The party was nearly over and you had only seen Sans once or twice.  It didn't help when Undyne decided it would be a good idea to dance.  Not that it wasn't a good idea, it's just that the house got a lot more hectic and it was harder to find Sans.  You smiled and blushed as you thought about him.

Just then someone grabbed you from behind making you nearly jump out of your skin.

"Scare ya?"  You turned around to see Sans behind you holding two drinks.  Your blush deepened as you accepted the drink he held out to you.

"You bet.  I nearly jumped out of my skin."  You both laughed.

"Then you would be a skeleton like me."  You laughed a little, but it only fizzled out into awkward silence.  "I would like that."  You thought, only making your cheeks redder.  You thought you couldn't blush any harder until seeing Sans's slightly blue cheeks proved your beliefs wrong.

"Welp, unless Pap is going to catch a ride with Undyne and Alphys, I need to find him so I can leave."

"So soon?"  He nodded.

"Yeah, we've got things to do."  You nodded.

"Oh, okay.  I understand."

You said your good byes, hating yourself for not trying harder to find him sooner.
