Naga's prize.

Again, I love you guys you're the sweetest. And the only reason why I continue to write for these morons.

And because of you, I'm bringing coby back, if the pic is there I tinkered with his design a bit.

I honestly didn't expect so many people to care about him. Thank you all~! *hugs*

As a child your parents would always terrify you with this horrid story about a snake tailed beast.

Its violet eyes would glow in the dark, stalking its next victim. It would rattle it's tail to catch you off guard before dragging you off to its den to feed.

Sometimes it would kill for sport, leaving men petrified within the forest. You'd never meet its gaze or else your heart would turn to stone.

Over the years, men had tried to kill the beast to keep the townsfolk safe, yet none of them had never returned.

But.. What was left of them was a gruesome sight.

A severed head was found at the towns outskirts, as a warning to stay away from the beast.

Shed snake skin could be found, and as you've heard, you never try and keep it for it is a bad omen.

At night it would feed on livestock, only leaving sheep's wool and feathers in its bloody wake.

Being that your father was so protective, he had never let you leave the house. If you ever did, your brother would go with you.

But never at night, that was the number one rule. Never to leave once the sun had set.

However, one afternoon your shopping had taken longer than expected. The roads were all muddy from the rain from the night before.

And you had to carry far more things than normal, since your brother had been recovering from a cold, you had to do most of his chores.

Your father reluctantly let you go, although he wasn't too happy about it. He had to stay home and watch over him and your baby brother.

You slowly made your way down the dirt mud filled roads, heavy bags stacked high in your arms, trying not to fall or drop anything.

Since winter was almost here, the sun had set long ago. The days only got shorter and shorter.

And you swore your senses had been playing tricks on you, you hoped it was just some children playing with maracas and not what you thought it was.

Soft hissing could be heard, and you froze in place. Your heart hammering out of your chest as a tall figure slowly slithered up to you.

It had to be the beast.. No animal you knew was that tall with a head of venomous vipers, its tail had to be at least nine feet long, strong and green with violet diamonds.

It.... Didn't attack you it just.. Stared down at you, perched back on its tail with its arms crossed over it's chest. "You really shouldn't be out here." He says.

It could talk!? Your knees shook in place as you kept your eyes down on the ground. You knew never to make direct eye contact with it.

Its boney hand slowly reached for you, and you saw spots in your vision, and before you knew it your body had fallen to the ground with the heavy bags spilling to the side.

Luckily something had cushioned your fall.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You had woken up with a jolt, cold sweat going down your face as you quickly tried to sit up. Something was wrapped around you.
It was warm and smooth, and soft to the touch despite being scaly. The beast had its tail coiled around you but.. Not in a suffocating way. You could breathe just fine. And you could move in his grasp.
He turned to you but kept his eyes from yours. "Good morning sssleeping beauty. Did you have a niccce nap?" He asks, fork tongue flickering as he spoke.
You weakly nod, terrified at what he could or would do. You knew what he was capable of, the stories your parents told you only made you shiver more in his hold.
"Don't be ssso jumpy girly, I'm not gonna hurt cha." He stretches his arms. "Especially sssomeone who fed me well."
Looking over your shoulder you could see the grocery bags you had previously, he had went through them and helped himself to the fruits.
"W-what are you going to do w-with me?" You manage to stutter out, even if he had eaten the fruits you had bought, with his size you could tell that that was just a snack.
"Keep ya here for a while. Its getting cold out and I wouldn't mind the extra warmth." He smiles giving you a soft squeeze with his tail.
You squeak both from his time and the squeeze from the strong thick tail of his. The rattle on the end of it brushed against you cheek.
"Get comfortable. You're gonna be here a while." The snake chuckles, taking a bite from a juicy red apple as he sent you a wink.
End. I have a strange obsession with naga's/lamia's.
Thank you all, for caring. And encouraging me on bringing him back. <3
