"Aaaaah!!! What the heck just happened?! How did I go into a Minion's body? How the heck am I going to explain this to Yang and Weiss?!" Ruby exclaimed as she ran around in circles, like a chicken with it's head cut off.

"Oh, how unseemly... I hope no one's looking right now" (Y/N) said as he was quickly looking around the cavern, wanting to make sure no one saw his Mistress in such a state, while Ruby/Prince was dashing around the area in a panic, babbling to herself about how she would explain to her dad about this situation.

"Is that really the the issue right now?" Blake said to him with a blank look on her face, grabbing Ruby/Prince by the collar of their clothing, their little legs kicking as they ran in the air until they finally stopped.

"Right, yes, well... it would seem the Shard of Netherworld Rock transported the Mistress's soul or mind into the body of the Minion" (Y/N) said as he went to examine the Netherworld Rock, and also Ruby's currently vacant body as it floated in front of the rock with Magical power.

"Woah... th-that's my body!" Ruby/Prince exclaimed as Blake set them back down again, they then ran over and looked at themself with interest, though the silver eyed Minion was a little unnerved by how strange this experience was.

"Is there a way to fix this? I don't think Yang will be happy if her little sister is stuck as a Minion forever, (Y/N)" Blake said to him as she walked over and also looked at Ruby's floating body, the Cat Faunas was still a little spooked by the fact that magic was real and that her young former team leader could wield it now.

"Calm down, my lady, you need not be worried, I'm certain you can return to your body if you wished too" (Y/N) said to both Blake and the Minion Ruby was inhabiting, believing that since it was Netherworld Magic that had caused this then that must also mean that since Ruby was it's master, she could undo it just as easily.

"Right, right... relax Ruby...relax" Ruby/Prince said to herself as they took a couple breaths, the possessed Minion closed their now-Silver eyes and concentrated on trying to return to her own body.

Blake and (Y/N) watched and waited for a minute or two, when they saw a slight flash in the Minion's closed eyes, Prince then opened their eyes and they both saw that they had gone back to their normal, yellow glow, Ruby's body then stopped floating and she landed on her feet with a light thud.

"Oooh thank goodness... I was worried I was going to be stuck in his body for good!" Ruby said in relief as she checked that she was really back in her own body, patting herself and touching her helmet too.

"That was a real surprise, Mistress, what peculiar magic..." (Y/N) said, seeming fascinated by how this magic could allow their Mistress to take direct control over one of the Minions she has summoned.

"Still, this could be a useful asset to your plans, Mistress, Minions are smaller and can reach places that you can't, and with this you can directly control what the Minions do when you sent them off" (Y/N) said to her with a smile, fascinated by this new ability, while it was a bit unseemly and would also be embarrassing if someone saw his Mistress like that, he couldn't deny that this would be a very useful ability for Ruby.

"Alright, but we should probably get moving now? Those people will get away with that rock if we keep standing around here" Blake pointed out to the Male Sorcerer and her former Team Leader.

"Right, we have to go after them!" (Y/N) and Ruby both said at the same time, before they hurried off down the path after those people, (Y/N) was fully intent on taking that Spell Stone for Ruby, so she could master new magic spells.

They hurried on through the cave and soon, they emerged into a snowy mountain passage with pine trees, they also saw the people that had taken the Spell Stone, but, it seems that something had managed to kill them all.

"What the heck?" Ruby wondered as she looked at the dead guys on the ground, for some reason, Ruby... didn't feel much about these people being dead.

"Mistress, over there!" (Y/N) said as he pointed to the Spell Stone that they were after, but, it was surrounded by strange little things, then some of them scurried over and angrily squeaked at the three of them and the gathered Minions.

"Uhhh.... what?" Ruby asked, very confused by these little things and their angry-sounding squeak-speech.

"Huh, these are Gnomes my Lady, and they seem rather upset" (Y/N) said with a look of annoyance on his face at the squeaking ankle biters, who were bouncing around in the snow and shaking their little fists at the three and the assembled Minions.

"You can understand what they are saying?" Blake asked him with a look of confusion, how the heck did he make any sense of all that squeaking? The Gnomes then squeaked more, still sounding angry.

