THIRD PERSON'S POV

Once upon a time, in a dark world known as Remnant, there lived a small group of hunters and huntresses who spent their days going to classes and fighting Grimm, as well as the machinations of a certain group on villains.

One of these young warriors was a 15 year old girl by the name of... Ruby Rose.

Her dream was to become a hero huntress, to protect people and make the world better like the stories she had always heard, she had been accepted into Beacon two years earlier than average after thwarting a robbery and meeting the headmaster, who took note of her silver eyes.

She was relieved to know that her big sister Yang Xiao Long would be attending with her, she also met her friends and teammates Blake Belladonna and Weiss Schnee, also making friends with team JNPR among others.

Her and her team had been sent by Ozpin to investigate White Fang activity around a series of caves, they had just arrived via Bullhead and got off to investigate.

RUBY'S POV

Me and my team walked into the caves, trying our best to make no noise as we tried to find the white fang.

Blake took the lead since she was a Faunas and could see in the dark, we all linked arms and walked into the cave system.

"So Blake, why would the white fang come here?" Weiss asked, I heard an annoyed sigh come from Blake.

"I don't know Weiss, I'm not exactly privy to their activities anymore, remember?" Blake responded, with a tone of annoyance in her voice.

We walked into the cave when suddenly we got separated, I wandered around alone for a while trying to find the others, suddenly I heard something moving around me.

"H-Hello?" I called out nervously.

I heard more movement around me, it sounded like claws and giggling?

Suddenly I saw a pair of bright yellow eyes looking at me, and below it a set of pointed teeth.

I unfurled crescent rose and got ready to fight the creature, however it just stood there looking at me curiously, I could only see it's glowing yellow eyes.

Suddenly the creature ran away, I felt like I had to follow it I put Crescent rose away and ran after the strange creature, I had some trouble keeping up with it in the dark but it seemed to wait for me if the gap got too wide, until finally I saw a lit up chamber ahead.

I looked around but the creature was gone, I looked around the chamber and saw a big, ruined staircase and started to walk up, when I reached the top I saw a ruined alter and sitting on a pedestal was a cool looking helmet.

"Woah... That helmet looks so cool!" I said as I walked towards it.

It was surprisingly shiny and it had a crown of huge spikes on top, the visor looked very menacing but cool at the same time.

"I wonder how I'd look with a helmet like that?" I said to myself.

I looked around and didn't see anyone else, I really wanted to try it on.

"Oh, why not? I mean it's not going to hurt me right?" I said, reaching forwards and taking the helmet into my hands.

It felt surprisingly light, and despite it being made of metal it wasn't cold it actually felt quite warm, I slowly raised the helmet up above my head and carefully slipped it over my head.

It completely covered my hair, only my eyes, nose and mouth were visible through the helmet.

"Okay, I gotta admit, I kinda feel like a bad ass in this helmet!" I said striking a pose, suddenly I remember the mission and go to find my team.

"Oh! wait, I should probably take this off first..." I said reaching up to pull the helmet off.

I got a hold of the sides and pulled, however the helmet didn't seem to want to move, I tried to pull it off again and again but it still didn't come off!

"Why won't it come off?!" I exclaimed,still desperately trying to get the helmet off.

Suddenly I heard something moving close by, I looked over and saw a strange imp-like creature with brown skin staring at me, it had the same glowing eyes I saw before in the tunnel.

The creature ran closer to me and I got a better look at it, it was dressed in rusty metal armour, holding a club in it's clawed hand, it had large yellow eyes and long, pointed, flappy ears, it walked up to me and smiled showing it's pointed teeth.

"Master? Master, MASTER!" the creature yelled, jumping around excitedly.

Suddenly four more came from the shadows and stood before me with looks of awe and happiness, I was very confused I didn't feel like they meant me any harm, if anything they all seemed kind of cute.

I leaned down and scratched behind the first one's ear, his tongue lolled from his mouth and a wide smile came to it's face, suddenly the others started fighting and arguing about the attention he was getting.

"H-Hey stop! No fighting!" I said trying to pull the pile of creatures apart, they all froze in mid strike and looked at me, suddenly they all laughed and crowded around me hugging me and asking to be scratched too.

I giggled at them and gave them all some attention, they all let out happy sighs from my touch, comical expressions on their faces.

