We left the motel room, all of us limping and stumbling along the road again, Matt walked up beside me "Hey Kenny I have something for you" Matt said taking off his leather bracelet and handing it to me " here I want you to have it" he said smiling. " what I can't have this, you wear it everyday, wasn't it your dads?" I asked "yep it was, now it's yours. Kenny your a brother to me, you always have been, see this bracelet it means family, your family" Matt said putting the dark brown leather bracelet on my wrist, i stopped and looked down at the bracelet on my wrist, I looked to Matt, a tear slid down my cheek. I grabbed Matt and hugged him tight. " Thank you" I smiled hugging him.

We kept walking, I could see Ridleys down the road. We stopped and all looked at each other and smiled, I looked over to Matt and smiled, he smiled at me then his eyes widened, a loud bang echoed as Matt screamed, his eyes saying pain as a bullet ripped through his back and out his chest, he collapsed to the ground. All heads turned to see a man  holding a gun, "Noooo!" I screamed running to Matt and landing on my knees, Chase ran to the man chasing him along the street. I slid my arms underneath Matt, everyone stood around me and Matt. I sat on the road with Matt in my arms, I could feel a drop of rain hit the back of my neck as I buried my face into Matt, it started to pour and rain as I held his lifeless body in my arms, tears slid down the cheeks of my face. Matt looked at me with his body shaking and covered in blood " G-Goodbye" Matt studdered looking into my glassy eyes, his head went limp and fell back on my arm, he was dead. Blood slid down his body, I placed my hand on his wound trying to stop the blood "no no please!" I cried, I shook his body gently "wake up wake up" I bawled holding him as the rain drenched our bodies.

I looked up to the others, they stared at Matts body with tears in their eyes "I promised him" I whispered in a cry looking at Matt's face then up at the others. I sat in the road holding Matt in the rain for what seemed like hours. I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked up, Casey stood by me and looked at me " Kenny we have to go we don't have much time before we get found again, what if that guy comes back" she whispered worried, I looked at Matt then Casey " just leave me here" I whispered looking down. "I'm not going to leave you" Casey said to me. "Please just leave me and take Max, Cash and chase with you I'm staying here" I said quietly, Max walked up to me " Come on brother! You can't leave me! Your ok let's go!" Max said crying and pulling at my arm but I didn't budge. "No" I said.
