Igniter x reader cuz I have no idea where the element's have been.

Seriously, when was the last time I wrote about them? Can anyone remember?

Its been too long I can tell you that.

Two smol announcements: There is going to be another 'to make you laugh' coming up, and I want to update 'Maid for chaos' but I have no idea what to have happen next.

Being with a fire element wasn't exactly easy, but the two of you made it work. Even if you did have to put tin foil on most of your furniture.

Not to mention Igniter's raging temper and short fuse. He was like a bomb that could go off anytime if even if you barely poked it.

Aspen, his bother, told you not to worry too much about his temper. It was all caused by the pent up fire magic he held within his magic. He did have lava in his marrow after all.

You didn't even know what brought it up, but Aspen had warned you to be careful if you two have ever gotten intimate, since you could end up with third degree burns from his magic alone.

You two haven't yet, and you were far too embarrassed to ever bring it up to the fire element. You knew he didn't like to be touched, plus touching him anyway would sting your finger tips.

The positive parts of your relationship with the fire element were that he was always warm for you. He smelled of burnt wood and spicy like bell peppers.

He may be a total asshole most of the time, but underneath he was the sweetest and the most protective.

He always made sure you had what you needed, and always waited until you ate before he did.

It was oddly cute, which normally would be a word that pissed him off. But when you said it, it always made his cheeks flush that adorable shade of orange you loved.

He always cooked for you too, surprisingly he never burned it. He'd cook it with his fire breath or with small flickers from his phalange tips.

He had even tried to give you a bouquet of flowers, yet he sneezed and burned them to a crisp. He cussed himself out, making you laugh.

But one thing he suffered from, was a burning jealousy. He'd get irritated more than usual whenever you spent time with his brothers. 

Like today, you were sitting at the edge of the beach while you and Octavian made small talk, Igniter sat behind you with his arms crossed and a scowl on his face.

It wasn't until the water element made you laugh, and hugged you when the fire element finally lost it.

While your back was turned, he put his fingers in the water and soon enough the water started boiling making Octavian quickly let go of you and yelp.

"Iggy!" You yelled, putting your hands on you hips, A frown on your face. He rolled his eyes in reply.

You huffed and helped the water element up, slinging his arm on over your shoulders to walk him back to Aspen's cottage to get his burns checked out.

Igniter only felt more anger course through him.

Octavian laid on the loveseat, holding his knees to his chest as he sweat and shook.

Aspen was brewing something in his cooking pot, putting many different spices as well as healing tea leaves into the pot as well.

"Is he going to be okay?" You ask the earth element, Octavian's head in your lap, as you tried to comfort him.

Aspen stirred his brew with a wooden spoon, after throwing one of the blossoms from his antlers into it. "He'll be alright momentarily, once he drinks this the burning will go away. What had caused Igniter to do something like this?"

"I don't know. Jealousy maybe?"

The earth element hums, pouring the brew into a flower shaped tea cup, before walking into the sitting area to join you both.

"I can only assume so as well. Igniter has always been jealous of Octi here. He always was mother's favorite." He puts a hand under the water element's chin, helping him drink the brew.

"Maybe he thinks you'll be the same way. Maybe he thinks you'll leave him for someone who cannot hurt you." Aspen replies, gently putting a hand on Octavian's forehead.

"What? No. I wouldn't do that! I know he can't control all that pent up fire but, I wouldn't ever leave him. I love him!" You sigh.

Aspen softly smiles. "You have no idea how much it means to me hearing you say that. I'm glad my brother has a woman such as you to be there for him. Better or worse."

Octavian let's out a soft sigh, and closes his sockets, finally laying flat on his back as his body heat slowly starts to cool down.

Aspen smiles and turns to you. "Why don't you get back to him and talk this out? I'll keep an eyelight on Octavian."

You smile back and tuck a pillow under the water element's skull, ready to take your leave.

"Y/n, take this." Aspen gently grabs your wrist, making you stop and turn to him.

He hands you an extra tea cup, the cup was cold to the touch, and there was a deep blue flower in the center of the 'tea'.

"What's this for?" You ask, holding it in your hands carefully not to drop it.

The earth element sends you a cheeky wink, with a smirk. "You'll thank me later~!"

That tone of his scares you.

With a slow pace, careful not to drop the tea, you had finally made it back to Igniter's cabin.

He sat on the porch with his arms crossed. His amber eyes meet yours and they are filled with guilt.

"Hey.. I see you spent time with veggie burger. Is.. Is Octavian okay?" He asks as you sit next to him with the tea cup in hand.

"Yeah, Aspen made him a potion or something, he's napping now. Why did you boil him?" You ask him, with a lifted brow.

He sighs. "I don't know. I'm a dumbass.. Fish boy always was the favourite.. Its probably because he didn't almost burn the house down as a baby bones."

You let out a soft sigh and wrap an arm around his shoulders. "Its okay Iggy, you couldn't control the powers you had at such a young age."

He sighs and turns to you. "What's with the tea cup?"

"Oh, Aspen gave it to me on my way out. I don't really know why.." You hand him the tea cup. "Maybe it's for you?"

He shrugs his shoulders and takes the tea cup from your hands, he takes a sip from it.

He suddenly let's out a long sigh out of bliss, his eyes flickering to a soft dim blue, like fire would before it be blown out.

"Ohh.. I don't know what this is, but its f*cking great." He drinks it again, his normally tense figure finally going slack. Even his body heat had went down from forest fire, to a lit match in the blink of an eye.

Once the cup is empty, he sets it aside and suddenly pulls you into a hug, body being pleasantly warm instead of burning hot. "Y/n, spitfire I'm sorry for being a jealous d*ck. I just didn't want you realising I'm a f*cking mess and leave me for Octave.. I mean, he is sweeter and more sensitive...and nicer."

You wrap your arms around his neck. "I'd never leave you, I love you, you dumbass." You giggle making him smile with his rare one.

He tilts your chin up, and presses his fangs against you lips, his right hand going through your hair as the kiss became more passionate.

You clutched his coat tightly,  kissing him back with same amount of passion you had for him. Proving your love to him.

He quickly takes you by the hand, and leads you back inside of the cabin, his now blue eyes holding nothing but the love and admiration he had for you.

And he was more then willing to return the favor, for all of the things you've done for him.

Meanwhile....

Aspen stood at his kitchen window, a cup of tea in his hand, while the other rested on his hip.

He hears a yawn from the couch, and turns his head to see the water element sitting up and rubbing his sockets.

"How long was I out for?" Octavian asks, his blue eyes still a bit fuzzy from sleep.

Aspen sends him a soft smile in return. "Only a few hours. How are you feeling?"

The water element joins him in the kitchen, his arms crossed over his chest. "Much better. Where did y/n go?" He asks.

The earth element shakes his head. "She's helping Igniter with his anger issues, with a little help from me."

"Octavian, I'm going to need you and Alistair to make it rain in a few." The earth element continues.

Suddenly his front door is opened and the air element had ran into the living room, his wings folded yet a panicked look on his face.

"Aspen! I have no idea why, but a fire just broke out! Its a small one, but we should really get to it!" Alistair says, pointing outside.

Aspen smiles. "There's your cue, take your time. Oh and boys?"

The air and water element turn to him, one last time. 

"The flames had finally been burnt out."

The twins look at each other in confusion, before rushing out the door. 

Aspen sighs. "They can thank y/n for that. Finally, we can live in peace without his anger burning the fields."
