BACK AT THE NETHER WORLD, YANG'S POV

I punched my fist right through the chest of another Beowolf killing it instantly, I pulled my fist out and the Grimm's body dropped dead to the ground of the arena as it started to turn to dust, I spun around and kicked another Beowolf on the jaw breaking several of it's teeth before I followed up with a powerful uppercut that send the Beowolf flying into the air.

When the Grimm's body hit the floor the Browns in the stands whooped and cheered as they danced and celebrated, I raised my fist up and smiled as the Browns cheered louder, I then quickly punched another Beowolf before blasting it with the shotgun in my gauntlet, sending it flying into the rock wall of the arena where it disintegrated into black dust.

"Whoo doggy! Lady Yang has certainly shown her brute strength in this battle, she's gone SEVEN ROUNDS and isn't tired yet!" Quaver announced from the hollowed out Dragon horn, making the Browns whoop and holler in excitement.

"OH YEAH! Another win under my belt!" I cheered as I raised both of my fists into the air getting a very loud cheer from the Browns around me in the stands.

"Now onto a special round just for the lady, BRING IN THE BIG BOYS!!" Quaver yelled, making the Browns sheer louder in anticipation of the upcoming fight.

I looked to see five very large Ursa get pushed into the arena followed by an Ursa Major, the Grimm picked themselves up and roared at the surrounding Minions before they all set their sights on me, the Major roared loudly signalling the others to rush me all together, I smiled and cracked my knuckles and grinned as the bear-like Grimm came closer.

"All right, come and get me!" I yelled as the Ursa lunged at me, I pulled back my fist and punched the Grimm right in the snout making it fly backwards, then I jumped to avoid another one's claws swiping at my legs before blasting Ember Celica in it's face, blowing up it's entire head and killing it, then I saw two more rush at me and swing their claws at me but I easily moved aside so they couldn't hit me.

Then I used Ember Celica to propel myself towards the two Ursa, when I reached them I drop kicked one of them in the chest making it fall onto it's back before I landed on it's chest and blew a hole in it's chest with Ember Celica, then I jumped into the air and delivered a heel kick to the top of the second Grimm's head, shattering the armoured mask and smashing it's head into the rocky ground.

I was suddenly tackled to the ground and one of the last two Ursa loomed above me on it's back legs letting out a loud roar as it threw it's weight onto me, I cocked my Ember Celica and blasted myself out from under it before it could crush me.

I skidded along the ground and stopped a little bit away from the Ursa, however I saw a shadow looming over me and I looked back to see the Ursa Major's massive paw smash into me and send me flying into a wall, I watched the two Grimm come together to attack me as I stood back up, then I saw it...

Some of my precious hair fluttering down from my head towards the ground!

"Oh, HELL NO!!" I yelled as my hair exploded into an inferno, and my eyes turned scarlet before I launched myself towards the Two Grimm unleashing a flurry of punches on the normal Ursa before blasting a hole in it's chest.

"OH MY WORD!! Lady Yang's got some real power in those fists of hers! And quite the fiery temper too, kind of reminds me of a Dragon!" Quaver yelled excitedly over the horn, the Browns went so excited they started frothing at the mouths or pummelling each other.

"What!? You want some too!?!" I roared at the Ursa Major, the Alpha Grimm roared at me in response and lunged at me, I channelled my Aura into my fists and landed punch after punch while I avoided the Grimm's massive claws, eventually I overwhelmed the Major and delivered a final, devastating uppercut to the Ursa Major's jaw sending the Grimm flying upwards and over the wall of the arena, I could hear the Grimm's roar grow fainter as it fell into the abyss below the arena.

"By my pointy ears! RING OOOOOUUUUUUUT!!" Quaver yelled loudly before he collapsed in a pile in the announcers seat, trying to regain his breath while the crowd of Browns jumped and cheering the stands, I raised an arm into the air and the Browns responded with loud cheering, then I threw both arms into the air making the crowd go wild!

The rock doors slid open and I walked out of the arena bowing to the crowd as they cheered and clapped their hands, I stood up straight and walked out of the arena and went down the stairs onto a floating rock which lowered down to the entrance to the arena where I saw Gash standing with his executioners axe slung over his shoulder.

"Did you have fun in the arena?" he asked in a low, growly voice.

"Yeah, it was a good workout, I'm gonna go have a rest for a bit, maybe play a game on my Scroll" I said as I walked past, I jumped onto the rock and flew back towards the Dark Tower, I had to admit it was pretty cool living in such a big place, and even though we were living deep underground now the view was still pretty awesome.

