The factions and rules
Ok so here I'm going to explain each faction and the rules for the book but before we start know this it's not an rp book but in the comments your choices can effect how the book will turn out in the chapters to come but I'll explain that later so there are five factions
The rioters(the one on the left) the sages(the one on the right) the aeros(the one on top) the slicers(the one on the bottom) and the scavengers (one in the middle)
The rioters are based off carnotaurus and armored dinosaurs like ankylosaurs and stegosaurs and ancient Australian mammals they don't use weapons they only use what natural have them horns clubbed tails claws stuff like that they use tools to build their homes and towns they can actually roll and charge at high speeds so no problem and are great engineers they can make stuff in a short amount of time with just some simple tools and their hands so if u like melee fighting and making stuff this faction is for u

The sages unlike the other four facts they can use alchemy now this alchemy alters natural like they can hold a hail storm in a vial or make a giant wall of trees to protect themselves now they actually need to learn how to do this stuff they use weapons like staffs and daggers their based off of sauropods ceratopsians and stuff like mammoths smilodons/sabertooth tigers and dodo birbs so if your into magic and stuff like it hear guys are for u(now I don't want everyone =_= joining this faction because that's not fair for the other factions and ruins what I have planned for the book)

The Aeros they are based on pterosaurs meaning they can fly(same thing applies to the Aeros like the sages I don't want everyone joining this faction for the fact they fly)while their not built for close range fighting they are one of two factions that can use guns though they prefer stuff like sniper rifles and long distance assault rifles their also good with throwing knives though their not fighters at heart they would prefer studying and exploring the mountains they live in though if u like complete long distance fighting and the ability to
Swoop down on your enemies these guys are for u

The slicers are in short berserkers by pure definition their based off raptors tRex's allosaurus their meant to be apex predators anywhere they go they are one of two factions that use guns mainly stuff that can kill at mid range without much accuracy so mainly revolvers for close range and shotguns for mid range now these guys do have a tendency to attack first ask questions later but if u want to gore through enemies and tear them to shreds these guys are your main choice for that

The scavengers ok I'll be honest the scavengers are not a faction that fights often more often then naught they are selling weaponry to the other factions their based on ancient sea life plesiosaurs mosasaurus ammonites things like them while they can fight they choose not to because they are very water dependent which is why since this war started they have been guarding their home lands very closely so if u don't wanna fight I recommend these guys but hope ya know how to swim

Now there's a few basic rules each faction follows listed below
1-never kill one of your own factions kin
2-never attack without a plan
3- life is sacred so never take it without reason(the slicers generally ignore this rule due to their berserker like nature)
Now each factions has two rules of their own
Rioters rules
1-treat everyone like brothers in arms(basically meaning treat everyone as if their family not enemies though)
2-fight with what ya have if your not dodo(meaning NO weapons only what nature gave ya so if ya don't got anything to handle the buck of a slicers shotgun or some kinda weapon against the sages alchemy your screwed)
Sages rules
1-practice is always worth it
2-never use your skill to be lazy or else u face a quick lesson
Aeros rules
1-knowledge is everywhere
2-the skies can be as limitless as your creativity unless your a dodo brain
slicers rules
1-lie and u die
2-never show mercy to talking meats(that's what they call the other factions in battle)
Scavengers rules
1-if u can talk ya can work
2-there's always a way to make money if ya know what your doing
Now once u join a faction u can't leave it unless u have my permission now remember what I said at the beginning of the chapter your choices as a faction can effect what happens in a story an example would be is that the slicers need more water but need to convince the scavengers that they need some water it would be up to u guys to decide whether it's worth it or not kinda like a debate I honestly hope u all will join I've been planning this for awhile so thank u and enjoy
