I got out of the way to let the vampires pass. They were three: one with purple hair rather talkative, near him walked a vampire with black hair. Behind them walked him, with his serious and taciturn attitude: Mikaela Hyakuya. I set my (y/c/e) eyes in his blue eyes, hoping that he could see me. "Hey, Mika. It seems that someone is staring at you!" The vampire with purple hair had stopped, his crimsom eyes set on me. I shivered. "Maybe if you ask her she will let you drink her blood." I grew pale at these words and I looked at Mika. He was looking at me with an inscruzable expression. I swallowed, worried. "It's forbidden drink directly." He said in a flat tone, without feelins. I would like to see him smile, even only once. The vampire who has spoken puffed, then they went away, but before they left I saw Mika addressing me a quick look. I smiled shy at him and I looked at him going away.
At various time I happened to meet him in the capital and, from the first moment something in his personality have catched my attentions. Everytime I saw him I studied his moves and his expressions and soon that strange vampire has catched the attention of my heart. But I was a simply human, a simply human that could be seen only as a source of food, this and nothing else. And yet I had a feeble hope because, in the end, dream doesn't cost.
The following day I was in a little secondary road when I run into one of the vampire who was with Mika. I hurried to move, but he took my hand pushing me on the wall. "Are you the girl from yesterday, aren't you? You have a delicious smell and I swear your blood is as delicious." I tried to free myself from his grip, but he was too strong. He nearered me to him and he lowered his head on my neck, sniffing. I began shivering and I closed my eyes, hoping that all that would end soon. "Lacus, what are you doing?" I opened my eyes to find Mika not so far. "Come on Mika, don't be..." "Leave her or I will report it." Lacus puffed leaving me. He went away. Mika came near my shaking body. "How are you?" I didn't answer, I was still shaken. He kept looking at me. "You shouldn't go alone in place like this. What's your name?" I took a deep breath. "(Y/n). (Y/n) (Y/s)" "Be more careful, (Y/n)." And he turned to go away. "Thank you, Mika." I whispered, but he went away. I sighed.
In the following days I didn't meet him, still, everytime I went out I felt that someone was watching me. I thought that I had became paranoiac, but I had to change my mind when, a day, turning back, I saw a hooded figure hiding. I made sure more times about that and, everytime I turned back, I saw that presence. So I tried to set off for home as quickly as I could. I was so absorbed in watching behind me that I didn't see the person I collided with. I raised my eyes while he grasped me, preventing me to fall. I stopped breathing seeing that he was the figure who was following me and my heart started to beat fast as I noticed that, under the hood, were hiding two blue eyes. "Mika..." "(Y/n) sorry... I didn't want to frighten you." He took off the hood, revealing his golden hair. "Why are you here?" I asked hopeful, then I lowered my gaze. "You want my blood..." Mika placed his forehead on mine and I felt a strong warmth on my checks. "I don't want your blood, (Y/n). I want you." And he kissed me tightening his hands around my waist nearing my body to his. I wraped my arms around his neck. He broke the kiss looking at me with his beautiful blue eyes. "I love you, (Y/n)." "I love you too, Mika." And for the first time I saw his face tighted by a smile. I smiled in turn thinking that I was the reason of his happiness.
