Once Marco is back in his own dimension after spending 16 years trying to get back Star's dimensional sizers, he starts missing some of the things he left behind. Couldn't he at least have keep his six pack? But Star takes it upon herself to cheer him up and show him that six packs are overrated. Enjoy! 😊
He knew that it would be different now that he was back in his own timeline, but Marco didn't realize how easily he seemed to slip back into his old routine. It was almost as if he really had only been gone for a few minutes. Okay, it was only a few minutes in this dimension, but to Marco, he spent 16 years chasing after a pair of dimensional sizers.
But even though he was adjusting back to his time line well, he still missed a lot of the things he left behind. His beloved pet nacho, his old tent he would sleep in, he was even starting to have trouble speaking the languages he learned. But the thing he missed most of all was finally being out of that awkward teen phase. He'd grown up and grew out of his baby fat and acne in exchange for a six pack and good complexion. Now his body had been adjusted to his original time line, and he was back in his awkward teenage body.
He was standing in front of the mirror for the 3rd time that day, observing how his body looked now while remembering what it once was, when Star came into his room.
"Marco?" She called out. "Come on, you can't sulk in front of that mirror forever."
Marco quickly covered up his stomach and turned back to Star.
"Yeah, I know. I was just about to come out."
Star stepped into his room and approached him.
"You've been looking into the mirror a lot lately. I'm getting worried about you."
Marco took a second to compose his thoughts, then said, "I just wish I could have keep something from my old life other than this burn mark on my head. Anything would have been great, but I would have at least wanted to keep the six pack."
"Marco, what's wrong with not having a six pack?" She asked.
"Well, I don't know. I guess is because of standards. What's so great about this useless, wimpy flab?" He emphasized his point by poking his own side, and observing how his finger seemed to sink into his skin.
After pondering what to do to cheer up Marco, Star suddenly got a smirk on her face as an idea came to her. "Well," she said, her hands out stretched and fingers wiggling as she slowly walked towards him, "I guess I'll just have to show you how great a squishy tummy can be!"
"Um, Star?" Marco said nervously as he backed up to his wall. Suddenly he was cornered, and Star took that moment to pounce.
She started squeezing Marco's sides, needing into them, and Marco was instantly reduced to a giggling mess as he was attacked with the tickles.
"A squishy tummy is absolutely adorable!" She cooed. "Just look at you laughing away."
To emphasize, she started spidering her fingers across his ribs, and his laughter turned from giggling to howling. His legs gave out and he collapsed to the ground, trying to protect himself from the attack. But Star managed to still get at his sensitive torso.
"STAR NOHOHOH!" He tried to protest. "IM NOT ADORAHAHAHBLE!"
"Really?" Star said with mock skepticism, "because this looks pretty adorable to me."
And it was. She remembered the time they played with the truth or punishment cube, and she saw Marco giggling along side her as the cube was tickling them for the first punishment. Even though she was being tickled too, she still enjoyed seeing her friend being reduced to a squirming mess. And now Star couldn't help but smile down at the squirming boy as blush rose to his cheeks and his laughter rised. It was contagious, and Star was giggling along with him.
"Coochi coochi coo, Marco!" She teased. She noticed the blush grow even more on Marco's face as he attempted to roll over to hide it.
"Well I'm having a good time right now! A squishy tummy is way better than a six pack! It wouldn't be nearly as fun to tickle you like this! And I think it's making you even more ticklish!"
Once again Marco tried to protest, but he was cut off by tickling at his feet. The laser puppies had gotten into his room and were licking his toes. He trashed his legs, though trying not to accidentally hit one of the puppies.
"Aww, look!" Star giggled, "the puppies love your laughter too! They're having as much fun as I am!"
Marco's eyes were tearing up at this point, and his laughter was becoming more horse, so Star called off the puppies and momentarily stoped to let her friend catch his breath.
"Is it- it over?" He asked, still panting.
"Well, not quite yet." His tormentor stated. She quickly lifted up his shirt so that all his torso was showing.
"I'll only stop if you say, 'I'm Marco Dias, and I have an adorably ticklish tummy!'"
"What?" Marco shouted, attempting to pull his shirt back down. "No way! I've already been tortured enough! When will it end?"
Star tisked at him with mock disappointment. "You leave me no choice then, Marco." She then took a deep breath, and blew a raspberry into his exposed belly. Marco's laughter once again echoed through out his room, as the unbearable sensation ran across him.
"NOHOHOHOH! STOHOHOHP IT STAHAHAR!" He begged.
"I'll only stop if you say it!" She blew another raspberry on his belly, and he finally started giving in.
"ALRIHIHIGHT!" He howled. "I'M MAHAHARCO DIAS! AND I HAHAHAVE AN ADOHOHORABLH TICKLISH TUMMY! HeeheahAHAH!"
"That's all I needed to hear." Star stoped her tickle attack and backed off of Marco. Still panting, he got up.
"Was that really necessary?" He asked.
"Of course it was! You're cheered up now and aren't thinking about insecurities any more! You can only think about how relieved you are to get out of that tickle attack!"
Marco couldn't help the smile that crossed his face. "Okay," he chuckled, "you win. Maybe this old body isn't THAT bad."
"You'd better think so Mr. Dias," Star warned. "Because if I ever see you sulking like this again, I'm going to have to call on the tickle monster to come cheer you up."
"Hahaha, okay, okay! Just no more tickle monsters!" He giggled.
So maybe six packs really are overrated, after all, they aren't nearly as fun. So now whenever Marco's in a mood, Star just has to remind him of how great it was to have just a little bit of flab by calling on the tickle monster to cheer him up. Plus Star really did enjoy tickling her friend, and was always up for making Marco laugh.
