5 years later....

Me and Delilah were in the living room on the living room floor playing tea party.

"Alright ms.Del i hate to end such a fabulous party but its time for bed." i tell my daughter.

"Aww but mommy i just got the 'cookies' out of the oven." she pouts holding up a plate with nothing on them.

I giggle."well you can make a fresh batch of cookies tomorrow after school tomorrow."

"Promise?" she gave me puppy dog eyes.

"Promise." i say smiling. She may have my (e/c) but she has her fathers puppy dog eyes. I cant deny that.

"Alright princess lets get washed up and tucked in." i say getting up.

"Piggy back ride?" she gave me those same eyes.ugh shes good at bribing.

"You must know what youre doing." i bend down and she wrapped tiny arms around my neck i get up and zoom down the halls.

"Wooosh!!" i say she giggles."pilot del we are now landing into the airport ready?" i say.

She giggles."yea!"

I crouch down and she hops off my back i fill up the the tub with suds and water of course while she gets her toys.

She takes off her clothes and gets in the tub and she was off in her own little world letting her imagination take her on far away adventures. I smile."Call me when youre ready to get out of the tub k?" i tell her.

"Ok!" she says smiling.

I had one foot out of the door."Mommy?" she says.

"Yea Del?"

"Where's my daddy today at school everyone got to share what their daddy's job is i didnt."

My eyes stung i felt the tears threatening to fall but i tried my hardest to hold them back."uhm your father is...He's um well i dont know where he is." i admit.

"Oh." all the hope in her bright eyes left and her head hung low.

I crouched down to her level."i know that wherever he is he's fighting so we can live a happy life." i say finally a tear slipped down my face i didnt know it until Delilah said something.

"Dont cry mommy im happy see?remember when you said when im happy youre happy im happy you dont have to cry." she wiped the tear from my eye.

I smile. "Thats right and im happy." i say faking a smile.

"Promise?"

"Promise, now ill be back in ten minutes to get you out go ahead and play with your toys for a little bit ok?" i tell her.

"Ok!!" she goes back to lala land i laugh and go back into the living room and pick up her tea party play set and put it in her room afterwards i wash the dishes and clean off the table.

"Mommy im ready to get out!" i hear her yell.

Thats when i realized 10 minutes went by faster than i thought. I go into the hallway closet and grab her favorite disney princess towel. That im required to wash every single night after her bath. I wrap the towel around her and carry her to her room.

After she dries herself off i help her put on her pajamas and tuck her in.

"Night night sleep tight dont let the bedbugs bite." i say kissing her forehead. I get up from her bed.

"Wait mommy!" she says.

"Whats wrong Del?"

"Can you sing me a lullaby?" she asked quietly.

I sigh."same one?"

"Same one."

I sit on her bed and gently tucker her long brown hair behind her ear.🎶"I remember tears streaming down your face when i said ill never let you go and all those shadows almost killed your light. i remember you said 'dont leave me here alone' but all thats bad has gone and passed tonight. Just close your eyes..the sun is going down...youll be alright no one can hurt you now....come morning light....you and ill be safe and sound.." i put my forehead to hers and hum the harmony."just close your eyes.."i rub my nose against hers"..youll be alright...come morning light you and ill be safe and sound." 🎶i move her hair out of her face she was fast asleep i smile.

My little angel.

I get up and take a shower. This wasnt exactly bed time for me i had business to attend to i get dressed then like that my work phone went off the chain. Hunters from all alround calling me for help on how to kill a witch or a vampire and the list goes on sometimes people stop by the house to get ingredients for a spell or something. Im basically the hunter's walking, breathing library. This goes on for hours until my alarm goes off it was 6:30 time to help Delilah get ready for school.unluckily i was in a middle of a call. The only problems i dont want to hear my daughter talking about wendigos,vampires or any kinda creature for that fact.

"Uhm what was it again joel listen what you need for your little vamp problem is dead man's blood." i tell him.

Soon little Delilah comes running to my office.

"Its a nest how can a single man like me handle 10-20 vamps?!?" 

"Uh my friend what you need then is a partner and thats all i can say and theres nothing else i can do to help.im sorry but i have to help my daughter get ready for school."

"Alright thanks for the help." he says.

I hang up quickly.

"Mommy who was that?" Delilah asked.

I grab her hands.

"That was one of mommy's work buddies there's nothing to worry about. Come on lets get you ready for school." i take her hand and we run into her room and i help her do her hair and gets dressed of course then i wait with her at her bus stop. The bus finally comes she gets on and i get right back to work.

8 hours later...

I looked at my watch i finalized my research on archangles and ran to her bus stop.  I was just on time her bus pulled up.

She ran off the bus.

"Hey careful." i warn.

She grabs my hand and we walk home.

"How was your day sweety?" i asked when we got in the door.

"It was good mommy!"

"What'd you do today?"

"We going over adding and subtraction."

"Cool go sit at the table and do your homework ill bring you your snack." i tell her.

"Ok." she runs into the kitchen with her bookbag i follow behind and go into the cabinets and get her a pack of cookies. Like me she has a love for oreos.  I put them in front of her and she opens the pack and eats a couple while she does her homework.

I hear a knock on the front door.

"Im coming." i say running towards the door i open it. I see two very familiar hunters standing at the door.

"Oh my god."

"(Y/n)?" Sam said.

"Oh fu-reak." i mutter.
