We all looked at each other  " let's get out of here" I said with a small smile, we got back into our clothes then walked down the middle of the empty road, dirt and death stained the road. We walked below the grey sky of the day with are bodies shaking and damaged, we limped for hours taking little breaks in between, we were far from Ridleys where some of are stuff had been left. I looked around at the small group we were, chase walked slow with a bowed head, Max layed in Cash's arms almost lifeless, Casey walked with a stumble but Matt he limped, his body weak and stumbling pretty much dragging his leg.

If we go on for to long he won't make it, I had the feeling in my gut, I stopped walking. I looked ahead and noticed a small motel, I pointed "we have to go there and take a break just a few minutes" I told everyone. "Just a few" cash replied. We walked til we made it to the motel. "Check every door" I told them, we split up running to doors of the motel and checking it. "Hey guys I found one that's unlocked!" Matt called us over, we walked in, Casey plugged her nose from the smell. We sat on the creaking small bed in the room, I shut the door. "Lay Max down on the bed" Casey told Cash, he set Max on the bed.

Casey put her ear to his chest and listened "well?" I asked, she shook her head. I lowered my head. "We have to do CPR it might be the only way" Casey said interlocking her fingers and placing her hands on Max, she pushed down lightly a few times then listened but still nothing so she tried again, pushing  on his chest softly he flew up and started coughing, Casey backed up. My eyes widened, Max breathed hard then looked around the room " where am I? What's going on!?" Max asked freaking out. "Its ok Max were out of that place, everything will be ok I promise" I told Max to calm him down. He hugged me tight "I thought you was dead" he said with tears sliding down his face. " we're going to get out of here ok" I told Max holding his arms, he nodded.

Suddenly I got a twisting feel in my stomach, it hurt, then I felt sick and light headed, I stood up and walked over to the doorway of a bathroom, I held onto the door trying to stay steady, I blinked a few times then looked at Casey, her head tilted " Kenny are you ok? Kenny!" She yelled running over to me right as I collapse to the floor. My eyes opened enough to see where Matt and Cash carried me, I looked around to find I was in the bathroom. I shook my head back into focus, "ughh" I groaned grabbing the toilet and throwing up in it. My stomach ached with each throw up. Matt and Cash stood by me as I threw up "what's happening" I asked Matt, " your throwing up, from lack of eating" Matt said grabbing his stomach "oh no!" Matt said collapsing to the floor then sliding to the tub, he hung his head over the tub and threw up "oh god" Cash said looking at the both of us throwing up acid. I got up and stumbled to the bed. " um maybe we should rest here tonight" Casey requested " what no way we're halfway there we can make it" I said to Casey as I leaned on the bed to keep balance.

" theirs a strength within us" Matt said walking out of the bathroom and to the bed.
