How many times have you tried to write and one of the following happens:

Your phone goes off
family calls you for dinner
Siblings won't leave you alone
You are asked to do chores

The list can go on and on. There is a solution though.

Set a time to write if you feel inspired. Make sure chores and homework are done ahead so you won't get called away to do those.

Wait till you have the place to yourself. If parents are at work and siblings are at school or a friend's house, take the time to write.

Know the right time to write. For example, don't start right before you know dinner will be ready and you get Inturptted.

Have a quiet and secluded place to write with no distractions. I personally enjoy writing outside on the back porch. Find a place and make it yours. Whether it be a closet, patio, or bathroom. Get alone with your story.
