Yet another round of me spewing the newest additions to my notes app. And as always, the poems are going to be sad, so you can't say me and the title didn't warn you. There's also little to none punctuation because I said so.

Better Company
the stars are better company than you
they don't leave me
especially when things get rough
they don't yell at me
and they can't hurt me purposely

yet, i still find myself wondering
constantly wishing
what if you had been better company?
you had said my name lovingly
instead of shouting it
you had pulled me in close when the clouds rolled in
instead of pushing me away
you had made me meals
and made our bed
instead of leaving me to starve and sleep alone

the twinkling lights in the sky are still here
just as they always will be
and you're nowhere to be found
just as i should have predicted

Here's where I remind you I've never been in a relationship before... I wrote it about the feelings a person could experience after a partner leaves them, and they realize just how shitty they were treated.

This one is wayyyy shorter than the last, but I kinda like it, so I decided to include it! I can't even remember when I wrote it lol, but knowing me I was probably in class or something. It's just about how people are like "you're my forever," and I'm majorly pessimistic, so my pov is that forevers just aren't gonna happen.

I would have more to share, but I lack confidence (even when I know y'all wouldn't judge me), which means this is all it's going to be for now! Hopefully you're having a wonderful day/night wherever you happen to be, and if you aren't feel free to rant to me about it. I'd be happy to listen! :))