"So, what are you little guys?" I asked.

"They are your Minions..." came a voice behind me.

(Y/N)'S POV

I appeared behind our new scion of evil my (F/C) robes flapping in the breeze made by my entrance, she whirled around with a startled yelp, she then fixed me with her silver eyes as the browns behind her looked on in amusement.

I walked forwards and circled the young girl with interest.

She was quite young, she had a red and black outfit on with a skirt and a strange weapon on her back, her hair was a creeping out from under the helmet, it was black with red highlights, her silver eyes following me as I inspected her.

"Hmmm... so this is the new Overlord? Your a little short... but it just might work!" I said with glee.

"Who are you?!" the girl asked, holding a hand to her heart.

"I, am (Y/N), Minion Master and your devoted servant my lady" I said with a sweeping bow.

"Uhhhh... okay... thanks, I guess?" she said sounding confused.

"Your confused, allow me to explain, my lady" I said, moving beside the five minions gathered before her.

"Please call me Ruby" She said.

"Ruby... catchy name, however I cannot call you by your name my lady, it wouldn't be proper to address our new Master so casually!" I said.

"It's Fine, really! But could you please explain what's going on!" she exclaimed.

"Very well Master, as I said I am your Minion Master and devoted servant (Y/N), it is my job to advise you as you establish your dark domain!" I said proudly.

"And these... are your loyal Minions!" I said picking one of the Browns up under the arms, it looked at Ruby with a mischievous smile.

"You will become our new Dark Lord, at least you will as soon as the Nether World accepts you as it's Master" I finished, she still looked confused.

"Wait, hold on... Nether World... Minions... dark domain? this is all very confusing, but I've got to go find my friends! They might be in trouble!" Ruby exclaimed.

"Your friends?" I asked.

"Yeah, a tall blonde girl, a girl in black with a bow and a girl in white, they are my teammate's and my friends, I've got to find them" she said as she walked past to leave.

"Then allow us to help!" I said.

"How can you help?" Ruby asked.

"Your Minions can assist you in a battle, and I am a skilled Sorcerer! Let us assist you in crushing your enemies Master!" I said.

"Okay, fine whatever let's hurry!" Ruby said.

"Call forth your Minion's Master!" I said.

"Uhm... how?" Ruby asked.

"Just concentrate, and raise your arm up high, your Minions will answer your call" I told her.

she stepped forwards and raised her arm above her head, I heard the mental calling tug on my mind and saw more of the Minion army come to her, she looked around surprised to find 15 Minions surrounding her awaiting orders.

I strode up beside her and looked at her with a smile, she smiled back before turning to her new army.

"Okay uh, Minions! Go find my friends!" Ruby said pointing towards the tunnel, the Minions turned and pelted off whooping and hollering to obey their Masters order, Ruby looked on stunned as they sped off.

"Wow, they're... enthusiastic" Ruby said stunned.

"Your Minions will dutifully perform any task you assign to them, my lady, all you have to do is say so" I said.

"And what about you?" she asked, looking at me with wide cute eyes, I felt my face heat up from the look.

"Well... as your faithful adviser and Minion Master, it wouldn't do for me to not assist you in a fight. Let's go Master!" I said, trying to make the redness on my face less visible.

"Okay!" She said, we then ran into the tunnel together following the Minions.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Ruby and (Y/N) the dark sorcerer walk through the tunnels, (Y/N) has his hands behind his back casually walking with no fears, Ruby was looking around anxiously for her team, deciding to try to ease his new masters fears the sorcerer turned to talk to her.

"Have no fear my Dark Lady, I'm sure that your Minions shall locate your friends post haste" (Y/N) said.

"Y-Yeah, I'm sure your right (Y/N)..." Ruby said still sounding worried.

You continued to walk on in silence until you came across a creature of Grimm, specifically a Creep.

It sensed you two and ran to attack you, Ruby quickly leapt into action slicing the creature in half with a single blow!

"A master stroke, oh Master of the Shadows" (Y/N) said with approval.

Ruby smiled at the praise her heart racing a little, when she notices several bright glowing orbs float from the evaporating Grimm.

"Uh, (Y/N) what's that?" she asked pointing towards the floating, brown orbs of light.