The rock stopped at the ledge to the tower and I casually walked off of the floating rock and made my way into the tower, however I stopped when I saw the large number of Minions running around with big baskets full of different kinds of food, there were all kinds of vegetables and meat being sent through the portal to the surface world, like whole chickens and cows were being brought through!

"Woah! What's all this?" I asked in surprise as I saw two Browns carry a raw, whole body of beef through the doorway to the tower.

"Master find food! Send back to Tower, yes, yes!" one of the Browns giggled as he took a bite from a very big chicken leg.

"Wow, well I guess you could say this is, food for thought, eh? Am I right?" I said with a smile as I snatched an apple from a passing basket and took a bite from it, some of the Browns giggled at my pun while others followed my teams examples and groaned, I saw that the Browns were busy moving the food they had taken to what I guessed was a kitchen or something? So I left them to it and went to relax with my Scroll after the fight in the Battle Rock.

BACK IN THE HALFLING HOMES, THIRD PERSON'S POV

The group that was currently raiding the Halfling homes were standing in the garden laughing as they, and the surrounding area was covered in mushed up pumpkin from their fight, the Browns had just come back from sending back the last of the food from the burrows they had been looting from and were watching their Minion Master, Dark Lady, and her two companions finish up their pumpkin war.

"Ugh, I got pumpkin guts all over my clothes..." Weiss complained as she picked seeds out of her hair and dress.

"That was quite a childish game..." Blake said as she pulled pumpkin guts from her own ebony hair with an annoyed look on her face.

"But it was pretty fun!" Ruby exclaimed happily, Weiss and Blake stifled a giggle when they saw a chunk of pumpkin stuck on the metal prongs on top of her helmet, which was pulled off by (Y/N) whose robes were splattered with seeds, guts and juice.

"I must admit that was pretty fun, always good to enjoy yourself while smiting things!" the Sorcerer said with a wide grin on his face.

"That reminds me, it's time we get back to this fight my Lady, wouldn't want to be caught unawares after all" (Y/N) said as he recomposed himself and walked towards the hallways with his Minions following close behind.

"He's right, we've got to finish this quickly, before more people get hurt or worse by those Halflings" Blake said as she walked after him picking pumpkin seeds from her clothes, Weiss watched Blake leaving and found her eyes moving southwards watching Blake's hips sway slightly as she walked, a warm blush came upon Weiss's cheeks as she watched her walk away.

"Weiss? Are you okay?" Ruby asked as she leaned into Weiss's view, startling the white clad heiress from her thoughts and making her face turn bright red in embarrassment.

"What!? O-Oh yes, I-I'm fine... l-let's get going!" Weiss said before she dashed off after the others. almost slipping over some Pumpkin seeds in the process, Ruby watched Weiss run away in confusion before she shrugged her shoulders and followed after them, when she arrived she was quickly surrounded by her own Minions and saw (Y/N) glaring down at a wheel.

"Seems some careless Halfling has broken this wheel! We'll have to find the missing spokes before we can use it" the Sorcerer said in annoyance, then he turned towards a set of stairs that went downwards to a locked door which he quickly broke down and went through with his Minions.

"He's pretty eager to get this done..." Blake said as the sounds of fighting came from beyond the broken doors.

"He probably wants to wash that pumpkin off of himself, like I want to!" Weiss complained as she pulled seeds out from her dress.

"Yeah I kind of want another bath too, maybe we can have one when we get back to the tower?" Ruby said before she went to follow after the Sorcerer, she arrived in time to see the last Halfling die from a Fireball to the face.

"Are you kidding!? I'm not washing myself in a river, or a waterfall, I don't want those Minions watching me as I bathe!" Weiss yelled angrily as she stomped after her leader, Blake sighed as she walked after them.

When they arrived the hallway was surpisingly empty, they saw at the end of the hall was a gate and to their left was a staircase leading upwards, they walked up the steps and saw (Y/N) and his Minions battling aganist a small force of Halflings, on the ledges above stood a few Rock Throwers and in the middle the Minions battled against the warriors.

"We better give him a hand, Weiss, Blake take care of those Rock Throwers, I'll go down and help him with my Minions!" Ruby said as she jumped down and unfurled Crescent Rose, her Browns dashed down the steps and quickly rushed in to support (Y/N) and his own Minions, Blake switched her Gambol Shroud to it's gun form before she threw it to the ceiling and used the ribbon to swing over to the ledge, she immediately started attacking the Half Weiss drew her Myrtenaster and dashed towards the other ledge using her Ice Dust to freeze the Halflings in place before finishing them off in a graceful way.

