rolling down the stairs.

His painful look while arjun picked him and blood dripped on his eyelid. How she held him on her lap that final good bye kisss...

Good bye kisss no never her sanskar can't betray her. He won't leave her the restlessness grew and she started shaking vigorously. Sujata was beside her she held her thinking it was just an episode like other days but today it was different.

Today finally she was opening her eyes diving in complete conciousness. Her lying strature ached a lot.

The light hit her iris badly she shut her eyes again opening it adjusting to light.

She at once sat upright on the bed her body was stiff due to lying continuously. She wished all this was a nightmare and it would pass on as she opens her eyes. Her Sanskar would be close to her she found herself engulfed in an motherly hug.

Sujata: I am so happy to see you awake. It's been such a longtime that you were sleeping.

Swara could sense some void. Then she heard another sweet voice on the door chirping. Ragini at once ran towards her sister hugging her with immense love.

Ragini: I missed you so much di.. you just scared all of us.

Laksh also walked behind her giving her an reassuring smile. Her throat had dried she asked for some water. Ragini filled in a glass and helped her drink it.

Finally swara asked the question she was longing for a longtime.

Swara: Sanskar...how is Sanskar?

Badi Rani sa: Laksh summon the doctor that swara has gained conciousness.

Sujata( holding her hand): Now that you are awake i will take utmost care of my daughter and grandchild. No harm would reach you both.

Her words pulled her towards sanskar again. Were they avoiding her question. No it must be just that Sanskar was recovering. Everyone didn't want to stress her.

She remembered how much he was wounded. His body covered in blood and he also had to undergo brain surgery. So, he must be resting for sure. No for brain surgery he would have been abroad or mumbai. Her chain of thoughts broke when doctor entered followed by the nurse.

Doctor: I would request you all to wait outside. I need to check her.

Everyone left the space.

Dr. Rana: So good to see you recovering. Your baby is also growing well as per last sonography. Soon we will have an anomaly scan.

Swara: Anomaly scan it would be done in 5th month.

Dr.Rana: Swara this is your fifth month.

Swara: Fifth month....How is that possible the incident happened yesterday last day of Navratri on occasion of Dussehra. It's my third month Dr Rana.

Dr Rana: Listen swara just calm down we will talk on this topic later.

She doesn't know whether she was listening to anything but after all just one question she wished to ask.

Swara: Dr.Rana how is Sanskar?

Doctors body stiffened at the question which she sensed by his grip on her pulse which he was examining. He seemed tongue tied and then he stammered a little. All this was making swara scared she at once felt a sharp pain running right through her tummy. She left out a scream.

Dr Rana: Oh my dear, you must not stress yourself so much. Just take rest saying this he injected something in her vein. She was too weak to react or struggle. Nurse helped to put her body straight on bed.

Swara(blabbering in sleepy state) : sanss..s.annss...my...sssaans.

She was again drifted into a calm sleep.

She analysed the surrounding when she woke up next it was calm and dead silent. She could only hear sound of machines plugged into her. Slowly she scanned the room and found her sister sleeping on the couch while her brother in law laksh was sitting, resting her sisters head in his lap. She lightly rubbed her eyes wandering where sanskar would be.

Two month flew away, what she had been doing. Where is sanskar? Why he didn't come to her?

She felt like crying, she wanted him near her. She decided to drop down from bed and walk but alas! her legs didn't move they seemed heavy and jam. Where sanskar would be how would be his health. He would need her only these things kept rotating in her mind.

She found herself helpless, she couldn't control her emotions and started sniffing badly. Laksh's sleep broke and he saw swara awake. He softly placed Ragini's head on the couch adjusting a pillow beneath her head.

Laksh came near swara who was still lying on bed between all the wires.

Laksh(softly): Bhabhi sa, what happened? Are you again feeling pain should i call the doctor? Is it hurting?
He was about to go when she held his hands

Swara: Just tell me Rana sa is fine.

Laksh knew she right now just needed assurity. He softly replied.

Laksh: You rest, everything would be fine.

