I've been meaning to ask you
from a long time,
would you ever miss me
If tomorrow i won't be around
anymore
If you were no longer
to talk to me,
If no longer
you had to hear my thoughts.
would you be relieved
that i do not exist
anymore
or would you search for me
in every person you'll meet,
would you recall
all the things i've told you
or just forget it all
like an unremembered memory?
whatever you would feel & do
I am not sure i would
be able to tell differently
you can love me when i am here
& when i am gone,
I would never choose to disturb
your peace.
but if you ever wonder
for how I'll live
when you leave
my answer would be
i would choose to
not breathe after you
rather than strive to survive
in a world
with no heart to beat.