In the middle of the room (Y/N) and Ruby's two crowds of Minions fought the Halflings while (Y/N) used his magic to keep them at bay, suddenly the doors at the end of the room were slammed open and more Halflings came running through.

Ruby quickly switched Crescent Rose into it's sniper form and started shooting at the oncoming Halflings, many of them fell down dead with fatal bullet wounds in their bodies, but several more managed to reach the fight forcing (Y/N) to use the Anger Spell to buff the Minions, the Browns started fighting harder under the Sorcerer's control while Ruby's followed in their wake getting in several blows with their weapons or fists.

After beating the last of the Rock Throwers on her side Blake looked down and saw the chaos of the battle between the Halflings and the Minions, she saw a few had gotten through the battle and were racing towards Ruby, she quickly jumped down into the fight and used her Semblance to avoid blows when they went her way, she caught up to the Halflings and used her Gambol Shroud's pistol form to take down several Halflings including a Spearman that was knocking over several of the Browns who quickly stood back up and went back into the fight, one of the Halflings was about to stab Ruby in the back with a sword when he was suddenly engulfed in flames from the Fireball (Y/N) had thrown at him, Ruby spun around to see that Halfling fall down dead and she looked to the Sorcerer and gave him a nod before shifting Crescent Rose back into it's scythe form before she slashed at the Halflings with the blade, Weiss had finished off the ranged fighters on her side and was already down in the melee fighting with grace and precision with her rapier.

Finally the battle was over and a good number of the Halflings now laid dead and vaporising into Evil Energy, the Browns dashed around collecting weapons, Armour, Gold and Life Force, however Ruby was concerned about the wounds some of them had on their bodies, most of the wounds were small cuts and bruises which the Minions barely seemed to notice.

"(Y/N), I'm worried about the Minions, they've all been hurt, we should have a rest and make sure they are okay" Ruby said as she pulled one of the more hurt Minions close to her to look at the cuts on it's arms and chest, only to see them heal in front of her eyes leaving small light brown scars where the deeper cuts were.

"No need Mistress, Minions heal rather quickly after a battle, nothing some spit and dirt won't fix" the Sorcerer said as his own Minions healed quickly from the wounds they received from the battle with the Halflings.

"Wow, do they have an Aura too?" Ruby asked as she saw all the other Minions had also healed their wounds, some were eating food that was left around while others were licking the blood off of each other, or themselves.

"No they don't, Mistress, this ability comes from being in service to an Overlord such as yourself, your power radiates from your magnificent physique and allows them to heal themselves and become stronger" (Y/N) said as he took some Gold that the Minions brought to him, Ruby blushed slightly when he said her body was magnificent feeling shy all of a sudden.

"Wait, so it's like some kind of... symbiotic relationship or something?" Blake asked.

"A what now?" Ruby asked in confusion.

"It's a relationship where two different creatures work together to benefit each other, although there are sometimes where they can become parasitic instead" Weiss said in a voice that was strangely like a teacher scolding a student.

"I guess you could say that, without a Master the Minions cannot grasp things such as tactics and survivibility, thus they would probably die more often, however under the control of an Overlord they gain many benefits, such as the healing power, survivibility in hostile areas, shiny new weapons and armour, they even rely on her as a way to breed using Life Force during times of conflict" (Y/N) said as he pulled a Mana Potion from his robes and gulped it down to restore his Mana.

"And what would Ruby get in return for helping them with all of that?" Weiss asked in a suspicious voice.

"In return for her help with survival, they do things for her, like bringing her riches, fighting and dying in her name, protecting her from harm until their last breath, that sort of thing" (Y/N) said as he stood beside Ruby with his Browns gathered around his legs, eager to get back into the fight.

"But wait a minute... if they rely solely on Ruby for survival, what about you?" Ruby asked curiously, Blake and Weiss were also curious about his role.

"Well, I guess you could say I'm the one to keep things in order as much as possible between Overlords, when an Overlord is ahem "lost", I have to step in to keep the Evil Domain as stable as possible, trouble is my will isn't as strong as that of the Overlord so I couldn't keep the other Minions around or stop the Tower Objects being stolen" (Y/N) said sadly, the Minions ears drooped on their heads and some whined sadly, like a pack of sad dogs.

"What do you mean by lost?" Weiss asked, the suspicion prominent in her voice.

"Well the title of Overlord comes with it's own set of risks, much like the title of Huntress, and sometimes those risks... catch up with you, but don't worry my Lady, I shall protect you with my life, and the lives of the Minions!" (Y/N) said with a bow aimed towards Ruby, who grew flustered when she saw him and all of his and her Minions bow too.

