Yeosang discovers that he's a quick learner, at least that's what his friends tell him. He personally thinks he's terrible at it.

"More to the left- no I said left! Good good. Now put it down- AH! I meant gently don't just let go of it!"

A loud crash is heard as clay scatters all over the floor. Mingi massages his temples as he sighs.

"Why are we practicing with a plate! Can't we do it with a cushion or something less fragile?" Yeosang says. This is the second plate he's broken and with every crash the less motivated he is to learn magic.

"So you can focus more and be careful! If we did it with a cushion it wouldn't matter if you dropped it"

Mingi and Jongho have been teaching him for the past few days, both are way too eager to show him spells to try. The first time he tried after the whole crystal incident, he had been nervous. Doing magic doesn't exactly feel like anything. He expected a little tingle or something but there's nothing. So it was initially extremely unnerving for Yeosang to see himself move something from far away so even feeling anything.

Mingi mentioned that doing magic continually for a long period of time tires you out and my make your muscles sore, just like how normal manual labour does- but a little less tiring than actual labour. Yeosang laughed at that, asking what was the point of magic then.

Yet he still finds himself looking forward to learn from them. It is actually rewarding eating their faces light up as he successfully casts a spell. It also makes him feel good, little Yeosang would be screaming in excitement at him right now.

Magic is the perfect word, Yeosang feels magical when he casts a spell, even if it's something as simple as turning a doorknob. Jongho had given him a book of essential spells  for beginners, apparently it's something all children get when they start to learn more things. Yeosang finds himself studying it every night, mesmerised at himself when he casts something. He knows he's late to the game but he can't wrap his head around it- how it's possible that just saying a few specific words and thinking about an action makes it happen! Without him even having to get up from his seat.

"Hello? Yeosang" Mingi waves a hand in front of him.

"Huh?" Yeosang is pulled out of his thoughts as he looks at Mingi, then Jongho who is sweeping the broken plate.

"You've been making a lot of progress! I've never seen anyone learn this far" Mingi says with a thumbs up.

Yeosang chuckles at the compliment, "I keep breaking things, how is that progress"

"You've only broken two things, plus this is literally the fifth day teaching you and you've already mastered dozens of spells! It takes the average person two days for one spell- I don't know if you're some superhuman or what". Mingi showers him with praises and Yeosang is secretly loving it.

"Is it because he has purple magic in him?" Jongho says from behind them, picking up the last few pieces of the plate.

"That's a possibility, also probably because he's already a skilled adult. Our Yeosang can do anything" Mingi says as he pulls a surprised Yeosang into a hug, stroking his hair.

Yeosang is frozen at first, even though he's hugged his friends countless times this one feels more intimate and special. Like a parent when they're proud of their child. Or in Yeosang's case, his friends being incredibly proud of him.

Jongho joins the hug and Yeosang clutches on to the both of them tightly, a silent but understood thank you for staying with him.

The younger is the one to pull away, suddenly remembering something. "Oh, right San hyung told me Wooyoung hyung is coming to teach you tomorrow instead of us. It would be good since he has purple magic, he can teach you about dark magic and stuff since none of us have it. He said he'll come an hour before we all come tomorrow since we can get two things done at once"

"I didn't know everyone is coming tomorrow"

"I don't know, San hyung said Wooyoung hyung has news to tell us. He's going to come early and teach you a few things then the rest of us will come over to hear what ever the news is"

Yeosang frowns, Wooyoung is going to teach him tomorrow, them two. All alone. He hasn't seen him since that stint he pulled kissing Wooyoung in front of everyone. He tries not to think about it. For now, something else Jongho said intrigues him. "San told you? Since when we're you so close with him?"

Jongho's eyes go wide for a split second, then back to being nonchalant. "We're not- I mean like aren't we all friends? Or maybe I want to keep it a secret like some people do!" He points at Yeosang accusingly making Mingi laugh.