"That is Life Force Master, it accumulates in living creatures and is necessary to spawning new Minions" (Y/N) explained.

"Well how come I haven't seen it until now?" Ruby asked, still looking at the glowing orbs.

"It's the helmet my lady, since you have donned it you are now capable of seeing things regular humans cannot, such as the Life Force before you... why don't you try to touch it?" (Y/n) said.

Ruby looked slightly hesitant but moved her hand forwards, as her fingers came into contact with the glowing Life Force it was absorbed into her skin, she felt a small rush of energy pass through her body before it dissipated.

"Wow! that felt amazing!" Ruby said, trembling in excitement.

"Heheh your quite the excitable one aren't you Master?" (Y/N) said with a small chuckle.

She let out a nervous laugh a blush coming to her face, she tries to scratch her head only to remember the helmet that was covering her entire head, so instead she played with her red cloak.

"S-So... (Y/N), where do you come from?" Ruby asked, hoping to get to know her new friend a little.

"I am from the Nether World, my lady, same as your Minions although we live in different areas, They all live in the Minion Burrows, whereas I live in the Dark Tower" (Y/N) said with pride.

"What is the Dark Tower like?" Ruby asked curiously.

"You will know soon Master, after all you'll be coming with us after we rescue your companions" (Y/N) said, as he moved on.

"Oh that's ni- Wait, what!?" Ruby spluttered in surprise.

"Yes. As out new Overlord, you will be living in the Dark Tower, with us" (Y/N) said as though it was obvious.

Before she could argue with her new companion one of the Minions returned, it stopped in front of Ruby hopping around excitedly.

"I think he's trying to tell you that they have found your friends" (Y/N) says.

The Minion nods it's head furiously, it's ears flapping around frantically.

"Then we'd better go! Show us the way!" Ruby ordered, the Minion took off running down the cave, (Y/N) suddenly took Ruby's hand causing her to break out in a blush.

"W-What...?" Ruby asked, her voice getting very shaky from her racing heart.

"Come Master, we've got to keep up with the little blighter!" (Y/N) said as he dragged her along before she got her pace even with his, a small smile tugged at her lips as they ran hand in hand through the dark tunnels.

Eventually they came across a large group of White Fang soldiers, however Ruby gasped in horror when she saw her three teammates tied up in the middle of the camp, they were bound to three poles the ropes drawn tight over them, Weiss and Blake were both unconscious while Yang was struggling to break her binds.

"Yang! We've got to help them!" Ruby said unfurling Crescent Rose.

"Then by all means master, command us" (Y/N) said with a wicked grin on his face.

YANG'S POV

I squirmed against the ropes holding me in place but the didn't loosen, if anything they seemed to get tighter, I looked around and saw Weiss and Blake were passed out still.

"Let me go, you frickin' jerks! where's my sister?!!" I yelled loudly.

"Quiet, you filthy human!" yelled one of the guards.

I continued to struggle but the ropes didn't give at all, even when I tried to activate my semblance to try burn the ropes off, however my semblance wouldn't activate.

I was completely trapped, when one of the guards a faunas with cat ears came up to me.

"Struggle all you want human, you will not escape us. You, the traitor and the Schnee brat will be executed, to set an example for those who get in our way" he said menacingly.

"And when we manage to find that sister of your's... we'll make sure we have some fun with her before we send her to meet you in hell!" he said, I instantly erupted in rage.

"NOBODY THREATENS MY SISTER!!" I screamed, flames burning some of the ropes, but before it burned all the way through I was hit in the head with the gun.

My head was ringing and I felt dizzy, probably a concussion but I couldn't let that stop me, I've got to protect Ruby!

"You know what? I think I'll just execute you right now..." he said, aiming his gun right at my face.

Suddenly there was a loud crash and everyone looked to the source of the din, standing by a collapsed wall in a new opening, was Ruby with her hood pulled up over her head, Crescent Rose unfurled and ready for combat.

"Hey! Leave my sister alone!" Ruby yelled in anger.

The cat bastard looked at her unimpressed, a chuckle coming from him and the surrounding goons.

"Capture the girl and bring her here, I want this one to see what we do with her..." he said, looking back at me with menace.

The White Fang all rushed forwards, Ruby slammed her scythe into the ground and fired at the oncoming faunas, when suddenly Fire Balls streaked from the opening behind her and enveloped the soldiers, throwing them kicking and screaming to the ground.