"He says that Spell Stone we stole, belongs to them" (Y/N) translated for them as he rubbed at his ear, looking annoyed by the squeaking.

"That we stole? But, we didn't take it!" Ruby said with worry as she looked at her Advisor and the pack of little Brown hatted Gnomes, she didn't want them thinking she was a thief after all.

"Er... now... he's either declaring war on you... or he wants to marry you to his pet Dormouse" (Y/N) said to her, a little lost in the translation, making both Ruby and Blake sweat-drop at what he said, when one of the Gnomes ran at Ruby and kicked her armoured boot hard, then started hopping around on one foot squeaking angrily in pain while holding his injured foot.

"That's clearly an act of aggression, mistress! That cannot be tolerated, exterminate those squeakers!" (Y/N) exclaimed as he pointed at the angry Gnome which was still hopping around in the snow, squeaking in pain.

"Is that really necessary? I mean... just look at them, they are a bit too small to be an actual threat to anyone" Blake said to him with a frown on her face, looking at him with disapproval.

"Yet, they were strong enough to take down these Humans" (Y/N) said to her pointedly as he pointed back at the dead Empire Soldiers laying on the ground close by, when suddenly the Gnomes rushed at them and started attacking them.

"Gah! Hey! Get out of my combat skirt you little pervert!!" Ruby shouted with a bright red face as she was swatting at the Gnomes, one of them having zipped up her skirt, Blake was jumping on one foot as another Gnome was biting her ankle and others were tangled up in her long Black hair and (Y/N) was distracted by the annoying things kicking at his shins, or throwing snow at him.

"That does it, Minions!" Ruby shouted, sounding annoyed, the Browns quickly answered her call and attacked the Gnomes, easily killing the pests and making them drop both their little pointy hats and a Life Force Orb each, which the Browns quickly picked up and gave to Ruby.

"Well... those things were certainly a lot more annoying than I expected" Blake said as she was sat in the snow rubbing at her sore ankle, her hair a dishevelled mess.

"I told you so" (Y/N) said to her as he was wiping snow out of his face, a look of utter annoyance on his face as he also shook snow off and out of his Robes.

"Well... if they're just going to be like that to us anyway, then we may as well keep that Spell Stone!" Ruby said firmly, her face red under her helmet from anger and embarrassment.

"That's the spirit, Mistress!" (Y/N) said with a grin as he shook the snow out of his hood, Ruby then ordered her Minions to pick up the Spell Stone, and they began to walk along the snowy path together, searching to a Waypoint Gate to send this thing back to the Netherworld.

They made their way up a slight incline and reached a cliff that overlooked a town below, the town was made of a large group of wooden structures that were covered in snow, there were also stone walls and roads and the group saw that all of the people were dressed in thick coats, clothing to keep them warm in the snowy climate.

"Ooh, this place looks nice, it's like something I saw on a Christmas card!" Ruby said with a bright smile, her Silver eyes twinkling slightly under her helmet as she looked at the snowy little town below them.

"What's Christmas, Mistress?" (Y/N) asked Ruby, sounding very confused by this things they had just mentioned, the Sorcerer's question made Ruby's jaw drop and her eyes widen with a look of shock and horror on her face.

"Somehow, this doesn't surprise me..." Blake said as she sweat-dropped, looking at their Sorcerer in disbelief but also believing that he wouldn't know what Christmas was.

Ruby had to keep herself from exploding from the disbelief of the situation, she'd never heard of someone in all of Remnant who had not celebrated Christmas, but, she decided to leave it alone for now and talk with him more when they return to the Nether World.

They then continued making their way along the snowy paths until they stopped at the front entrance to the town, where they saw several people in armour had gathered, armed with swords and shields and wearing Uniform that didn't fit in with the winter asthetic at all.

"get in formation lads! Keep it together!" said a man wearing heavy armour who was stood by the gate to the town, along with a group of men holding guns and bows.

"Looks like there might be a little chaos, Mistress!" (Y/N) said as he prepared his own magic to combat the Soldiers, Ruby unfurled Crescent Rose and Blake prepared Gambol Shroud, the Minions and jeering and preparing for battle too!
