Dex's P.O.V

"Marella! Marella!" Dex continued to call as he walked past the different stations trying to find her.

"Excuse me sir!" A man called to Dex. Dex turned around to see it was a man selling several books.

"Yes?" Dex asked, coming toward's the man's station.

"Would you be interested in buying any of my books? Most are one of a kind! They all provide such fascinating things you don't know about Tennessee!" The man continued.

"Hmm," Dex hummed as he looked at the selection. There were some on the different animal species in Tennessee, the unique foods, and one about the hidden secrets in the Smoky Mountains.

"I'm sorry sir, I got to be going soon," Dex said.

"Oh c'mon! What about this one?" The man asked, lifting up a book called The Legends of the Caves.

Dex felt bad for the man so he said, "alright, how much?"

"Fifty bucks!"

"FIFTY BUCKS?!" Dex exclaimed.

"Oh you'll find the price is worth it! This is a hard book to find and has priceless information in it!" The man said.

Dex really didn't have the time to be here all day so he just said, "alright fine!"

Dex quickly payed for it and when he turned around Marella was right behind him.

"Oh, there you are! I was calling for you," Dex said.

Marella just gave him a strange look.

"Uhm hello? Is there...something wrong?" Dex asked, confused.

"Uh— no! Sorry, I'm fine. Let's go," Marella quickly said, stilling staring at Dex strangely.

"Alright, I think we should quickly meet up with the others to see if they found anything before we look at anything else," Dex suggested.

He looked at Marella and her eyes were wide as she looked somewhere behind Dex.

"Okay, seriously, what's wrong?" Dex asked, now very suspicious of Marella.

"Omg sorry— I just, look!" Marella stuttered pointing behind Dex.

Dex spun around and froze.

In the crowd of people there was a man in a dark hood.

The man from the train.

"How did he even find us here?!" Dex asked.

"I don't know, but we have to get out of here," Marella said, looking around.

Dex looked back at where they first saw the Neverseen member from the train but he wasn't there anymore.

"Oh no," Dex mumbled.

"What?!" Marella asked.

"We lost him, he's not there anymore," Dex said, pointing at where the man was before.

"Oh no! Where is he?!" Marella exclaimed, her head looking in different directions.

Dex snapped his head around and jumped when he saw the man a little far behind him. But the man saw Dex and now he was charging towards them.

"THERE!" Dex yelled, pointing at the man. Marella saw and freaked.

"Okay now we really need to go!" Marella shrieked, grabbing Dex's arm and yanking him forward.

Dex felt pain shoot in his leg but he held it in as he struggled to run with Marella with his prosthetic leg.

As Marella and Dex pushed past several people, many people were yelling at them and shoving them.

"HEY SIR! How much for that metal leg?!" One man asked Dex, grabbing him by the arm.

"UHM— NOT FOR SALE!" Dex yelled, as he tried to get his arm out of the man's grip.

"BUT I WANT THAT METAL LEG!" The man raged, now grabbing the metal leg and trying to pull it off of Dex.

"HEY! LET GO OF MY BOYFRIEND!" Marella yelled, sending a karate chop on the man's arm, causing his grip to loosen on Dex's leg, allowing him to escape.

They then continued to run, looking to see the Neverseen member was gaining on them.

"HEY YOUNG MAN!" A lady called out, grabbing Dex by the face.

"WHAAA—" Dex shrieked.

"OPEN YOUR MOUTH BOY!" The lady yelled.

"UHHH AHHHH?" Dex exclaimed, opening his mouth.

The lady then stuffed several grapes in his mouth, nearly causing him to choke.

"THESE ARE FINE GRAPES FROM ITALY!" She exclaimed, grinning.

"Uhm— we don't care! BYE MA'AM!" Marella exclaimed, trying to pull Dex back.

"EY! THE BOY STILL NEEDS TO PAY FOR THOSE GRAPES!" The lady yelled, her face now looking angry.

"YOU STUFFED THEM DOWN MY THROAT! I'M NOT PAYING ANYTHING!" Dex defended, backing up.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" The lady bellowed, bringing her fist in the air.

