I went out from Guren's office puffing. I had to bring a stack of sheets,but, in the end it wasn't a problem, not if with those paper I could have the opportunity to meet Shinya Hiiragi. I sighed, happy. Not only I would have met him, maybe there was the possibility to meet him alone and exchange more than a simply greet.

"(Y/n)!" "Hi Shinya! I've brought you some paper to read from Guren!" I said smiling. "Goodness...I'll be busy for a while I think..." Then he cast an amused smile at me. "Have you got something to do?" "I-I? No, no..." "Would you mind helping me? In two we will end sooner!" Help him and have the possibility to spend some time with him?Could I refuse? Of course not!

And so I found myself spending the day with Shinya reading and archiving those sheets. It was better than I had hoped, but I also knew that it was always I could have. All I could aime at. Because Shinya was a member of the Hiiragi family and the members of that family can't for sure lower theirselves to inferior levels to their standard; I wasn't for sure the right person for Shinya, I wasn't worthy to walk by his side.

Despite that it was impossible for me not to fall in love with him. Even if he was part of the Hiiragi family, I had noticed how much different he was, moreover compared to people like Kureto. Shinya didn't look others down on, but most of all he could be sweet and gentle... And he could smile. His sincere smile were for me the most beautiful thing. They spellbound me.

"(Y/n)?Are you spellbound?" Shinya was looking at me smiling. "N-no, sorry." And I lowered my look, perfectly knowing that I had became red. Shinya laughed. " I thank you, anyway. Who knows how much time this would have required without you! I'm sorry for making you loose lot of precious time." "Don't worry. I've already told you. It was a pleasure." "Thank goodness! See you!" And he winked at me. I went away full of joy.

Had passed the day with him made me really happy. Also that evening I was lucky. "Ehy, (Y/n)!" "Shinya!" I said surprised. "I've seen you going away, so I thought to come with you, if you want." I looked at him speechless. " You don't need to worry, I can perfectly..." "Take it as a sort of thanks." "Shinya... I've told you that..." "Yes, I know it, I know it! Actually I wanted to ask you if you don't mind joing me also tomorrow, you know, we can work better in company!" I stopped for a minute, looking at him. "Shinya..." I whispered. "Come on, (Y/n), you won't abandon me with those ugly sheets, want you?" "Oh...of curse not, how could I do this?" I answered amused.

But I wasn't really sure about it. It's right, it would be nice, but this involved also getting hurt, and much in a long time. I wasn't helping myself going away from him, but to fell in love even more. I sighed. But, in the end, a single day couldn't make the difference, right?

The following day we ended soon. "Shinya, I go. Hi..." And I stood up, ready to go away, but, before I could reach the door, something blocked my wrist. "Wait, (Y/n)." And I felt the body of Shinya nearnig to mine before he turned me and I found myself not so far from his face. "Stay some more time." "No, Shinya." "Say it looking me in the eyes." He whispered. I lifted my gaze. "Shinya..." But I lost myself in the beauty and tenderness of his eyes. "Have I no effect on you?" He asked mischievously nearing his lips to mine. "I don't belive so, you know..." And he kissed me with softness, holding my face in his hands. "Shinya..." I whispered. "I'm not the right person. Look at you, you're an Hiiragi, I'm nothing. I'm not..." "Sshh..." And he placed his fingertip on my lips. "I want you to remember that neither me, I'm not part of the family, I'm only an adoptive son and nobody worries now of what I do." I looked at the ground. "You were engaged with Mahiru, why are you interested in me?" I asked hesitant. He sighed. "I've never loved her. The only person I love is right here, in front of me." And he gave me a kiss on my forehead. "Really?" "Yes, (Y/n)." I placed a hand on his neck. "I love you too, Shinya."He smiled. "I've told you that I was right." And he kissed me again.