"O-Oh, i-i-it's nothing really! J-Just don't do anything reckless please" Ruby stuttered out in a flustered voice, her cheeks burning red beneath the metal helmet.

"Of course my Lady, shall we press on?" (Y/N) said as he stood up straight and motioned towards the door to the next part of the Burrows, Ruby nodded her head and walked with him as their Minions followed, along with Weiss and Blake.

They went down a hallway until they reached another room, with several Halflings asleep beneath two raised platforms with steps on them, sitting on top of both platforms were bouncing crates with rats inside, and two chests.

"Mistress, perhaps if you shoot those crates with your weapon, you'll release the Rats inside of those boxes, and they will fight the Halflings letting you take them out easier" (Y/N) whispered to the young girl, she nodded her head and unfurled Crescent Rose and placed the blade onto the floor before shooting at the four crates, the noise Woke up the Halflings who were quickly attacked by the Rats that came from the crates, the Halflings fought the Rats and managed to kill them when a band of fifteen Minions attacked and finished them off.

"Well done my Lady, now we should collect all the things we've found so far, like the treasure, food and that Spoke for the wheel" the Sorcerer said as he sent one of his Browns to take the Spoke back to the wheel.

"I'll let you collect the treasure, I'll take the spoke back and catch up" he said as he walked after the Minion with the spoke, as he walked he ordered his other Minions to take the baskets of food that were left on the ground and on the tables while Ruby, Weiss, Blake and her Minions looted the treasure chests and searched around the room, eventually Ruby found the wheel and turned it opening the doors below, Weiss and Blake jumped down to secure the doors while Ruby ran around to catch up with her Minions running as fast as they could to keep up with her.

RUBY'S POV

I caught up to Weiss and Blake and saw that the baskets of food from earlier were now gone, probably taken by (Y/N) and his Minions to the Waypoint Gate to be returned to the Dark Tower, I then saw one of the Minion Gates break through the dirt next to me meaning that a fight is coming, I was determined to find that last spoke so we could go deeper into the Halfling Homes and strike a blow against these cruel Halflings.

"Should we wait for (Y/N) to come back?" I asked as we stood still waiting for him to come back, however there was some yelling beyond the door and we looked to see a group of Halflings rushing towards us.

"No choice now, we've got to deal with these Halflings. Fast!" Blake said as she morphed Gambol Shroud into it's gun form and started shooting at the oncoming Halflings, Weiss also used her Dust projectiles and Ruby used Crescent Rose in it's sniper form to shoot as well, the Browns whooped and cheered as they saw the tubby Halflings fall down under the hail of gunfire, they advanced into the room and saw the Halflings were coming from five Halfling Holes that were on the walls, and across from the ledge they were standing on was the missing spoke for the wheel.

"I can see the missing spoke! Over there!" Ruby called out as she pointed across towards the object.

"Okay, we've got to find a way to reach that spoke" Blake said as she jumped over another Halfling and slashed him with her katana.

"But we can't risk someone going out there with all these Halflings rushing from those holes!" Weiss said as she froze several Halflings in ice before she shattered them with strikes from her rapier.

"Then we need to block those holes!" Ruby said as she slashed another Halfling then shot another one as they rushed at her, she looked back and saw her Minions perk up under her gaze.

"Okay guys, CHARGE!" Ruby called out in what seemed like an unearthly voice coming from within the helmet she wore, the Browns rushed past her legs towards the battle whooping and cheering as they waved their weapons in the air as they rushed through the battlefield killing and attacking the Halflings as the group went to the left and ran inside one of the houses, the sound of crashing and smashing came from the hole before smoke started to come from the hole, showing that the Minions had blocked it off.

"Keep going! Plug up all of the holes!" I said as I used my hand to direct them towards a pair of holes on the far right, however they were getting bogged down by the Halflings that rushed out of the holes and attacked them, I quickly slammed Crescent Rose into the ground and shot at the Halflings to give my Minions some cover as they rushed up and went into another hole, they quickly sealed it up and rushed to the hole beside it also smashing up the insides and making smoke come out, I saw that the number of Halflings was getting smaller and smaller with every hole sealed and that there was only the two in the middle left.

However I saw a group of Haflings gathering on the steps towards those holes, so I called my Minions back to regroup before I looked over the area and tried to think of a way to win the fight, I then thought up a plan to deal with the Halflings.

