"We'll just have to work on this place whenever we can find the time." Tim says, leading his boyfriend out of the bedroom.

"And when will that be?" Adam asks sadly, knowing their free time was very limited.

"We don't work on Sundays." Tim answers. He knew that Lilly always made Sam go to church on Sundays. "The house just needs a good cleaning. The repairs outside we can do after we move it."

"We'll need a few things. Like towels, bed covers and pillows, food, and soap." Adam says as they meet up with Chance and Rob.

"We can just make a list of everything we need and Nate and I can borrow Sam's wagon and go to town to get the stuff." Rob offers.

"I still have some of the money that Sam gave us." Chance says.

"I still have all of mine. Considering Adam and I didn't even get to spend a whole day." Tim chuckles. "Maybe he'll let us keep it."

"I have some but not a lot." Rob says. "That hotel and restaurant were kind of expensive."

"I have all mine too. I used it in the poker game but won it all back plus extra." Adam says with a smile.

"I'm sure Austin and Nate will come back broke. I'm pretty sure they went with the high dollar whores." Tim chuckles as they walk back to Sam's house leading their horses behind them.

After putting their horses back into the corral, they go to the barn to change into their work clothes. Things needed to be done in the garden.

"Sam, look." Lilly smiles as she looks out the kitchen window.

"Well, I'll be d*mn." Sam chuckles as he joins her at the window on his crutches.

Tim, Chance and Adam were working hard in the garden. Watering the plants and hoeing weeds that had started growing. Rob was feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs that Lilly had not had time to collect.

"Well, sweetheart, I think we've won." Sam smiles.

"I hope so." Lilly says, laying her head on her husband's shoulder. "It would break my heart if they were to leave."

"Oh, don't worry your pretty head about that." Sam says, kissing her forehead. "Those boys aren't going anywhere."

Tim looks up from his work when he hears riders approaching.

"Back so soon? We weren't expecting you two back until tomorrow." Tim says as Austin and Nate start to remove their saddles.

"Those whores are expensive." Austin replies.

Tim chuckles as he shakes his head. Yep, they were broke.

"You guys need to go change into your work clothes. We could use some help." Tim says as he returns to his work.

"But I thought we had a few days off." Nate says as he and Austin put their horses into the corral with the others.

"Well, that was before Sam broke his leg. The sooner we get done, the sooner we can show you something." Tim replies as he continues to work.

"What do you have to show us?" Austin asks, leaning on the fence they had put around the garden.

"As I said, the sooner we get this done, the sooner you'll find out. Now. Go change." Tim states firmly.

"God, I hate surprises." Austin chuckles.

"Oh, I think you'll like this surprise." Chance smiles.

"Ugh! You guys are killing me." Austin laughs, shaking his head. "Okay, we'll be right back."

With the extra help, the work was soon finished. They even planted some of the seeds that Lilly had picked up in town.

"Guess that's about it." Tim says as he looks over their work. "I'll go fill Sam in on what we got done. You guys can cool off."

"Honey, you don't have to knock." Lilly smiles as she opens the door for the tall brunette.

"That's the polite thing to do, Mam." Tim smirks as he tips the brim of his hat to her. "Where's Sam?"

"In the kitchen." Sam calls out.

"Are you supposed to be getting some rest?" Tim asks as he walks into the kitchen.

"For me, this is resting. Normally I'd be outside working." Sam chuckles softly.

"We got everything weeded again. Planted some of the seeds that you had gotten and got everything watered." Tim says, taking off his hat and sitting down at the table with the old cowboy. "Anything else needing to be done?"

"Yep, you boys need to take the rest of the day off." Sam smirks.

"Well, we were wanting to show Nate and Austin the house." Tim nods slightly.

"Soooo, you're staying?" Lilly asks with a smile.

"Looks like you're stuck with us." Tim chuckles. "But, Sam, there's something I need to ask."

"Shoot." Sam says, leaning his arms on the table giving the young outlaw his full attention.

"Ummm..." Tim says, looking down at the table as if he were embarrassed to ask. "Uh, the money you gave us..."

"It's your's, son." Sam smiles.

"Adam and I still have all of ours. Rob and Chance still have some left. Of course, Austin and Nate are broke but if you need it back...." Tim says, looking up at the older man.

"I don't need it, Tim. I told you it was yours." Sam says, patting the brunette on the hand.

"Well, I mean, we could use things for the house." Tim shrugs.

"The mercantile in town probably has everything you need. He even has some furniture in the back room. You might find a table that you like. If you wait for me to make you one, you may be eating sitting on the floor. I'm old and slow." Sam laughs.

"Could we use your buckboard?" Tim asks.

** a/n: Just in case some of you don't know what a buckboard is.

"Of course. What did Austin and Nate think about the house?" Sam asks.

"They haven't seen it yet. We haven't told them anything yet besides that we have something to show them." Tim smiles.

"Boy, I bet Austin is biting at the bit." Sam laughs.

"That's an understatement." Tim chuckles as he stands up and brushes his hair back to put on his hat. "Thanks, Sam."

"No problem, son." Sam smiles.

"Tim, if you need any help cleaning the place up just let me know. I'd be happy to help." Lilly says with a sweet smile.

"You don't think we can do it?" Tim asks with a smirk and a raised brow.

"Actually? No." Lilly replies still smiling sweetly, tilting her head.

"You're probably right." Tim laughs as he is leaving.

Tim walks outside to find the others cooling off under a shade tree.

"He gave us the rest of the day off." Tim says as he sits down on the ground next to Adam. "I also asked him about the money he gave us."

"And?" Chance asks.

"He said it was ours to do what we want." Tim answers.

"Y'all actually have some left?" Austin asks.

"Every cent." Tim smiles.

"Me too." Adam adds.

"Most of mine." Chance chimes in.

"About half." Rob replies.

"Well, d*mn." Austin sighs as he hangs his head.

"Hey, Kid. Sam gave us that money to enjoy ourselves. And you did. Don't feel bad." Tim says.

"So what were you wanting to show us?" Austin says, lifting his head to look at the brunette.

"Oh, yeah." Tim says as he stands and helps his lover to his feet. "This way."

Austin and Nate shrug as they get up to follow the couple.

They walk the short distance and around the small grove of trees, Tim points.

"This." Tim says with a smile.

"Where the hell did that come from? I don't remember ever seeing that." Austin says as he stares at the house.

"Who lives there?" Nate asks as he eyes the house.

"As of today? We do." Adam giggles.

"WHAT??!!" Austin and Nate ask loudly.

"We also have paying jobs." Chance adds.

"Wait. What?" Austin asks again, shaking his head trying to make sense of everything he was being told.

"This is Sam and Lilly's old house. We didn't see it because it was overgrown with trees and brush. He gave it to us." Adam explains with a huge smile.

"He's also hired us to work for him." Rob adds.

"We'll actually be getting paid?" Nate asks, his eyes widening with disbelief.

"Yep." Rob nods.

"Bottom line is...." Tim says as he looks around at the two shocked faces of his gang members. "We're done."