Yeosang rolls his eyes. "I said I'm sorry for not telling you about Wooyoung!"

"It's the fact that you told Mingi hyung and not me!" Jongho pouts.

"I didn't tell him, he and his big brain just found out. I swear I was going to tell you guys once I figured out my feelings." Yeosang says, holding Jongho's arm. The younger isn't actually angry, he was shocked at first but got over it quickly.

"It's fine, just talk it out tomorrow when he comes okay? Things like this need to be discussed otherwise it gets complicated on both ends" Jongho says sternly.

"Take your own advise" Mingi snickers.

Yeosang looks at Mingi in confusion, and even more when Jongho looks at him, scandalised. "Am I missing something? What is he talking about Jongho?"

He doesn't miss the way the tips of his ears turn pink. "I have no idea- I was just trying to advise you, just ignore him" the younger says, glowing at Mingi.

Yeosang looks at the two who are seemingly arguing with their eyes. He thinks about what Mingi said, Jongho taking his own advice? Is there something going on between Jongho and someone else?

He doesn't have time to ask as the pair are already saying their goodbyes. Yeosang watches them disappear into the sunset with a smile on his face.

~

Wooyoung arrives exactly on time. Jongho relayed the message that they're all going to meet at his house later on after Wooyoung has squeezed in some teaching time.

"Hi" The prince says, his smile making Yeosang swoon.

"Hi" Yeosang replies, not aware that his own smile elicits the same reaction from Wooyoung.

Despite the awkward greeting the air around them is comfortable, Yeosang lets him in and they head to the living room.

"So... you're teaching me today?" Yeosang says only to fill the silence, of course he knows why Wooyoung is here.

The prince nods anyway, along with an amused smile. "I thought it would be appropriate for me to teach you a few things about purple magic since I'm the only one who can do it"

Yeosang hums in understanding, gesturing for him to get on with it but when Wooyoung doesn't move he looks at him in question.

"Well, you see" Wooyoung starts to look into his bag, seemingly searching for something then gets out a book, sitting down on the sofa and patting the seat next to him.

Yeosang takes a seat, glancing at the book curiously. "Purples can do dark magic but it's really difficult. I've never done it before, mostly because they're evil spells, there's a reason why no one's allowed to possess it. I can help you with other things but not dark magic, so I got you a book if you want to learn about it".

He hands the book to Yeosang who flips through the pages. "To tell you the truth, none of my family are good at it. I've just thought that it's because we don't practice it but now that I think about it, it's probably because we're not true purples, our magic is weak".

Yeosang looks at Wooyoung while he's looking down. He knows the prince is feeling sad remembering his family's situation. He wishes he knew how to comfort him.

He touches his hand cautiously, causing Wooyoung to look at him. "How about you teach me something you're good at then?" He says with a gentle smile.

Fortunately, Yeosang's lame attempt to cheer him up works as the price is smiling widely and standing up.m"Okay, where should we start? There's too many things I'm good at"

Yeosang stands up too, laughing at the others sudden enthusiasm. "I've learnt basic things, teach me something difficult".

Wooyoung raises his eyebrows then thinks for a minute. "Something difficult? How about self defence?"

Yeosang's eyes light up as he nods eagerly. Finally something interesting. He's always been fascinated with how people fight with magic. Granted, he's never actually seen a fight, only the playful hexes Mingi and Jongho throw at each other.

"Okay, I'll teach you the simplest block first. It's easy if you have quick reflexes, kind of like catching a ball." Wooyoung shows him how to cast the spell, then all of a sudden throws a spell at him.

Yeosang winces as he sees a blue ball of light come flying towards him. When he feels nothing but something equivalent to a crumpled paper being thrown at him, he looks at Wooyoung in confusion.