"Checkmate!" I called out, Weiss and Blake quickly attacked the Halflings, with Weiss powering Blake up with different kinds of dust while she sliced and stabbed the Halflings, while this happened I used the Fireball Spell that I learned from (Y/N) to help take a few of them out, after a while the Halflings had thinned out enough for the Minions to rush in and trash the other Halfling holes, stopping any more from coming out and attacking us.

The Minions finished off the last few Halflings and finally the room was cleared, I looked to see the Minions rushing around picking up the Gold and Life Force that the Halflings dropped when they died, as well as any new weapons, armour or things to put on their heads.

"Well that's sorted out at least, there were definately a lot of them that time" Weiss said as she put her Myrtenaster back on her hip.

"There were a lot of holes here, maybe this was a main living area?" Blake said as she placed her Gambol Shroud on her back.

"Let's get that spoke back to the wheel and move on, before anything else happens" Weiss said as she and Blake walked over to me, I sent one of the Minions to grab the spoke and carry it towards the wheel, I turned to walk back when I saw (Y/N) leaning against the doorway with a smile on his face.

"Excellent work my Lady, you and your friends dealt with the Halflings quite well, although I do have to ask that you refrain from going into such risky battles without me there, wouldn't want to have any accidents after all" he said as he walked over and stood in front of me, with his Browns behind him giggling and interacting with my own Minion horde.

"Sorry (Y/N)..." I said, I hated how worried he seemed to be about me, I felt guilty about making him feel like that but I was also a little annoyed because I was skilled enough to be accepted into the best schools for Huntsmen and Huntresses!

"But those Halflings attacked us, we had to defend ourselves" Weiss said as she indicated the five smoking Halfling Holes behind us.

"Oh I have no doubts about that, and you did a good job fighting the little blighters" (Y/N) said to us, I felt a little relieved that he wasn't mad.

"You know, she was skilled enough to be accepted into Beacon, I'm sure she'll be able to handle herself (Y/N)..." Blake said to the Sorcerer.

"I have no doubts that she can handle herself Blake, I just want to make sure she doesn't get taken out before she can get started with her domination" he said as he turned and walked away back to where the wheel was located, I saw that the Minion that was carrying the spoke was quite a bit ahead of us now so we all walked back towards the doorway, when we arrived the wheel was finally fixed.

"Good, now you'll need twelve Minions to turn the wheel Mistress" (Y/N) said with a grin, I raised my hand and sent exactly twelve Minions to the wheel, three Minions went to each spoke and they pushed the wheel making the doors slowly slide open.

"Do you think there will be a lot more in there?" I asked (Y/N) as I watched the doors open.

"Hard to say my Lady, I believe most of the Halflings are on the surface at that party, but there's always a chance there will be a lot more beyond these doors, so I'd suggest you be prepared for a tough fight" (Y/N) said in a serious voice as he watched the doors for movement.

"I'm sure it'll be fine, I mean, we've come this far, how hard can it be?" I said as the doors clicked open and stayed open.

"That depends on what we find down this tunnel..." Blake said as she walked ahead followed by Weiss who was looking at Blake quite a lot.

"Well then, time to see what we have beyond!" I said as I grabbed (Y/N)'s hand and pulled him along with me into the tunnel, I could hear the Minions following after us into the darkness of the Halfling Homes.

(Y/N)'S POV

After a walk through the dark halls we arrived deeper into the Halfling Homes, I wasn't too sure what part we had arrived in, we walked into the homes creating a Waypoint Gate as we passed and a Brown Minion Gate to our left, as well as the Browns rushing off and smashing up barrels and crates gathering equipment for themselves and bags of gold or Mana Potions for Ruby, we passed through the open doorway into a very large room, I quickly stopped everyone before they went to close to the steps leading into the room.

Down below us was a massive gathering of Halflings! All of them were sitting around several tables eating lots and lots of food, and there were human servents walking around them looking very scared as they gave the Halflings their food.

"Hmmm, it seems we've found the nest my Lady" I said as we all looked at all the Halflings below, there were easily fifty of them in this one room!

"There's so many of them here!" Weiss exclaimed, I quickly grabbed her and covered her mouth making her muffle protests into my have as I pulled her against me.

"Careful! Don't be so loud! We don't want to alarm them all at once, otherwise they'll have our minions upside down in a pot before you know it, along with us if we're not careful!" I whisper yelled, Weiss nodded her head before I released her mouth, she gave me a glare before huffing and looking away from me.

"So what's the plan?" Blake asked as she looked at the crowd of Halflings below us, I looked to Ruby and saw her looking at the room, trying to think up a plan.

