Mei-Ling Zhou- Snow (a)

It was the middle of July and for the first time in years a heatwave had made it's way through the city where you and Mei lived together, you were struggling but she had spent a good part of her life in Antarctica so she was feeling the heat more than most people.

"I don't know how to cope" she lay sprawled across the sofa in just her underwear, fans pointed onto her from every angle, but it clearly was not enough. "Send me back to the cold place."

You tried to call her out for being dramatic, but even though the windows and doors stood open the heat was quickly becoming unbearable.

"How does Snowball cope when it's this hot?" The little bot came solemnly floating into the room, a miniscule trail of frost pushing it along.

"He doesn't." Mei tenderly scooped Snowball up and rested him on her belly, he struggled to keep afloat but the cool blaze clearly felt nice.

"Can't he... make it colder in here or something? You have a gun that literally freezes people why can't we use that?" She laughed with as much effort as she could manage before explaining how stupid and dangerous that would be.

She enjoyed the small cool patch on her stomach for a few minutes before her eyes lit up, the back panel on Snowball popped off, revealing a myriad of wires and boards which Mei had great joy in rearranging, she took great care to not harm her friend.

"Say hello to Snowball 2.0" The previously fatigued bot rose to the ceiling with great vigor, it's wide thrust now sprinkling flakes of frost all throughout the room, they fell on your skin instantly relieving it from the heat.

"Snowball... make us a snow cone please." Her hands cupped together as Snowball released a swirl of crushed snow into her palms. "I don't know how good it will taste, but I wasn't planning on eating it anyway." She lay the ice over her skin and basked in the fans breeze; the biggest smile you had ever seen instantly fell onto her face.

You followed and allowed Snowball to fill your hands with the joy filled snow. It would have been easy to just copy Mei, but it was also just as easy to crush the snow into a ball and throw it towards her, the missile flew, narrowly missing Snowball and instead hitting her in the side of the cheek.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." She sat up, smirking menacingly as she called Snowball over. "I have more friends here than you."