The prince laughs. "You were supposed to block it! The spell I just cast is an attack spell people use when teaching defence. Doesn't hurt so don't worry"

Yeosang nods, determined to do well. "Okay I'm ready"

Wooyoung smirks at his enthusiasm, knowing he's not going to go easy on him. He takes a few moments to actually cast the spell, wanting to catch Yeosang off guard. But when he swiftly throws it, aiming for his shoulder, it is blocked instantly.

They both take a second to process it, Wooyoung has never seen anyone do so well in their first try. Yeosang is equally as dumbfounded, staring at his hands.

He gulps, taking this moment where Yeosang is distracted to hurl two more consecutive spells at him. In record speed, Yeosang blocks both of them.

Wooyoung takes in a deep breath, he'll give him a challenge now. He throws spells at him non stop, all in different directions, determined to make Yeosang miss at least one. But somehow even though he's putting all his effort, pretending that he's sparring with an expert rather than a beginner, Yeosang Bucks them all effortlessly.

"How- how are you doing that" Wooyoung breathes out. He's never seen anyone this naturally gifted at blocking spells, who knows what else he can do perfectly.

"I have no idea, I just did as you told me that's all" Yeosang is confused too, how such magic is coming out of him and how quickly he picks up on spells.

"You're amazing you know that?" Wooyoung says in awe, watching how Yeosang's cheeks go pink at his words. Wooyoung rebels in the fact that he can make Yeosang react like this.

His cheeks are warm too but there's a draught coming from the window. He sees Yeosang shiver too so he checks the fireplace. He celebrates when he sees the it's not lit and happily grabs Yeosang, pulling him to it.

"Here, let me show you how to start a fire. Watch carefully"

Yeosang's heart hammers crazily when Wooyoung streams behind him, leaning over to hold both of his hands in front of the fireplace. The grip on his hands are firm, the prince gives them a light squeeze before starting.

"You run your hands as if you're warming them" Wooyoung says, demonstrating with Yeosang's hands. The other finds it difficult to focus when Wooyoung's chest is pressing against his back, breath hitting his cheek. "Then spread your hands in the direction you want the fire"

Soon enough the fireplace is lit, Yeosang watches in fascination, smiling at what he just did now with magic. He looks at Wooyoung, realising that he's still pressed against his chest when he gas to crane his neck to meet his eyes.

Wooyoung suppress a gasp but he can't help the way his breath hitches when Yeosang looks at him. The combination of the warm light of the fire illuminating Yeosang's ethereal features and the way he's looking at him with an awestruck expression, is too much for Wooyoung.

He holds Yeosang's arms, giving him to turn around and actually face him. "Yeosang..." he starts, searching his eyes. "You probably already know this, but I like you... a lot. I've had feelings for you for a while now"

Yeosang's breath catches on his throat, he knows Wooyoung likes him but hearing it out loud confirms it and makes him feel good. "I like you too Wooyoung, I'm sure you know this"

Wooyoung nods while grinning widely. He pulls Yeosang closer by the waist. "Then... do you want to date?" He asks carefully while touching their noses together and moves his hands from his waist to cup his face.

Yeosang looks into his mesmerising eyes, noticing that he has one double lid and one monolid, he thinks it's beautiful. He's never seen anyone as breathtaking as Wooyoung. His eyes trail to the purple hearts on his cheeks and something stirs in his gut.

Rationally speaking, he shouldn't have even gotten close to Wooyoung. He's the son of the people who ruined his family's life. He's supposed to despise him. Any other person would stay away from Wooyoung and include him in the revenge plan.

But Yeosang isn't any other person. He's completely different from everyone else, he's got no marks. One look at him and everyone would throw words of disgust at him. So why should he do what anyone else would do?

Yeosang wants to do what he wants, so he reaches out to Wooyoung, cupping his face. "Yes, I want us to be together".

Those are all the words Wooyoung needs to hear before he's pulling him in for a kiss.

Yeosang expects it but he's still not used to the feeling of Wooyoung's soft lips on his own. The kiss is slow and steady at first, but when Wooyoung trails his fingers to grab onto his hair, Yeosang shivers at the feeling, grabbing his waist to pull them closer.

