We all wore a backpack with what mattered was inside, some of what was needed. Water, rope, knife, lighter, blanket, first aid. The things that used to matter didn't matter anymore. We have new worries, responsibilities and things we have to do, only thing that matters to me is that everyone of us stay alive and that we find are way over, even if it takes what we don't have I believe we can do it, I still have hope. I yelled over the alarms sound, max stepped on the glass and ran through the store, a minute later the ringing went away and the door clicked come on guys max said holding the door open for us we ran in and split up down aisles, I had the medicine aisle. I grabbed what I thought we needed ibuprofen, tums, gauze, cast, bandages, and more. Casey was in charge of batteries and other little things we might need, max was in charge of food and drinks why Matt sat on the floor resting and telling max not to get any junk food. We all met at the cash register dumping everything on it. I scanned through it and sorted it out through are bags alright done that should be it! I said shoving a little bag of dog food in my backpack. Let's head out I said sliding the straps over my shoulders then walking to the door. We walked out of the store with are backpacks, I held two gallons of water one in each hand. Max held a jug of water in his right hand as we walked, I heard a loud screech coming from down the road, I turned my head and seen a van whip around into the parking lot I tilted my head then my eyes widened shit! Run! I yelled dropping the water. We all ran as the van drove are way, suddenly I tripped over a bar hitting my head with a clunk I fell to the asfault. Black was all I could see til my lids slowly opened with blur as my head lay on the ground every thing was fuzzy and sideways, a guy hopped out of the van and grabbed max, max screamed and dropped the water making it dump out all on the ground, the guy hit max on the head with a bar knocking him out they put a blind fold over his eyes, my eyes shut again.
