"Okay guys, we are going to free Ferid and Krul, we have to fight with all strenght if we want to survive." Said Shinoa. "It won't be easy. The enemy is a fifth progenitor." I commented. "We'll make it, (Y/n)!" Intervened Yuu. "I hope so." I whispered.

We saw in the distance the bodys of Ferid and Krul, it felt strange seeing them like that. Under one of the cross sat Kie Luke, the fifth progenitor, our adversary. He casted his glance in our direction and that was the sign that we had been intercepted, soon we were going to face him.

Things were more difficult than I had expected , the enemy was much stronger than what we had thought. It was difficult to stand up to him. Soon I came face to face with him. "What a nice livestock we have here. I bet your blood is delicious." And he smiled mischievously. Why was he so interested in me? I payed dearly for this distraction of mine.

"Make a move and your friend will end bad." An arm of the vampire was wrapped around my waist and around my arms, preventing me from moving. With the other hand he aimed a sword at my neck. What he said was true. He could kill me with the smallest movement. "Don't worry about me... Make what you have to do!" I screamed to the others. "Don't you care about your life?" The vampire whispered these words in my ear and I shivered. "We won't leave you, (Y/n)!" Screamed Yuu. "They don't want to surrender, maybe they haven't understood..." I felt the blade of the sword sinking lightly in my skin. The vampire sniffed the air. "What a delicious smell..." I shivered again. His arm released the grip on my body. Kie laughed and threw himself against my friends. Later they were all on the ground and only him was standing, and yet he killed nobody.

Kie came closer to me again. "It seems you aren't so much strong. You know... I should kill them for what they were trying to do." He bent down at my height and he lifted my chin, forcing me to look at him straight in the eyes. "But I thought that I could let them live, only if..." "If what?" I asked hesitant. "If you allow me a sip." And his eyes lowered towards my bleeding wound on my neck. I looked at the vampire perplexed. "You're not going to harm them?" "A promise is a promise." I had no choice. "I accept." The vampire smiled at me. At this point nobody could try and stop me: before I could realize the vampire had took me in his arms and took me away.

During his run I wrapped my arms around his neck and sank my head in his chest taken from the irrational fear that he could let me fall. "How funny, now you're clinging to me in this way? I thought you harboured a dislike for me..." I lifted my gaze finding his beautiful red eyes. I swallowed and blushed lightly, also because Kie didn't seem to be intend to let me go. I tried to free myself from his grasp and he placed me on the ground. "Well. I've put a lot of distance between us and them. We should manage to be quiet." And he smiled. He lookd around before returning to observe me. I lowered my gaze. I felt his hand caressing my cheek. "Try to be quiet, okay?" And he pushed me on the ground bending over my neck. I closed my eyes feeling his tongue licking my wound. His hands unbuttoned the uniform leaving my neck exposed. His tongue was again on my skin. His fangs caressed my neck, with his hand he brushed my cheek interlacing his fingers in my hair. I let escape a moan of pain when his fangs pierced my skin, but soon, with surprise, that pain turned into pleasure. Kie got off my neck, he passed his tongue on his lips, wiping the remaining blood. His eyes were set in mine and, I thought again that they were beautiful. His face neared to mine till our lips were a few centrimetes away. I did nothing to push him away, to avoid him and our lips blended. Without knowing way I answered his kiss, moving my hands around his neck. Kie pulled his lips away from mine. "Why have you done this?" I whispered wirhout leaving my arms from his neck. "I don't know what's happening to me... I haven't felt like this for centuries." "How?" I asked. "So attracted by someone. And I'm not only referring to blood... And what about you? It seems that you've liked it." I blushed. "How nice you are." He gave me a kiss on my forehead, then he lifted himself and helped me getting up. I staggered because of the loss of blood, but his arms were there, ready to catch me. I clinged to him. Could that really be that I was starting falling for that vampire, for an enemy? I neared my face to his, I wanted another kiss. He smiled, satisfing my desire. "If they know what I'm doing instead of controllig them..." I looked at him worried. "Don't look at me like that, (Y/n)... It's worth risking for certain things."