Suddenly Wooyoung is pushing him away, Yeosang stumbles in surprise, falling onto the sofa. He looks up at Wooyoung in question, had he made Wooyoung uncomfortable?

He's given no time to ask as the prince is immediately climbing onto his lap, straddling his thighs in the perfect position.

Oh.

Wooyoung hooks a finger under under Yeosang's chin and lifts his head up, swiftly kissing him again. It's faster than before but in no way hurried, the pair are intoxicated with each other. Their hands explore each other's bodies like it's their only opportunity to do so.

Yeosang moans as his mouth hangs open while Wooyoung sucks his tongue. His hands wander down to cup his ass, making the other groan and roll his hips. Yeosang gasps at the new feeling, he starts to feel hot especially where Wooyoung is sitting.

Their mouths meet again passionately, tongues curling into each other, hot breaths mixing when they take a second to breathe.

"You're so beautiful" Wooyoung says, staring at Yeosang's dazed face, lips plump from kissing and shiny with saliva. He drowns in the blissed out expression Yeosang is giving him now, wanting to make him feel good all the time. The prince trails open mouthed kisses along his jaw and down his neck.

When he bites a specific spot Yeosang moans in surprise, the grip on his thighs tightening. Wooyoung smiles as he sucks the spot and kisses it, watching the pretty pink colour bloom on his neck.

Yeosang is so drunk with everything he's feeling right now, Wooyoung is occupying all of his senses. His mind is so clouded he almost misses the knock on the door.

"Yeosang open up!" Mingi yells, startling the both of them.

Wooyoung scrambles off his lap and the pair attempt to fix their appearance before opening the door. Although the mixture of reactions when they greet their friends tells them they did a bad job.

"You were supposed to be teaching Yeosang about magic!" San says, looking scandalised.

"I did!" Wooyoung pouts.

"Yeah right. It looks like you taught him other things that isn't magic". Mingi smirks while Jongho gags in the back.

The rest of them enter while bickering about what the pair were up to until Yunho speaks up. "So are you two dating finally?"

The prince glances at Yeosang, who nods with a smile. "Yeah" Wooyoung says while taking his hand. Everyone cheers and congratulates the two, apparently seeing it coming.

With the mood all cheerful Wooyoung remembers why he gathered them all today, then grows nervous. Yeosang notices his silence and squeezes his hand, glancing at him worriedly. "What's wrong?"

All eyes are on him now, confused as to why he's looking sad when they were just celebrating him and Yeosang getting together.

"I have something to tell you guys, its about my family and our plan" Wooyoung thinks back to yesterday, when his mother had told him some surprising news. Everyone sits down and Wooyoung takes a deep breath. "My family want me to become king as soon as possible, they've already set a coronation date for next month"

Murmurs fill the room upon hearing the news, Yeosang frowns turning to him. "Why have they suddenly decided this?"

"My father is very sick, he has been for a while now. The doctors don't think he has much time left, so my parents want me to take the throne. I don't want to, there's no way I'm fit for king, even they know that but they're going to force me anyway because they don't want any other people to become purple, only my family." Wooyoung sighs. "I'm sorry guys, I don't think I'll be able to back out of this one, I know they've been thinking about this for a while now and there's a reason my mother told me so late, so I don't have time to run away or anything".

Yeosang pats his back "It's okay, you don't have a choice. We'll find a way to make things work". Everyone nods, Wooyoung will be busy now, there's no doubt his parents will be making him attend more lessons and training since he's about to be king at a young age.

"This might work in our favour! During my coronation, everyone's going to be watching, we could reveal Yeosang, expose what my parents did. The public would feel bad for Yeosang when they find out who they really are and he would slowly be accepted into society, live a normal life" Wooyoung says hurriedly. There's a hint of desperation in his voice, as if he's convinced himself that his friends hate him now or think of him as a traitor.