As I watched a man I didn't know walked out into the battlefield, confusing the White Fang grunts.

"Who the hell are you human?!" the cat yelled.

The new guy leaned in and whispered something to Ruby, she raised one of her hands high her pointer finger extended.

"CHARGE!!" she yelled, thrusting her hand at the standing White Fang.

Suddenly little shapes burst forth from the dark tunnel, they took the shape of little brown skinned imps with glowing yellow eyes, they ran forwards cackling evilly with weapons raised.

The White Fang shot at them but the little creatures easily dodged the bullets, They all jumped onto the faunas biting, scratching, and beating them with their weapons, as this happened Ruby shot with her sniper while the guy beside her extended his hand a soft glow enveloping the little creatures, their giggling got more intense and they seemed to fight harder when under the glow.

The little creatures scattered amongst the White Fang, attacking several of them at once they were very vicious, one deer faunas went down with one of the creatures biting her throat, it's face covered in red blood as it bit down, another faunas went down a stolen sword stuck into his chest.

As the creatures fought they stole the weapons and masks from the White Fang, keeping them for themselves with gleeful expressions, the weapons they grabbed never went into gun form they seemed better with beating the faunas down than shooting.

The creatures got closer and closer, using strength of numbers and unwavering ferocity to tear the White Fang apart, until only a few were left standing they had gathered around me, Weiss and Blake watching the creatures with fear, the creatures giggled and snapped at the White Fang goons jabbing at them with their stolen weapons.

"S-Stop! Throw down your weapons and surrender, or I'll kill the pretty blonde here!" the cat bastard said holding a knife to my neck.

Suddenly he was hit by one of the mystery man's fireballs, throwing him away onto the ground groaning in pain, the other soldiers turned to look at what happened some dropping their weapons in fear, the creatures took the White Fang's distraction to charge and finish them off.

I saw one of the creatures dash a man's head with a club before picking up his sword, the other White Fang went down very quickly until only the terrified cat faunas was left, he raised his hands in an attempt to stop the creatures who stalked towards him with their weapons raised.

"Wait!" I heard Ruby's voice cry out, the creatures stopped and lowered their weapons.

The creatures parted and in strode Ruby, her long red cloak flowing behind her the hood pulled over her head, beside her was a young man who looked about 18 walking beside her with his arms behind his back.

The creatures grabbed the cat faunas and dragged him before Ruby, they forced him to kneel and held his arms in a painful looking vice grip, the faunas looked at Ruby and the guy with a look of terror.

"What do you want to do with this worthless feline, my lady?" the young man asked, a dark tone in his voice.

"Tie him up and leave him for the police, let's untie Yang and the others" Ruby said, the young man looked disappointed but obeyed.

The creatures tied the guy up in chains and threw him down on the ground, some of the creatures walked over and cut mine, Weiss's and Blake's ropes, the creatures watched as they fell to the ground.

Ruby came forward and caught Weiss as she fell, the young man caught Blake and as I fell I felt small, gnarled hands grip onto me I looked around and saw some of the creatures holding me up, however I did blush when I felt one of the creatures hands wander to my chest it's claws digging into my breasts.

"Aaah!" I shrieked, punching the creature away into a pile of broken crates, the creature sat in the wreckage with little hearts in it's eyes and it's tongue lolling out.

"Ruby! What the heck are these things!?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest to protect myself, I could feel the creatures eyes focusing in my girls.

"Yang! I'm so glad your okay!" Ruby cried as she hugged me, I smiled and returned the hug but suddenly noticed that her hood was misshaped, I pulled her hood down quickly and found a awesome looking helmet atop her head.

"Woah! What are you wearing there Ruubes?" I asked, she turned sheepish and kicked at the ground.

"Well you see... I kind of got lost in the tunnels, then I found this cool looking ruin and this cool helmet!" Ruby said, placing her hands on the helmet around her head.

"Aaaaand?" I said, prodding her to continue.

"Well I thought to myself, "Woah that's an awesome helmet, I've got to try it on" and so I did, but now it's kind of... stuck on my head" Ruby said.

"Ugh... Ruuuby!" I said facepalming, how could she possibly think putting on a helmet she found was a good idea?!