"What about those other rooms? What's in those?" she asked as she looked from left to right, the Browns watching her ready to received orders.

"One seems to be a kitchen, where they are making some of the food for this feast, and the other seems to be another dining room, my Lady" I answered, however chances are there are probably a lot more in both rooms.

"I have a plan, Blake you and I will go to the Kitchens and clear out some of the Halflings inside, while we're doing that (Y/N), I want you and Weiss to go the other way and clear out the Halflings there, then we'll attack the ones in here from both sides with both Minion hordes" Ruby said, I was impressed at how quickly she came up with this plan, however Weiss didn't agree about a certain something.

"Why do I have to be partnered up with this dolt!?" she asked in a whisper yell.

"Because we need both Minion hordes to attack from each side, it won't be good if we send the Minions from one side and two people on the other, we'll be overwhelmed" Ruby said.

"Let's just get started, if we stay here too long they are bound to notice us arguing" I said, grabbing Weiss by the back of her coat and dragging her away with me towards the dining area, with my Browns following after us.

"But, but, but!" she said reaching out to Ruby, Blake and Ruby's Minions, who turned and went to their own part of the mission.

We finally arrived in the smaller dining area, we were on a floor above the Halflings below who were greedily stuffing their faces full of food, Weiss made a disgusted sound as we made our way around the floor, I looked up and saw four Halfling Holes in the walls.

"Okay, I'm going to send the Minions into those Halfling Holes to plug them up, keep an eye out in case we get noticed" I said, Weiss nodded her head and got into her stance just in case any Halflings come up behind us, I then sent my Browns rushing into the first hole smashing what's inside and making smoke come from within, the Minions rushed out and piled into the next hole just as the light dinged on, however as they were destroying that hole the other two lit up and Halfling Rock Throwers rushed out, and unfortunately some of the Halflings below came rushing up to attack us.

"Damn primitives, Weiss deal with them quickly!" I said as the Minions came back out of the hole and rushed to my side.

"Got it!" Weiss called back as she twirled her rapier before stabbing it into the ground, making ice erupt from the ground and block the Halflings from coming up behind us, I could hear the tubby devils shouting angrily from the other side of the wall of ice as well as them hitting the ice to try and break it, so now they could only approach from the ramp in front of us.

"Well done, Ice Queen" I said to myself as I buffed the Minions with the Anger Spell and had the charge off to attack the Halflings, they fought the Halfling swordsmen and were easily beating them down, meanwhile I had to save my Mana to power the Anger Spell while Weiss had my back.

"Fight harder Minions! Make Mistress Ruby proud!" I called out as the Minions fought ferociously.

"Why aren't you fighting?!" Weiss said angrily.

"I don't have a weapon, and my Mana is being used to maintain the Anger Spell on the Browns!" I said back, I looked back and saw that the Browns had killed off most of the Halflings leaving only a few left, I quickly took control of the Minions and sent them into the closest Halfling Hole closing it up before more Halflings come out.

"Alright, only one more left!" Weiss said as she stabbed a Halfling in the chest before slashing at three more, then she stabbed the blade into the earth making large spikes made of ice erupt from the ground, killing or wounding several Halflings, I quickly sent the Halflings into the final Halfling Hole sealing it up and stopping any reinforcements from arriving.

"And we're done!" I said triumphantly as the last Halfling fell to the ground dead, several wounds caused by Minions in his short, pudgy body.

"Good, now all we have to do is wait for Ruby and Blake to do their end if this plan" Weiss said as she smiled at me happily, I looked over towards the main dining room, the Halflings inside still eating their stolen food and abusing the peasant women they had abducted to serve them food, it wouldn't be long now.

Suddenly I saw Ruby, Blake and the Browns at the top of the steps, she gave us a thumbs up before sending in her Minions, knowing this would be costly without backup I jumped down to the floor below, Weiss jumped over and landed beside me and the Browns rushed down and gathered around me before I sent them ahead to aid Ruby.

AT THE SAME TIME AS (Y/N) AND WEISS'S FIGHT, RUBY'S POV

Blake and I walked away towards the kitchen to the right hand side of the massive dining room, we walked inside and I saw a Halfling Hole across the room on a ledge, and below us was a small group of twelve Halflings roasting rats over a cooking fire, along with many different types of food, my mouth was watering and the delicious smell.

"Ruby, are you alright?" I heard Blake ask beside me, I snapped out of my hunger filled fantasy and looked to her and the Browns.

"Oh, Uh, Yeah! Totally fine" I said as I looked around the room to come up with a plan, with all the Halflings below it would be a bad idea to attack head on, plus we might catch the attention of the Halflings in the main dining room.