Yunho, who is on the other side of Wooyoung, takes his hand to calm him. "That's a good idea Wooyoung, its also okay to take it slow we have time. You must be overwhelmed with everything, we know how much of a caring friend you are and we know you're going to be busy from now on. You've got friends and even a boyfriend that don't care what you are, because we know you and what a good person you are" He pinches his cheek, making his hearts glow with shyness.

"I know I know, thank you guys. I unconsciously spent all night trying to think of ways to make the news not sound too bad so you guys wouldn't hate me. I realise now that I've been worrying for no reason. I always knew that you guys wouldn't care about it but I wasn't thinking straight". Wooyoung wonders what on earth he's done to deserve friends like this.

"Jung Wooyoung! We love you no matter what!" San pouts and the prince laughs, ruffling his friends hair.

"I was serious about the plan by the way, don't you think it would be the perfect time?" It's extremely rare to have the whole kingdom at one place at the same time, everyone always comes to watch a coronation which means everyone would be watching as Yeosang is revealed.

"It's good, but there are a lot of things that could go wrong. It's definitely going to cause an uproar, people will think you're lying because there's no solid proof, and the military might come and start attacking anyone who believes it". Jongho speaks up, there are many problems with the plan but at the same time, its a promising one.

"True, but maybe we could somehow gain some followers? It would be easier to gain the public's trust by having people back us up" Wooyoung says.

"Where would we even find followers? What would we even say to them?" Yeosang says. If they tried telling a few people about what they want to do, there's no doubt going to be rumours swarming everywhere, there will be a riot before the coronation is even near.

"Let's start with people we trust first" Wooyoung says. There are flaws to this plan but even with a possibility that it'll work, Wooyoung wants to try. He wants to make things right for Yeosang, he wants him to live like royalty as he deserves. It's what his late parents would have wanted too.

"Who?"

"Seonghwa and Hongjoong hyung"'

~

A few days later, Jongho and San are forced to do the task of getting the crystal hyungs to be their allies with the excuse that they know the way best and have met them before so would be able to convince them better.

Jongho has started to grow nervous around San. After the realisation of his fondness of the older, he's stopped his mischievous and flirty attitude towards him, not wanting to carry on with his plan anymore which has backfired.

San has definitely noticed the Jongho's lack of teasing recently, where he used to actively look for him and say random things that would make him flustered, now the younger avoids him, and even if they do converse, he always makes it short and tries to end it as soon as possible.

Today is no different, the walk to Seonghwa and Hongjoong's stall is silent, San wants to bring up his strange behaviour, he wants them to go back to how they were before, playful and friendly. He recalls earlier Jongho begging Mingi to go instead of him, but the taller had said he was too busy. San doesn't know what he's done for Jongho to be like this suddenly.

Maybe he's caught on to San's feelings for him. Jongho was probably repulsed and weirded out when he discovered that San likes him. Was he being too obvious? San thought he was hiding his feelings pretty well. Now he's driven his friend away.

He wants to confront him, apologise for making him uncomfortable for liking him but that could go well or make things worse. He sighs deeply, Jongho not even paring a glance at him. San buries his thoughts for now, focusing on their task for today. Explaining everything to Seonghwa and Hongjoong would be difficult so he tries to clear his head souring their silent walk.

Upon seeing Seonghwa, San's mood is instantly lifted. They embrace tightly as they always do, this time also hugging Hongjoong who is surprised at first then happily returns the embrace.

"What brings you two here again? Joonho right?' Seonghwa says.

"Jongho"

"Jongho"

San and Jongho correct him at the same time making the pair look at each other in surprise. San quickly looks away, the blue clovers on his cheeks brightening in embarrassment, he has no idea why he corrected Seonghwa when Jongho is just there. He squeezes his eyes, blaming it on his clover urge to correct everyone all the time.