Swara's tears were not ready to stop. She wanted to rush out of the room and reach her sanskar. God knows how he would be surviving without her. Her body was not supporting her also she knew that lil one growing inside her needs to be cared its his precious gift to her.

Laksh ( Softly patting her head): You are out from deep sleep we were very scared and need you. Please i owe my everything i will be with you bhabhi not only as devar but as a friend a brother. Bhabhi please trust me this baby is very precious to each one of us lots of dreams are associated with it.

She felt drained and closed her eyes.

Bright morning knocked in waking up swara from her long sleep. She opened her eyes to see a guilt ridden but tight smiling face of her father who gently caressed her forehead.

How she had craved for this love but now when she is getting it she doesn't seem to be happy. That man who gave her the warmth is not around.

Shekhar Raja sa: How are you bitiya?

Swara was amused by his tone and affection in his voice.

Shekhar: (joining hands): I know my mistakes are unforgivable. I am a bad father moreover a cruel human being. Still i ask for forgiveness from you and your unborn. Somewhere I am also a reason of you being here.

In the meantime Lakshmi Rani sa entered with Puja plate in hand followed by fleet of servants behind carrying food. Swara felt as if she was hungry for years and the smell was making her crave.

Lakshmi: Khamba ghani Raja sa.

Shekhar: Politely: Khamba ghani Rani sa

She seemed displeased with shekhar but maintain the decorum. Shekhar lovingly kept his hand on swara's head blessed her and moved from there. Then swara observed he was walking with support of walking stick may be oldage, weakness or.... She thought of asking it later.

Lakshmi : softly taking warmth of holy lit diya on palm and touch the warmth on swara's head, eyes and tummy.

She had a bright smile a genuine happiness for swara and baby. She gently pecked swara like a mother. Swara could see the mother sanskar always spoke about.

She ordered servants to place the food. Till they arranged the food a nurse came and helped swara with her morning routine. Swara's legs were weak due to 2 months on bed. She couldn't stand or walk on her own.

Lakshmi dispersed the servants and started feeding swara. Swara's eyes watered feeling the motherly love she always missed in her life. Lakshmi softly wiped the tears with the corner of her dupatta.

Lakshmi: Mother should always be smiling happy to have a healthy smiling baby.

Swara looked at her passing a genuine smile.

Lakshmi: I may not have given birth to a child but I am...

Swara cut her in between..

Swara: You are Sanskars mother. He loves you more then anyone else. I am just feeling his potrayed motherly figure love. He always told me about you but our meeting was under circumstances where i could just not come near you but now i know why sanskar loved you so much.

Lakshmi:(smiling) you are just like him good and sweet talks.

A sumptuous spread of breakfast, cravings and love with which a mother was feeding her she was filled up to the brim

Swara: Bas Rani sa...

Lakshmi(looking behind): Who is Rani sa here? I am you are mother call me maa.

Swara: Maa

Now she had three mother's Annapurna,sujata and lakshmi...Just as Sanskar had...He had given her everything love, respect, responsibility, relationships.

As swara was happily having her convo Khushi came in with another set of servants carrying beautiful fresh flowers and some poster's. She came and hugged swara asking the servants to arrange the flowers in the room.

Khushi: Mother and baby has to wake up to fragrance of flower and with view of these(pointing at the flowers and the poster's of babies being stuck on the wall).

Swara: Thank you

Khushi: Please always keep smiling like this.

Lakshmi Rani sa took her leave.

Whole day she was busy with visitors khushi then pari came with adarsh and arsh, Ragini had got their loving chhotu(Kavita's son) and Roshni.

Swara was feeling very happy seeing everyone around safe and sound but sanskar where was he? What was wrong? Why none informed her about him? these questions kept on troubling her.

Afternoon Badi rani sa came with lunch and fed her making sure she ate properly then asking her to rest. Evening knocked in when men came to visit her.

Bade Raja sa ,MR, Laksh... everything seemed okay but that one person who had build that trust in swara that everything would be fine was missing. This happiness was incomplete without him. None of them had spoken about him as if he did not exist.

May be he was sent out of country for treatment and they didn't want to bother her. She knew her Sanskar would come back he would contact her soon. She needs to be patient panicking once gave her a shock in the night with that pain.