"Hey Ruby, are those more of those Rat crates over there?" Blake asked pointing across the room, I looked and saw the tell-tale jumping crates, I smiled as I came up with a way to make our main plan even better!

"Okay, I just got an idea! Blake, I'll send the Minions to plug up that Halfling Hole over there, while they do that you and I will let those Rats out of those crates, they'll rush to attack the Halflings below then we can deal with any that are left over" I said happily, Blake looked to be in though before she nodded her head at the idea, I smiled and unfurled Crescent Rose setting it up in sniper position to shoot the crates and release the Rats.

"Okay Minions, charge!" I ordered, the browns rushed to the wooden scaffolds and broke the three Rat Crates in their way, unleashing a small swarm of Rats while Blake and I shot at the crates across from us, releasing the rest quickly.

"The light for the Halfling Hole flashed on and a Halfling rushed out, only to be attacked by my Browns and easily defeated, the Minions then rushed into the hole and sealed it up when they came out they started smashing plates and tables seemingly just for fun, as I recalled the Browns to us I looked down and saw the Rats swarming the Halflings, out of the dozen that were down there only two were left, it was time to do the rest of the plan!

"Come on Blake, it's time to finish this fight!" I called out as the browns finished crowding around us.

"But what about the Halflings below, shouldn't we deal with them first?" she asked as she followed after me.

"It's okay, the rats are doing that, if we attack from the stairs while (Y/N), Weiss and his Minions attack from the left, we can catch them in a three way fight and clobber them!" I said excitedly, I loved having a plan come together!

"I see, then let's do it" she said as we finally reached the top of the steps, I looked to the left to see (Y/N) and Weiss looking at us, I gave them a thumbs up and had my Browns charge the Halflings just as the swarm of Rats poured from the kitchen and attacked the Halflings closest to the kitchen, drawing some of them away from us and evening the battle, my Minions attacked the Halflings with Blake and I helping them, to my horro I saw the Halflings attack the girls they had taken as slaves, I had to get to them fast!

Suddenly I saw (Y/N)'s Minions rush from the small dining room and join the attack, forcing the Halflings away from the girls who took the chance to run away out of the Homes, I saw (Y/N) and Weiss come after the Minions and join the fight, I saw (Y/N) drink down one of those Mana Potions before he started hurling Fireballs at the Halflings, setting several of them on fire and screaming as the burned.

"Ruby! Just what do you think your doing!?" Weiss called out as she stabbed the ground with her rapier, creating red coloured Glyphs around the Halflings and causing explosions in the more crowded areas of the fight.

"I'm dealing with the Halflings!" I called back as I jumped into the air slicing some of the Halflings with Crescent Rose, I saw their bodies hit the ground before they turned into the Evil Energy stuff (Y/N) mentioned during our first mission here.

"Are you crazy taking on this many?! The Minions'll get overwhelmed!" Weiss said angrily, I saw a Halfling about to stab her but was suddenly hit by a Fireball from (Y/N), I looked to see him cast that Anger Spell again making his Minion Horde fight much harder, despite their wounds.

"Don't worry Weiss, Ruby has it covered" Blake said as she pointed towards the kitchen, Weiss and I looked over to see a few dead Halflings and a few dozen Rats still fighting, distracting the Halflings while we fought them with our Minions.

"Oh... well, never mind then!" Weiss said as she used her Glyphs to move between Halflings stabbing and slashing as she moved, after a while the last of the Rats fell dow dead, but we had managed to destroy the majority of these Halflings.

"I'm out of Mana, I'll have to stay back for now!" I heard (Y/N) call out, I nodded my head towards him and continued to fight with my baby, while Weiss and Blake also fought hard, along with the thirty Minions that (Y/N) and I had following us, finally the last few Halflings were dead leaving all of us in an empty room.

"Alright! That's a lot of Halflings cleared out! Now let's go see what's behind these doors" I said before my stomach made a loud gurgling noise!

"I think it might be best to have some lunch before we move on, can't have you fighting on an empty stomach now, can we Mistress?" (Y/N) said, I felt my face heat up underneath my metal helmet, thankfully hiding my embarrassment from that suddenly happening.

"Y-Yeah, I guess your right..." I said as I walked over to a table and sat down at the table, Weiss sat beside me to my left while Blake sat opposite to use, then I heard a lot of crashing and smashing, I looked up to see the Minions smashing plates and eating the food on the tables and the floor.

