I set Matt down to where he could somewhat stand, he looked down and started bawling he tried to walk when he fell from his shot leg, I leaned and reached my hand out to Matt, he swatted my hand away and just told me to leave him their to let him die. I'm not leaving you Matt your coming with! I told him as I squatted down and looked at him, why should I go with I already lost enough I don't want to have to watch anybody else go he cried angrily. I'll be right outside if you decide to come along I told Matt as I stood back up from squatting, chase licked Matt. I walked back downstairs and out the door, I sat on the porch by Casey telling her what had happened then a few minutes later Matt showed up limping i-I'll go he said with a studder. Me and Casey helped Matt as we walked and made are way down the street Matt I might've came up with a plan to get us all outa here I said looking at him with a serious look.

We walked on down the street, one hand around Matt and one holding my sling shot. Casey walked also with a arm around matt, he limped with his bloody shot leg as we all made are way to my house. I could hear Matt's heavy breathing as he walked with most his weight put all on one leg, chase trotted behind like a horse I shook my head weird dog I said to myself. We got to the porch with a stumble, the door was open it was to late I pushed the door open with my hand and ran inside. Casey held onto Matt and watched me fly up the stairs. I heard a sound coming from my bedroom closet pulling out my sling shot I loaded it and tip toed forward, I slowly reached out to the closet opening it quickly prepared for something to jump out at me I got so scared I shut my eyes and jumped back. I opened my eyes and seen max crying in the corner of my closet, I ran forward and hugged him, his face went into my shoulder as he cryed shhh it's ok I said softly as we disconnected are hug what's going on max asked crying I don't really know but we need to find out I said standing up. Max stood up and looked into the hall max what's up? I asked wondering why he was looking that way, max stared at the hall and glanced downward its mom and dad isn't it I said tilting my head and looking at max, he nodded in reply as tears slid. I sighed max we have to go matt and Casey and chase are waiting I said grabbing max's hand and leading him down the stairs.

Tears dripped on the steps from the both of us as we walked, when we got down the stairs Matt limped to max and hugged him what happened to your leg ? Max questioned got shot.