"There is a little more to the story, young miss" came an unfamiliar voice, I turned and saw the young man that was with Ruby, he was wearing long (F/c) robes.

The creatures were running around the camp grabbing shiny stuff, or putting things on their heads, others were poking and prodding at Weiss and Blake, two of them were with Ruby one holding onto her leg while the other one climbed up onto her back with a joyous smile.

"Uhhh... Ruby, what are those? And who is that?" I said pointing to the creatures and the guy.

"Well you see..." Rudy said hesitantly.

"I am (Y/N), Minion Master and miss Roses devoted servant and adviser" the young man said, Ruby's eyes turned white in shock her mouth hanging open.

"What?" I asked, very confused.

(Y/N)'S POV

The blonde girl looked between me and Ruby confused, I heard groaning behind me and saw the two girls stirring, suddenly the white haired girl opened her eyes to find herself surrounded by Minions, she shrieked and jumped up the Minions holding their ears in pain, the girl in black snaps awake and jumps up ready to fight but looks around confused and horrified at the dead White Fang and the milling Minions.

"W-What happened here...?" the girl asked.

"Weiss! Blake! are you two okay!?" Ruby asked, running over to the two girls and looking over them worriedly.

"Ummm... Ruby?" Blake said, even more confused.

"What in Monty Oum's name is on your head Ruby Rose?!" Weiss said sternly.

"Oh yeah, eheheh I kind of put on a bad ass helmet and became a Minion Queen" Ruby answered sheepishly.

"What are you talking about you dolt!" Weiss said, her hand raised making Ruby flinch slightly, the Minion noticed this and took action.

"No hurt Master!" one yelled before it jumped off Ruby's back and latched itself onto the girl's face, Suddenly several more ran over making a dog pile on the girl, she vanished beneath a pile of squirming brown limbs.

"Ah! N-No! Watch where your hands are going! No don't touch me there! H-Hey! Aaaaah!" she screamed, the other girls looked on in shock and confusion.

Suddenly the Minions climbed off the white haired girl, her hair was a mess, her clothes slightly ripped and she had crude markings and words drawn all over her face in pen.

Blondie and Ruby snorted trying to hold in their laughter and failing miserably, the black haired girl put a hand to her mouth suppressing a chuckle.

"What? What is it?! WHAT'S SO DAMNED FUNNY!?!" the white haired girl screamed.

"N-Nothing Weiss, don't worry about it" The blonde girl said, trying to regain her breath from her laughing.

That's when the girl seemed to notice me for the first time, she and the black girl looked at me with suspicion.

"And who the hell is this supposed to be?!" Weiss yelled pointing at me.

"That's (Y/N)... he's my adviser and the leader of these Minions" Ruby said , a small blush on her cheeks.

"Actually Ruubes... I do believe he said something about being your 'devoted servant'" the blonde said with a smirk.

"Yaaang!" Ruby whined, hitting her on the arm playfully.

"Perhaps introductions are in order?" the black haired girl said.

"That's right! Ahem, (Y/N) these are my teammate's Blake" the girl nodded her head at me.

"My big sister Yang!" the blonde now known as Yang gave a friendly wave.

"And this is Ice Queen!" Ruby said.

"Hey!" the girl said in annoyance.

"Hahaha, I'm just kidding her name is Weiss" Ruby said earning a huff from the girl.

"Pleasure to meet you all, I am (Y/N) and these are the Minions" I said moving my arms as the Browns all gathered around, some making poses while others marvelled at their stolen weapons.

"Hmph! Dirty little monsters!" Weiss said, she shut up right away when all of the assembled Minions glared at her.

"Careful Weiss, they might do something more than just jump on you if you insult them" Yang said with a wide smile.

"Well, now that we've saved your friends it's time for us to go Master" I said.

"Yeah he's right I need a shower as soon as we get back to Beacon!" Yang said, getting noises of agreement from the other two, Ruby however knew what I meant.

"Actually guys, he means it's time for me to go with him and the Minions" Ruby said.

"WHAT?!" all three girls said loudly, Yang grabbed hold of Ruby's shoulders and looked right into her eyes.

"What are you talking about Ruby? You can't just go away with a complete stranger! He might be a complete psycho!" Yang said, big sister mode in full effect.