"Sorry, I'm quite bad with names. Come in, I'll make some tea" Seonghwa says bashfully.

The two head in without looking at each other, Hongjoong following after them. San takes a seat and watches his hyung, their stall is in a tent which looks small on the outside but is actually huge in the inside (with the help of some spells), even though he's been here many times, he will always be fascinated by their tent.

"So what's up? Is this about the crystal- was the one I gave you the wrong one?" Hongjoong asks, taking a seat opposite them while Seonghwa follows soon after.

"Well, yes and no. We may not have been telling you the full truth this whole time." San says, examining their faces, hoping they're not upset at them for lying. But they only look curious, letting San continue. "We have something to tell you guys, it may sound fake but just hear us out because e need your help".

Jongho starts explaining everything. From 22 years ago when it all started, all ther way to now, when Yeosang gains magic.

What's strange is that neither look shocked while hearing the story, only curious. "So you're saying that stone I have you had purple magic and only reacted to your friend because he's actually the real prince?" Seonghwa asks.

San and Jongho nod, looking at the couple weirdly when they gasp in realisation. "So it's true! That the current royals are impostors"

Jongho widens his eyes. "There are people who know about this?" He wonders how he's never heard this before, usually he's the one who knows all the gossip.

Hongjoong shakes his head. "It's a very small rumour, and even if people spread it, it doesn't go far because it's such a scandalous idea, people are afraid to be arrested for treason".

"Who started this rumour? Why do they think this?" San asks, this could be crucial information to get the supporters they need.

"It's my brother actually. He found a mysterious note a few years back and he gathered others with similar notes and they formed a sort of council, unofficial and secret of course." Hongjoong says.

"What was the note about?" Jongho asks.

"It's something our father wrote 22 years ago, apparently he was a advisor for the king. The note said that the generals family are taking over and that he thinks it woks end well for the royals. I'm assuming he wrote this in case something bad happens"

"Like everyone's memories being wiped" San whispers in shock. It makes sense, the people close and loyal to the king must have done everything in their power to stop it and made back up plans in case something went wrong. "So? Have you asked your father- what about the others who found similar notes?"

Hongjoong shrugs "my father has always been a teacher, not a royal advisor. When my brother showed him the note he said he doesn't remember anything and told him to stop playing games. Same with the others.

San sighs, what was the use in writing these notes if they weren't going to believe it anyway. "Wooyoung will have his coronation in a month. We wanted to reveal Yeosang and the fake royals there but we need supporters."

Seonghwa raises his eyebrows. "Wooyoung's becoming king already? He's not ready"

"He's being forced because his fathers sick, they want him to take the throne as soon as possible."

Hongjoong nods. "Ok. I'll talk to my brother, I'm sure he'll be ecstatic to hear what you just told us, they'll definitely want to support you and help provide evidence".

San let's out a breath of relief. "Thank you so much hyung, you guys have helped us more than you could imagine" Jongho nods too and expressed his gratitude.

"It's nothing, you guys come whenever you want and we'll help you as much as we can" Hongjoong says, laughing when San comes to hug him.

San and Jongho leave with a good feeling. Somehow every time they visit the crystal hyungs they leave with so much more than what they came for. San feels giddy for the first minute before he glances at Jongho and feels awkward now.

The younger is walking in silence, a safe distance between them. San frowns, wondering why he's acting so different.

"Isn't it great that there are people who know about this? We actually have hope!" He says, trying to lighten the mood. Maybe Jongho is just having a bad day today. San doesn't want to be conceited and assume this is about him.

But Jongho just nods, not even sparing him a glance. San thinks about how he had been all smiley and chatty with the hyungs, he can't help but think that the younger's bad mood is because of him.

He tries to move closer to him, being as subtle as he can but somehow Jongho notices, as if he's hyper aware of San's actions, and moves away. He furrows his eyebrows, thinking of everything he could've done to make him act like this. Jongho had always been the one who made the moves, he started it with all the sweet words and actions. So why did he stop?