Marella and Dex then continued to sprint away.

"MAN! THESE PEOPLE ARE CRAZY HERE!" Dex exclaimed.

"TELL ME ABOUT IT!" Marella said, turning around a corner.

"Alright, we gotta look for the others! Didn't they go over there?" Marella asked, pointing to the right.

"Uh I think so. Let's go there," Dex agreed, running to that direction and through a crowd.

Once they made it past many people, they looked back and couldn't find the Neverseen member anymore.

"I think we lost him," Dex said, catching his breath.

"For now," Marella said. "Oh! There's Wylie!"

Marella dashed over to where she saw Wylie with Dex struggling to catch up behind her.

"WYLIE!" Marella exclaimed.

"Oh hey guys!" Wylie exclaimed, waving happily.

"We've been looking for you!" Marella said, huffing and puffing.

"Oh, I was just here getting Linh this necklace," Wylie said, smiling as he held up a pretty nice blue necklace. "Do you think she'll like it?"

"Okay, that's great! Now we got to go!" Marella said, nervously looking around.

"Why?" Wylie asked, finishing his payment to the person who was selling the necklace.

"That Neverseen member from the train is back and he saw us! We lost him for now but he will find us!" Marella explained.

"Yeah, we also have to find Grady and Edaline," Dex added.

"Oh is the guy in a dark hoodie?" Wylie asked.

"Yes!" Marella and Dex exclaimed.

"Oh, he's been like right over there this whole time," Wylie said, looking at somewhere behind them.

"WYLIE! A HEADS UP NEXT TIME?!" Marella exclaimed, ducking down.

"Sorry— oh! And he's looking at us right now— AND HE'S CHARGING AT US!" Wylie exclaimed.

This dude—

"RUNNN!" Marella squealed, sprinting for her life with Wylie and Dex chasing after her.

"OKAY, Wylie! WHERE IS EDALINE AND GRADY?!" Marella asked, wile sprinting.

"Uhm I don't know!" Wylie said.

"I THOUGHT YOU WENT LOOKING FOR THEM!" Marella exclaimed.

"Well I did! But I got distracted on the way!" Wylie admitted.

"Great," Dex mumbled, under his breath.

"DEX! RUN FASTER!" Marella yelled.

"YA THINK I'M NOT TRYING?!" Dex exclaimed, lifting up his metal leg. "I'm pretty sure I moved faster on my wheel chair!"

"WELL TRY TO HURRY! THE NEVERSEEN GUY IS GAINING ON US!" Marella shrieked.

"GUYS! LOOK AHEAD!" Wylie exclaimed, pointing ahead where there was a huge crowd.

Dex and Marella looked to see it was a crowd that was surrounding a huge stage.

Wylie, Marella, and Dex then made their way into the crowd. "We can hide here for now," Wylie said.

They then made their way to the front of the crowd and gasped when they saw Grady was on stage.

"ABRAAAA CADABRAAAA!" Grady sang out as his hand hovered over a magic top hat.

"What in the world?!" Marella shrieked.

Grady then stuck his hand in the top hat and pulled out a long metal bat. "MWUAHAHAHA! IT WORKED!" Grady exclaimed, lifting the bat in the air.

"WOAHHH!" The crowd exclaimed, clapping.

"I SHALL NOW CALL MY NINJA ARMY TO PERFORM THE ACT YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR! THE DNM!" Grady yelled out to the crowd.

"DNM! DNM! DNM! DNM!" The crowd roared.

"WHO LET HIM GET ON THAT STAGE?!" Marella yelled.

"I DON'T KNOW!" Wylie yelled back.

"WHERE'S EDALINE?!" Marella asked.

"There!" Dex exclaimed, pointing at Edaline would was near the stage looking very embarrassed.

"WE HAVE TO GET TO HER ASAP!" Marella said.

"Okay, how about we stop Grady from calling on his ninja army and creating chaos first!" Dex suggested.