"I'm afraid she has no choice in the matter..." I said, she suddenly spun around her eyes turning red and her hair glowing.

"And why is that?!" she shouted, the other two pulling out their weapons as the Minions looked ready to fight.

"Wait guys there's no need to- GAH!" Ruby suddenly fell to her knees, clutching her chest tightly.

"RUBY!!" the girls yelled running to her side.

"What did you do to my sister!" Yang yelled, cocking her fist back and loading a round into her Ember Celica.

"I did nothing, it is the helmet's doing" I said pointing to Ruby, who was writhing on the ground in pain.

"What are you talking about?! what's happening to Ruby!?" Yang asked.

"When she put on the helmet she opened her Soul up to new powers, those powers are quite potent and must be evened out, if they are left like this she will be destroyed!" I answered, Yang looked back at Ruby with desperation.

"H-How... How do we fix her?!" Yang asked.

"She must return to the Nether World with us, the energies there will allow her powers to settle into her body, and she will learn how to control them" I said, Yang looked between me and Ruby not knowing what to do.

"Quick! Open a Nether World Gate!" I yelled, suddenly a big rock broke through the floor, long spikes of nether world rock digging into the roof of the cave, causing the room to shake violently.

I ran to Ruby's side and took her into my arms, Weiss and Blake tried to stop me and take Ruby back but I leapt away, however Yang tried to attack me only to be hit by a slow spell.

Her face had tears spilling down her face as she hung in the air, her eyes glowing bright red in rage and her hair ablaze.

"Yang!" Blake yelled, she and Weiss tried to rush over to help her but I cast the slow spell again trapping the two.

"Don't worry Yang..." I said looking down at Ruby, I was holding her bridal style her arms wrapped around my neck, she had fallen unconscious from the pain the powers were putting her body through.

"I shall make sure her powers level out, then she will become the Dark Lord we deserve!" I said walking away towards the gate.

The Minions rush towards a small Minion Gate beside the Nether World Gate and jumped inside, I stood on the stones waiting for the magic to transport us.

I saw the slow spell wear off of Yang and the girls, they looked up and saw me holding Ruby on the stone, it began to glow bright blue as the arcane energies prepared to take us to the Nether World.

"No! RUBYYY!!" Yang screamed as she, Blake and Weiss sped towards me to take Ruby back.

However I felt the energies coalesce and prepare to transport us, I let a smug smile come to my face as I saw them mere feet away, Weiss rushing forwards with her rapier ready, Blake holding her sword up high and Yang pulling back a fist to strike.

"So long... ladies" I said as the energies glowed bright and we vanished.

YANG'S POV

I sped forward and threw a powerful punch at the smug bastards face, however suddenly he and Ruby vanished in a bright light.

Me, Weiss and Blake just flew right past where they were standing mere moments ago, our weapons hitting empty air, I looked around desperately trying to find Ruby.

"Ruby! Ruby! RUUUUBY!!" I screamed in panic, Weiss and Blake also calling out.

I ran to the middle of the stone and looked around for a way to get to them, The stones all appeared to be dead and inactive, the blue glow fading away leaving cold black rock.

I felt rage and grief swell in my throat, tears falling down my face as I fell to my knees.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! RUUUUUUBY!" I screamed, I screamed so loudly that I felt my throat go raw.

Blake and Weiss stayed back looking on in sympathy at their friends despair.

I fell to the cold stones, my face hitting it hard Blake and Weiss rushed forward and tried to help me.

"Yang! Yang, listen to me, We will get Ruby back, I promise!" Blake said.

"She's right Yang, Ruby will come back she's too stubborn to give up!" Weiss said.

I couldn't respond, I just felt myself shut down, I'd failed to keep her safe...

"I'm sorry Ruby... I-I'm so, so sorry..." I sobbed, Weiss and Blake adding their own tears to the mix.

THE NETHERWORLD, (Y/N)'S POV

The glow faded and Ruby and I stood on the ledge of the Dark Tower, below was a deep, black abyss where vast amounts of magma and water fell constantly, I always wondered how those didn't ever run out.

I looked down and saw Ruby's pained expression relax into a calm one, her wide, silver eyes fluttered open and a small smile came to her face when she saw me.