"Hey. Are you angry with me?" San asks, he hates being confused. It's in his nature to clear things up if something confuses him. He can't stand being in the unknown.

Jongho seems to be startled at the question, not expecting San to be so forward. He still doesn't look at him. "No".

"Then why are you being like this? I thought we were friends, you've been nice to me all this time but now you're all of a sudden acting so cold. Do you get why I'm frustrated and confused?"

Guilt flashes through his face. Jongho never wanted it be be like this, but he's got no choice. "I just don't feel that close to you, we barely know each other". He says quietly.

San's face drops. "Are you okay Jongho? Is there someone hurting or threatening you? Why did you just lie to me, you know you can tell me-"

Jongho sighs loudly, startling San. "It's the truth! I don't think we're friends, I just was nice to you because I thought we could be but I've realised that I don't want to be close with you". He finally looks at San with glossy eyes.

San's heart sinks. He doesn't exactly know what the younger is thinking but he can tell that his mind is conflicted. He grabs Jongho's arm and pulls them away from the crowd so they can talk in peace. "What's made you decide this? I thought we were close Jongho, I like it when you're kind to me, hang out with me, make me laugh. I want to be close with you."

Jongho looks down, not able to look at him. "Well I don't want to. So respect my decision please".

San grits his teeth. "Look me in the eye and say that again. If you can, then I'll respect your wishes".

The younger looks up at him with a frown. "I-" he doesn't even manage to get past the second word before he's looking down again, sighing.

San softens at the sight, moving closer to him. "Jongho-ya, it's my fault. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable, you've probably noticed that I've developed feelings for you and now I've driven you away. I swear I'll stop thinking of you like that, I want us to go back to how we were. I'm sorry".

Drops of water fall onto the floor and San looks up to see if it's raining. He frowns at the clear sky, then looks at Jongho in worry.

"I'm sorry hyung. It's not you, it's me. I'm scared. Because I like you too" Jongho blurts out. He's being out of character even for himself, he doesn't remember the last time he's cried. And now he's hurt his hyung.

San freezes, replaying what he just heard in his head. "What are you scared of? What the others will say? Oh Jongho you should have told m-"

"We're not supposed to like each other."Jongho says with the tears still falling. "We're too different. You can do so much better than me. I- wasn't supposed to fall for you". It wasn't supposed to happen like this Jongho wasn't supposed to catch feelings, he was just supposed to play with a blue's heart and break it. So why is his one breaking too?

He feels a hand under his chin, gently tilting it up to look at San. "It doesn't matter if we're different, we can't control our feelings Jongho. I feel so good when I'm with you, you make me feel so happy I've never felt like this before. It doesn't get any better than this. You're the one for me Choi Jongho. Okay? So ignore what other people say and do what you want. If you fell for me then please don't ignore me. I want to make you happy like you do to me".

San wipes a falling tear from Jongho's cheek, even while crying he's still so beautiful. He caresses the red diamonds on his cheeks. "I want to be close to you" Jongho says, this time saying it while keeping eye contact. He accidentally spilled everything so there's no turning back now.

San nods quickly to show that he feels the same way. Jongho still looks sad and San just moves closer, cupping his face with both hands. "I want to kiss you, can I?"

Jongho momentarily widens his eyes, wondering if this is really happening. "Yeah" he whispers shyly but they're close enough for the other to hear.

San connects their lips, thumbs brushing his cheeks as their mouths move slowly against each other's, it feels so good and he wants more. Though he pulls away after a few seconds, not wanting to scare Jongho away with their first kiss. "Promise me to tell me if something is bothering you okay? Don't carry all that burden on yourself, share it with hyung even if I can't solve it, telling someone will ease your mind".

San has their foreheads pressed together so Jongho can't see anything but San. He figures there's no going back now, his plan has failed. Somehow he's glad it has. This is so much better.

"I promise".