"Well, looks like they were hungry too" Blake said as she watched the Minions run around eating food and breaking things, a pair of Minions jumped onto the table we were sat at at, one Minion who was wearing a skinned Rat on his head was trapped in a headlock by one wearing a metal helmet, then he suddenly started to grab plates from our table and smash them over the Rat headed ones head, laughing manically.

"Ruby! Do something!!" Weiss said as she shielded her face from the broken plate shards with her arms.

"R-Right! Hey, stop it! Behave yourselves!" I said in a commanding voice, the two Minions stopped and hopped off the table running off giggling to each other, then I looked around trying to figure out where (Y/N) was.

"Hey, where's (Y/N)?" I asked, Weiss and Blake looked around for him, but my question was answered when he walked back into the dining room with five of his Browns carrying different kinds of roasted meat, including a chicken and some fish.

"Alright! This should be enough for you and the others to eat Mistress" (Y/N) said as he had the Minions set the massive amount of cooked meat on our table, I saw a few Chicken legs and a couple cooked fish, which Blake was looking at like it was the best thing in the world.

"Wow, these look awesome!" I said happily as I started eating, I know this isn't exactly cookies and milk but it still tasted pretty good!

"Well, if there's one redeeming quality that the Halflings have, it's their taste in food, especially under Melvin Underbelly's rule" (Y/N) said as he too started eating, this was pretty nice to sit down and eat, if only we oculd do this back in the Tower, then it'd be perfect!

(Maybe I could ask about a dining room, maybe have one of these Halflings as a cook?) I though to myself as I swallowed down a mouthful of Chicken, I looked and saw that Weiss and Blake were also really enjoying this food, after a while we finished the food and had the Minions open the doors, only to find, another kitchen?

"Another Kitchen? Just how many of these do the Halflings need?" Blake asked as she looked around at all of the baskets of vegetables sat on the tables and floor, waiting to be eaten.

"You'd be surprised how much halflings can eat, their greed makes them especially voracious" (Y/N) explained, a sudden shout came from nearby and I looked and saw what looked like a very big Halfling dressed as a cook, holding a big meat cleaver walk towards us angrily, however he was stopped when two Fireballs hit him in the body and face setting him on fire before the Minions swarmed him and killed him, one of the Minions took his chef's hat and cleaver for himself.

"Be careful Mistress, we're on the last stretch, we cannot afford to lose now" (Y/N) said in a serious voice, we continued on until we reached a very big kitchen with several cooking pots boiling, and surrounded with Rat Crates, and right in the middle was a group of Cooks.

"Use the rats again Mistress, let them weaken or kill these Halflings and swoop in to finish them off!" (Y/N) said, I nodded and quickly shot the crates in the room sending a tide of Rats over the Cooks, the rats were eventually killed off but the Cooks were really hurt, so (Y/N) used his Minions to finish them off and clear the way for us, as we walked through the kitchens towards the place the Cooks were, gathering Gold and Mana potions for (Y/N) as we went.

Finally we arrived at a small storage room, with lots of vases, baskets and boxes inside, and a big pile of food, I saw (Y/N) look over at the food and smile to himself.

"There's the food the Halflings stole from that village, use your Minions to move it, Mistress!" (Y/N) said, I was really happy to find the Villages food! I commanded my Minions to pick it up, six of them lifted up the food while four more opened the door, as well carried the food out of the room I saw some of the villagers waiting for us?

"Hey look, it's some of the villagers" I said, (Y/N) looked over to them and his eyes narrowed, while Weiss and Blake looked confused.

"How did they get down here?" Weiss asked.

"I don't know, maybe they followed after us?" Blake said, we got closer and they took notice of us and the big pile of food my Browns had.

"Oh, you've found it! Oh, the village is saved, Thank you my Lady!" said one of the men from the village, with a big grin on his face.

"If you could just place the food over here my Lady, we shall take it up to the village" said another man who walked next to a platform, where he asked us to leave the food, before I could answer (Y/N) tapped my shoulder and motioned for me to walk a little away from them, I followed after him and we stopped to talk.

"That food would provide you with a substantial amount of Life Force, Mistress" he said as he looked at the food, I didn't know that we could convert food into Life Force!

"You could leave them the food, just walk next to the platform and let your Minions leave the food supply on it" he told me, pointing towards the platform.

"Or, if your feeling particularly EVIL, why not juuust... KEEP IT?" he said in a very dark voice.

"That is, if we dispose of the... ahem, witnesses!" he said in a very evil sounding voice, I stepped back from him in shock, did he really expect me to do such a thing? To take a villages food for myself? I couldn't do that, could I...?
