I'm afraid too...
This is going to be An AU where Ghost is on his first mission as a paranormal investigator but some thing went wrong and now the town he is in is filled with monsters and he is the last surviver... So he thinks. Jimmy is
still in his head. He did not meet Toast yet. This is kind of based off of Cry of Fear and Afraid of Monsters. I am including some of the monsters, so yah.
It was Ghost's first mission and he was exhilarated. He was going to the town of "Inseburg" to check out an abandon hotel. It was supposed to be easy.
Everything was going fine. No sign of the ghost. So Ghost thought it was just a prank. Oh, but he was wrong. He heard crying from one of the rooms so, being the curious boy he is, he went to go check it out.
"I wouldn't do that if I where you."
"Go away, Jimmy. I don't care about your opinion." Ghost mumbled.
"Alright. But don't say I didn't warn you." Jimmy sighed. Ghost walked into the room and saw a little boy standing in the hall, wearing a trash bag with duck tape on it. He was holding a knife. He ran at Ghost. Ghost screamed and as a reaction he punched the little boy in the head. Killing him.
Ghost just stood in shock. He just killed a child. Jimmy, on the other hand, was laughing. "Oh, that was incredible!" Jimmy laughed. Ghost just stood there, starring at the little boy's lifeless body.
Tears started brimming his eyes. Soon after he fell to his knees and started to cry.
After he finished crying, he decided to try to find out what happened to the boy. He walked outside on the patio. He looked down and saw more monsters like the little boy. There where more that looked like the little boy, some girl in a blue dress. With drill hands? And a man with a chainsaw.
"OH, THIS IS GOOD-HAHAHAHA!" Casket screamed inside Ghost's head. Ghost only let out a whimper. He jumped down from the second floor, landing in the bushes. What he saw made him sick to his stomach. Thousands of dead body's, Ranging from children to elders.
Ghost wanted to throw up. Jimmy was trying to take control. Ghost was scared. Until everything stopped. Ghost took Jimmy's knife out of his satchel, except... Jimmy wasn't in control. Ghost was.
Ghost had enough. He was going to make these... Things, pay. But the funny thing was, Ghost didn't know they where monsters. Only Jimmy did, Ghost thought they where people. He didn't see they like Jimmy did.
Ghost ran up to the little girl. That's when he saw what they really looked like. Ghost was frozen with fear. The little girl charged at him. He ran. He ran until he lost her. But not before she slashed his thigh.
Ghost found himself in a subway station. Ghost limped over into the corner. He took a little yellow, black, and white stuffed rabbit he named " Gangster Bear." Or "G. Bear." For short.
Ghost hugged G. Bear as he tried to drift off to sleep. Ghost saw a man in a black hoodie, hood drawn, walking towards him. Ghost wrapped his arms around G. Bear, waiting for the monster to kill him. But it never did. The "monster" took his hood off. Ghost did not see it though. Because he had is eyes shut. The "monster" kneeled down, so that he was eye level with Ghost. The "monster" lifted Ghost's hood up. Just a little, so that it could see Ghost's eyes.
The monster spoke up. "Are you afraid of monsters too?" He had a British ascent.
Ghost opened his eyes. He saw a man with black hair, and ice blue eyes. The man smiled at Ghost. "I'm afraid of monsters. Are you?"
Ghost nodded meekly. The man smiled a caring smile. "My names Johnny Toast. What's yours?"
"M-my name is J-Johnny- Johnny Ghost." Ghost replied. Johnny Toast hopped down next to Ghost. He sighed, lying his head on the wall. Ghost looked over at him, he looked like he was about to burst into tears.
Ghost thrusted G. Bear into Toast's arms, he let out a surprised gasp. He looked down at G. Bear, and then at Ghost. "Thank you." He mumbled. Ghost smiled.
Soon after, Ghost fell asleep. Toast looked down the long, dark tracks, then at Ghost. "Maybe this world isn't all bad." He smiled, lying down at the other side of Ghost. "Maybe..."
Toast was awoken by a scream. He looked over at Ghost, who was crying and panting, burring his face into his hands. Toast jumped up and engulfed him into a hug.
"It's ok. I'm right here." Even though they just meant. It felt like they already knew each other. Ghost hugged back, still crying, but not as much.
After a bit they left the subway station, and started walking out into the town. Toast readied his gun, while Ghost readied his knife.
They charged into the monsters, bullet shells flying everywhere, the sound of a knife piercing something's skin, echoed in their ears.
After they finished clearing out all of the monsters in that part of Inseburg, they moved to a new spot. They knew that the monsters would be back. In even bigger hordes than the last. Some how they managed to escape without a scratch. Well they thought they did.
They made it to a hotel. After they cleared that out they decided to just sleep in a random room. They were walking down the hall, Ghost collapsed.
"Ghost!" Toast shouted. Toast didn't know what was wrong. He brought Ghost into the room they where staying in. He tried to find out what made Ghost collapse. Then it hit him.
~Flashback~
He ran. He ran until he lost her. But not before she slashed his thigh.
~Flashback over~
'Thats it!' Toast thought. 'That.. Thing slashed him with her drill hand! He must of passed out from blood loss!' Toast ran over to Ghost's satchel and started looking though it.
"No... No... No... Yes! Found you!" Toast mumbled. Toast took a syringe out of Ghost's satchel. He gabbed it into his wrist.
Ghost awoke with a gasp. Toast smiled at him. Ghost smiled back.
"Okay, your alive. Now can we get out of here?!?!" Jimmy yelled. "Yes, yes we can." Ghost thought. After Ghost healed, they escaped the town. Soon to become paranormal investigators and partners.
~3 years later in Inseburg~
It is still a wasteland, with monsters still roaming the streets. People still waking up with no memory of how they got there. Some escaping, some dying. It's all apart of the game we call, life...
... I love Cry of Fear.
