After death
This Is going to be depressing because I'm in a really, REALLY bad mood.
Johnny Ghost was laying on his bed, waiting for Toast to come back home. He went to get some new weapons for ghost hunting, for them at 10:30.It was almost midnight and Toast still wasn't back. Ghost was getting worried.
"Oh, Toast. Where are you?" Ghost asked himself, hopping of his bed. Getting his hoodie on.
Ghost walked out the door. He hopped into the car, starting the engine. He zoomed out of the drive way, onto the highway.
The highway was quite. The random car passing by every few minutes. Ghost went to the the place where they always got the weapons. "Toast?" Ghost called out. No answer. Ghost called again. "Toast?" Still no answer.
"Oh, come on, Toast. I'm not in the mood tonight." Ghost mumbled. "Maybe he went back home? Yeah."
Ghost bolted to his car. He made it to his house but Toast wasn't there. Ghost checked in Jimmy's room, all he saw was a sleeping Jimmy. Ghost sighed. At lest one of them's safe. Ghost walked into Jimmy's room, shaking him awake.
"Jimmy, did Toast come home yet?"
Jimmy only growled in response, flipping over, covering himself with the blanket even more. "Jimmy, please." Ghost pleaded. Jimmy sighed, but still got out of bed to help Ghost.
"Okay. Where was the last place you saw him?" Jimmy yawned. "He said 'I'll be right back, sir. Just going to get some parts for a gun' and then he left." Ghost recalled.
"Ok, let's go find us some toast!" Jimmy smiled, walking out the door, Still in his pyjamas. Jimmy and Ghost sprinted into the car. Ghost got in the drivers seat an Jimmy got in the passenger seat.
"Start the engine, Ghosty-Goo!" Jimmy shouted. "... One. Ghosty-Goo? And two you seem hyper for someone who just woke up." Ghost smirked. Jimmy just stuck his tung out.
"That doesn't matter right now. Let's go find Toast!" Ghost shouted. Ghost and Jimmy drove down the street until they saw police, fire trucks, and ambulances by the side of the street.
Jimmy and Ghost exited the car and walked over to the police tape. What they saw broke both of there hearts. In the ditch was the mangled, bloody body of Johnny Toast.
Ghost ran under the police tape before the police, fire fighters, or the paramedics could grab a hold of him. Jimmy ran up behind him and grabbed him. Ghost screamed, trying to escape Jimmy's grasp. But to no victory. "TOAST!!!" Ghost screamed.
Ghost gave up trying to escape from Jimmy's arms, instead turning around, burring his face in Jimmy's chest. Jimmy rubbed the back of Ghost's head, a few tears flowed from his eyes. This was very out of character for the murder.
"Is this your friend?" A police officer asked. Ghost tried to Speak but only a squeak came out, and more tears. "Y-yes, he is our friend." Jimmy replied, wiping tears away with his sleeve.
"I'm so sorry about your loss..." The officer trailed off. "..." Jimmy said nothing. He just continued to try to comfort Ghost. "We will send the message to his family at one." The officer sighed, trotting off to talk to the other officers about all of this.
Jimmy picked Ghost up, bridal style, and placed him in the passenger seat. Jimmy jumped into the drivers seat. "It's all my fault." Ghost mumbled. "No it's not." Jimmy replied.
"YES IT IS!" Ghost yelled, more tears spilling from his eyes. Jimmy pulled Ghost into his arms placing a soft kiss onto his forehead. A small smile creep onto Ghost's face, knowing that Jimmy was there for him.
"Let's go home." Ghost sniffed. "Alright." Jimmy sighed.
--time skip--
It has been two months since Toast's death. Ghost has visited his grave once every month to place new flowers on it. Even Jimmy every now and then.
It wasn't the same with out Toast. Both of them could agree on that. Toast brought joy into there lives, made them feel like they belong. They missed Toast dearly but Toast wouldn't want they to mope over his death, no, he would want them to be happy.
Since Ghost didn't have anyone to hunt ghosts with, he asked Jimmy. Jimmy said "yes." They where going to an abandon asylum near where the accident happened.
Ghost and Jimmy entered the asylum with there gun and knife ready. "You go left and I go right?" Ghost asked. "Sure." Jimmy replied.
"Here take this."
Ghost handed Jimmy a Walkie-talkie to keep them in contact. "If anything bad happens, just press this button. Got it?" Ghost showed Jimmy how it works. "Yup." Jimmy smiled.
After they spilt up Ghost found nothing and was heading back. Jimmy, on the other hand found a ghost, a special ghost. The ghost was none other than Johnny Toast.
"T-Toast?!" Jimmy shouted. Toast only hugged Jimmy as to saying 'I'm glad your here.'
Toast pointed to the Walkie-talkie Jimmy was holding. "Oh, you want to talk to Ghost?" Jimmy questioned. Toast nodded. "Alright." Jimmy mumbled, Turing it on. "Hey, what's up, Jimmy?" Ghost asked. "Can we meet back at the door?" Jimmy asked.
"Uh.. Yeah, sure." Ghost replied.
Ghost walked back to the middle, waiting for Jimmy. Jimmy's foot steps where heard coming down the hall. Ghost turned around to see a bloody Johnny Toast. "Toast?" Ghost quivered.
"Hello, sir." Toast smirked. "Why are you so bloody?" Ghost asked.
"Let's just say 'if I can't have you, no one can.'" Toast laughed stabbing Ghost with Jimmy's knife. "Now you can join me in the after life." Toast smiled. Toast's smile faded. "What have I done?" Toast asked himself. Toast vanished. Heading to the after life.
One he was there he saw a confused Johnny Ghost and an angry Jimmy Casket. After a bit Toast mustered the courage to speed up. "H-hello." He waved. Ghost and Jimmy turned around. Ghost and Jimmy got up and ran at Toast. Toast thought that them where going to hurt him for what he did. But they didn't.
They engulfed him in a hug. "Wait. Why aren't you attacking me?" Toast asked. "Because we are happy to be with you." Ghost and Jimmy smiled. Toast didn't say anything. He just hugged his best friends even after death.