"Uhm— I think he's busy at the moment," Wylie said, pointing back at Grady.

Dex and Marella then looked and gasped to see the Neverseen member had made it on stage and was now circling Grady.

"ABRAAA CADABRAAA! STAY BACK!" Grady yelled out to the Neverseen member, waving his bat in the air while wearing the ridiculously tall top hat.

Dex couldn't decide if the scene was ridiculous or terrifying.

And the crowd thought it was apart of the act so they were cheering on!

"Okay let's actually get Edaline first while Grady keeps the guy distracted," Wylie suggested. They then pushed their way through the crowd to get to Edaline.

"EDALINE!" Marella yelled out, running up to her.

Edaline faced them and gasped. "There you guys are! Who is that man on stage?!"

"It's the Neverseen dude from the train!" Dex said.

"Oh no," Edaline mumbled.

"We got to get Grady off that stage and make a run for it," Dex said.

"Alright, Wylie, call a taxi so we can get a ride right away to get out of here," Marella directed.

"On it," Wylie said, putting his phone to his ear as he called a taxi to come.

Dex then looked back at the stage to see Grady was hiding behind a huge set piece. Grady then stood up and took a few steps forward.

"STAY BACK!" Grady yelled, swinging at the Neverseen member with his bat.

The Neverseen member then pulled out a gun and pointed it at Grady.

"OH! RETREAT! RETREAT!" Grady panicked, running back to his hiding spot as the guy fired some shots.

The audience literally clapped along, still clueless.

"This is not good at all!" Edaline cried out, looking so scared.

"Don't worry, the taxi is on the way," Wylie said.

"We need to give the Neverseen member a distraction to allow Grady to escape with us," Dex said.

"Like what?" Marella asked.

"Uhm..." Dex mumbled, thinking of possibilities.

His eyes then fell onto this huge snake that was being tamed by a man not too far away.

"Uh I have a crazy idea," Dex said.

"What?!" Wylie, Edaline, and Marella asked.

"Stay here," Dex said, dashing off to where he saw the snake.

There was a small group of people watching the snake being tamed and Dex saw that the man holding the snake was letting people hold it.

"Uh sir! Could I have a turn to hold the snake?" Dex asked, joining the group of people.

"Sure," the main said, turning to face Dex. "Just don't be scared."

Dex gulped down his fear as the snake flicked its tongue towards Dex's direction.

Dex started to shake as the man put the snake on Dex's arm.

The scaly creature then started to wrap itself around Dex's skin.

"You look a little scared," the man noted.

"Okay, I'm just gonna say sorry now but I have to do this!" Dex said.

"Do what?" The man asked, his eyes narrowing.

"BYE!" Dex yelled as he ran away with the snake, back towards the stage.

"HEY! GET BACK HERE! STOP THAT BOY!" Dex heard the man yell behind him.

Dex trembled as he feared the snake might bite him any second as he made it back to the crowd next to the stage.

People noticed Dex with the snake and started to shriek and back away.

Before Dex could even think about what he was doing, Dex pulled the snake off his arm and sent it a silent apology before he threw the snake right at the Neverseen member on the stage.

The Neverseen member stopped what he was doing and noticed the snake. The man then started to yell out and dance around, trying to get the snake off of him.

"GRADY! GET OUT OF THERE!" Dex yelled.

Grady saw Dex and made a run for it as the Neverseen member was too busy yelling out for his life with the snake wrapping around its body.

Grady then met up with Dex and they sprinted towards where the others were.

"The taxi is here! Let's go!" Wylie said, leading them out of there.

They then ran for their lives to where the taxi was waiting for them and hopped in as fast as they could.

"PLEASE BRING US BACK TO OUR HOTEL AS FAST AS YOU CAN!" Marella pleaded the taxi driver, almost out of breath.

The man then nodded and started the car.

Dex pressed his face against the glass window as he watched the chaos happening in the marketplace and saw police were arriving.

Luckily, the taxi driver sped off quick before anyone could catch them.

That was too close.

LOTS OF ACTION TODAY HUH?
