I looked over to Casey were going to get out of here I promise I said to Casey, I showed her the map and went over it with her til she had it stuck in her head. Me and Casey and chase crawled out of the window of the small old house, are plan was to make it over to Matt's without being seen or shot alright Casey stay by my side I made clear to her keeping her behind me for safety, we stood with our backs agains the outside of the house. My heart was pounding and my stomach turned left and right I was scared but I didn't tell casey, I didn't want to make her have anymore fear so I ignored the pain inside as we made are way down the street with no sign of anyone surprisingly. It was dark and looked like it was going to rain. I pulled out my slingshot with a bag full of metal marbles inside just in case for safety, we ran to Matt's with a slingshot and a dog as are only protection. Two blocks later we were standing at the steps of Matt's house, I noticed the door had been broken and left cracked open.

I took a double take to Casey then back to the door with widened eyes, chase stuck his nose through the crack and ststarted snarling with hair standing up on his back, his teeth showed through his scrunched gums. I slowly pushed the door open with one hand, I stepped one foot into the house but before I stepped all the way in Casey stopped me by my jacket I don't want to go in their I'll just stay out here I'll be fine out here but you be safe and take chase with you she said with a shaky tone in her voice. I nodded then went on forward.

I walked in shutting the door behind me with chase standing at my side, the house looked empty so I searched around the living room for any evidence but found none so I made my way up the stairs with chase following, when I got to the top of the stairs I spotted little puddles of blood on the floor in a trail. I took a deep breathe in and followed the blood to the bathroom, I slowly pushed the door open with my finger tips, my heart pounded inside my chest so hard and fast I could hear it as I slid the door open revealing bigger puddles of blood til I seen a body lying on the floor...dead, it was a girl I recognized the girl as Matt's little sister, blood lied around izzys body shit! No how could this happen I said looking away from her body I felt like fainting but I didnt.

I shut the door slowly then I heard a cry in pain coming from inside Matt's room, I ran in. Matt was lying on the floor mumbling something and crying, I ran over and slid my arms underneath him then placing his arm carefully around the back of my neck lets get out of here I said in a sobbing voice. I walked out of the room with Matt in my arms and chase leading the way where's izzy? Did you save her? is she ok? Matt asked, I looked over to the bathroom door that I shut earlier kenny did she!? I noded my head unable to spit out a single word. Matt stared down set me down he mumbled.