"Wow... pretty" she said, suddenly leaning forward and planting a small kiss on my cheek.

I felt like my heart exploded in my chest from how fast it was beating, I felt like my face was on fire from how hard I'm blushing, I quickly regathered myself and walked towards the entrance to the tower.

Ruby seemed to wake up more as we got closer until she finally seemed to realise where she was.

"W-What? (Y/N)! What happened? And why are you carrying me?!" she said getting very flustered, it was kind of adorable.

"I-I brought you back, to the Nether World my Lady" I said my face still bright red.

"The Nether World!" Ruby suddenly exclaimed, she looked around frantically her eyes a mix of scared and amazed at the sight before her.

"W-Why did you bring me here!?" she said, sounding very upset.

"I had to my Master, the energies from the helmet were overwhelming your body, had I not brought you here you would have died" I told her, she seemed to relax a little at my explanation.

"Oh... Okay, how long do I have to stay here for?" Ruby asked.

"I'd say at least two days, to allow the energies in your body to level out, and become safe enough for you to master" I said.

"TWO DAYS!?!" Ruby asked, sounding very panicked.

"Do not worry, Master you are as safe as can be here, you'll be surrounded by your Minions and we shall make sure to keep you safe, my lady" I said with determination.

She seemed to relax a little around me and a small smile came to her face.

"O-Okay fine... I'll stay for the two days, what do we have to do down here?" Ruby asked.

"Well first we should have your coronation! You'll get to sit upon your new Throne and see a great number of your Minions" I said.

"Okay! Will you come with me?" She asked, looking at me expectantly.

I felt my face heat up again and it wouldn't go down no matter how hard I tried, what is going on with me?!

"Of course my lady.." I said with a bow.

"Okay, lead the way (Y/N)!" Ruby said, wrapping her small arms around mine and waiting for me to lead the way.

I felt my blush get ten times worse, I could probably rival a Red Minion in redness about now... but somehow it felt kind of good!

"Very well my lady" I said leading her into the Throne Room, with in was a huge crowd of Brown Minions, they all looked at Ruby with awe and wonder big, toothy smiles on their evil little faces.

I walked Ruby up the first set of stairs towards her new throne, I stopped at the base of the steps and encouraged Ruby up the steps, she tentatively walked up the stairs, turned to gaze upon the assembled Minions and sat down on the Throne.

I turned to the Minions and raised my arms up high, a huge smile on my face at the rise of a new Overlord.

"LET IT BE KNOWN, OUR NEW DARK MASTER HAS RISEN! ALL HAIL RUBY ROSE, THE OVERLORD!!" I bellowed to the Minions in the hall.

"MASSSSTEEERRRR!!" the Minions all yelled, kneeling on the ground before the throne, I turned back to Ruby and knelt down on one knee before her.

I looked up and saw her with an unsure smile on her pink lips, her eyes glowing silver in the darkness of the helmet, her long red cloak hanging over the arm rests and past her legs on the seat.

After a full minute of deference I rose up and turned to the Minions.

"Okay! Everyone back to work! We've got to get this Tower in a more presentable state for our new Master!" I said, the Minions scattered around the Throne Room, cleaning up the dust and cobwebs and masons moving around to repair the cracks and strengthen the foundations of the Throne Room.

I walked to Ruby and she smiled at me.

"Did I do good?" she asked, sounding unsure.

"You did very well ,my lady, your Minions are ready to serve in any capacity, as am I!" I said, she giggled at my answer.

"Did I say something funny Master?" I asked.

"Haha no, I was just thinking if this was what Weiss had when she lived at home..." she said, a small smile on her face.

"The ice queen has servants too?" I asked with a raised brow, if she was an Overlord she would have to be taken down!

"Yeah she's the heiress the the Schnee Dust Company, so her family have a lot of money, and a lot of servants" Ruby said.

"Ah, I see..." I said with some relief, at least we don't have any competition for the position of ultimate evil! It will take some work but we will succeed, especially now that we have our new Master with us.

Ruby looked around the Throne Room taking in the sights, and watching the Minions work.

"I get the feeling this will be an interesting adventure, for both of us..." I say quietly to myself, looking down as Ruby with a small smile.

She looks up at me and smiles back, I get a warm feeling in my chest from the sight, I'll have to figure out what this is later.
