Starry night

"We are the only one's that are awake tonight,
You&me with kaleidoscope in our eyes and galaxies for a mind.
No matter what tomorrow brings
Or what we left behind,
You are here with me under this starry night.
It is all i could have asked for
They say, you don't plan for your best moments' they just kinda happens.
This is the truth i suppose
Cause even if i had a thousand tries
I couldn't make it any near as this beautiful.
It is a dark night
With no moon hanging up in the sky,
But with you beside me,
Its something beyond wonderful.
'Cause you are my moon & skies
And galaxies are inside your eyes,
You have meteoroids on your lips;
Could destroy or perhaps create life in a matter of seconds."

All these words i linger to speak
But with you beside me, i am tongue tied.
Afraid, i might ruin it
or worst; make a fool of myself
that may make you leave.
My dear sunshine.
No matter how many word dies & are incarnated in my mouth before they make their way to you or this ink that flows from my pen.
Just know, these three words are the truest I've ever spoken
And always will be.
Be it a week ago or a hundred years from now;
I love you.
< you deserve the world.
Even if i'm no longer in yours.>