It had been a month she was much better. Not a second was she left alone. A slight stress or panicking would land her in excruciating pain she was observing this and the Sanskars words would alert her promise that you would take care of my baby. She could not loose the baby and let him down.

Maheshwari Mansion:

It was evening all the members of the family were discussing something. Some were counter questioning a kind of discussion was taking place. DP got up and then joining hands said something and left the space. Slowly everyone left the room.

Laksh: Maa sa we need to tell her. She can't live her complete life like this.

Badi Rani sa: I know but just let her be little stable and come back home.

Laksh: Maa sa I am scared she is attached to bhai this truth would shatter her.

Badi Rani sa: Let us do our part and leave everything on Maa durga swara had taken her blessing she is strong. Don't worry.

There was complete silence in the mansion. Though they were all at the dining table for night supper. Once an happy house was turned into silent graveyard.

We could see everyone at dinner table except Laksh and badi rani sa. No one spoke a word hardly dinner was touched and as Durgaprasad moved everyone left to their room. A strange silence was filling the space and hearts of everyone.

Parineeta fed Arsh with much difficulty. She watched the food and untouched plates hardly filled with some bits lying on the dinning table. She also retired to room with little boy.

Badi Rani sa was in hospital, feeding swara while she silently ate.

Laksh was sitting zoned out today lost somewhere in deep thoughts.

Swara: Nahin maa sa I am full.

Annapurna: Nope, eat a little see your little one needs healthy food to grow. You also need to eat, or else how would you be able to bear the labour pains. You also have to walk your body needs strength for that.

Swara: Maa sa I am really full and i promise i would take utmost care of me and baby. My sanskar want's me to do so and wherever he is i know he wishes the same.

Annapurna's body stiffened at the mention but she hid it with a smile.

Annapurna (keeping hands on swara's cheek): You are becoming matured hain na Laksh.

Laksh came in present

Laksh: Haan... Haan maa sa

Swara found his behaviour strange. Annapurna bid her bye and was leaving.

Annapurna: Laksh, Ragini has an emergency to handle in some village she will come late today. Don't worry Lakham singhji is with her.

Laksh nodded his head in understanding. As Annapurna left laksh took some papers and came towards swara.

Laksh: I need your signature on these.

Swara looked confused at the papers.

Swara: What is this? (Smiling) Ohh it came by mistake i think you don't know these need Sanskars signature.

Laksh: Swara in his absence we need your signature.

Swara: In his absence? What do you mean? I know he would be under treatment but that is not termed as absence.

Laksh (sighed): Swara you are right but this project is under the properties that are assigned to you therefore your sign is required. I hope you won't like Sanskar facing losses.

Her thumping heart calmed hearing nothing negative from Laksh. She signed it without any other question.
Laksh turned and kept file on table he took phone to inform in Sanskars office at mumbai.

Swara caressing her baby bump.

Swara: See baby baba is so dedicated to work now he is resting making me work (smiling) You know he is the best when he will get well and come he will love you so much.

Hearing her tears slipped from Laksh's eyes.

He came out of the room into the garden and screamed his heart out. Ragini just reached there, Laksh sambhalo, Laks...laksh.. he was punching ground harshly.

Ragini: What happened?

Laksh: She is hoping bhai bbbhhaha will come.. How would we tell her? Bhai told me to look after his kid like my own baby but if swara knows will she survive then baby....No no no...

Ragini: Therefore in the afternoon Raja sa asked us to be strong and hide.

Laksh: It's wrong Ragini she has the right to know that bhai...

Ragini: Shhhshhh don't say anything just stay strong you have her responsibility jiju sa gave it to you with immense trust...

Swara was in her sixth month of pregnancy her life was going on in a glitch. One month flew by her kid was growing healthy. She was now able to do her own work.

No one spoke about sanskar neither she had any news from him. She kept thinking about the possibilities that would have happened after she went unconscious. Her bar of anger was raising and she was now frustrated and wanted to know about sanskar.
She was ready with her questions and determined to search her answers.
