"Are you sure about this?" Pumpkin asks, tilting her head as Cupid tied her corset.

"You'll do fine! Besides, your cousins will be there." Cupid smiles, kissing her heart stripes.

"Really? I can't wait then!" She giggles, flapping her wings.

Cupid chuckles and hugs her.

Pumpkin wanders the halls in curiosity, her sensitive ears perking at everything around her. Humans and monsters roamed the halls, rushing to their lockers, or classes.

"Um.. A little help?"

Pumpkin turns her head at the meek voice, coming from a locker? She quickly opens it with one of her claws, breaking the lock.

A short girl fell onto the floor, paper stuck in her hair, sticky notes thrown all over her, with insults written on each one.

"Aphrodite? Are you okay?" Pumpkin asks, quickly helping her onto her feet.

"Y-yeah.. No harm done. I guess they aren't fans of snakes?" She sighs, tossing the sticky notes into a trash bin.

Aphrodite was a gorgon, her hair being six mismatched snakes, two small wings on her back and a heart tipped tail. She always avoided eye contact, she was far more different then both of her parents. She wore a purple sweater dress with a heart cut over her sternum.

"I'm sorry." Pumpkin wraps her in a warm hug, patting a few snakes on the head.

"Hey guys!" A cheerful voice shouts, a small form bouncing over to them.

Pumpkin and Aphrodite smiled as the younger girl approached them with a giddy smile. Noel Winterfire, their third cousin.

She was younger then them by a year or two, she was far more smaller then them too. Her horns were swirled with red and white, looking like peppermint.

A piece of holly next to her right horn, her green eyes sparkled in joy. She had red stars on her cheeks and she always dresses for the Christmas season, even if it was hot outside. Her tail was tipped with a Christmas tree.

"Daddy said you would be here! Do you know all your classes yet? Mommy took me here for the open house! So I know where everything is!" Noel bounced in place, her joy and excitement making them giggle.

"Umm where's the science room?" Aphrodite asks.

Noel's smile widens. "Right this way! See you at lunch Pumpkin!"

Aphrodite got pulled away by the energetic skele girl, leaving Pumpkin to laugh.

"Welcome to the library, is there anything you need help with?" A girl asks, her voice soft.

Pumpkin smiles and flutters over to her, holding out her schedule. "Yeah, where's the language arts room?"

The see through girl smiles faintly. "Room 38. Second floor."

"I was looking all over for it! Thanks... Umm?"

The girl tips her hat, her lavender swirled eyes lighten up a bit. "Morticia Clockwork, lovely to meet you miss Pumpkin."

"You too!" Pumpkin beams. "Feel free to join me and my cousins at lunch if you want!"

Morticia nods. "Looking forward to it."

"Great! See you then!" With a final wave a pink and orange flies out of the library.

After introducing her self in front of the class, which wasn't as embarrassing for her as it would be normally. Pumpkin took a seat next to a fluffy eared girl.

"Hi! I'm Pumpkin Bloodarrow!"

The girl beside her blew her bangs out of her face then half smiled. "Yeah I know. You've been all over the place haven't you sweet tooth?"

Her voice was heavy with an Irish accent, she wore a jean jacket and a torn sleeveless top. Ripped black jeans and green high tops. Her eye lights were navy blue with clover pupils.

She was tall with fluffy grey hair, pulled back into a pony tail with the ends dyed green? Or naturally? It was hard to tell. Wolf ears perked on top of her soft skull, pierced with clover ear rings.

Pumpkin blushed light pink and giggled. "Yeah, it seems I never got my dads sense of direction."

The wolf girl laughs. "Luckily I got my dads sense of smell. Doesn't matter if I don't gotta nose or not."

They girls laugh back and forth. Sharing stupid stories from childhood, stories of their parents.

Harley turned out to be the wolf girls name, and they had made plans to meet for lunch.

"School is f**king pointless. I'm an android do they really think they can teach me shit I already know?" Astrid complains, crossing her arms over her desk.

"Why are you here then?" Pumpkin asks, looking over Astrid's shoulder seeing that her papers were already complete.

"I think my parents just sent me here for something to do. I don't know, its f**king dumb." Astrid rolls her eyes.

"When I get back I better not have a dumb sibling waiting to hug me. I'll drop kick it in the throat."

Pumpkins eyes widen.

"What the f**k was that class?" Astrid groans.

Morticia giggles. "I take it didn't go well?"

Aphrodite smiles. "What teacher did you get?"

"Stupid ass Mr.Thompson! And what's up with his f**king hair line?"

Harley laughs and pounds her fist on the table roughly, making lunch trays shake.

Noel shakes her head and pops another spicy cinnamon mint into her mouth.

"Maybe we should hang out after school? My mom makes the best strawberry shortcake?" Pumpkin suggests, looking over the girls at the table.

"Fook yeah I want cake! My dads suck at cooking!" Harley wraps an arm around Pumpkins shoulders. "Your mom is Cupid right?"

She nods.

Many eye lights sparkle. "Hell yeah! We'll be right over!" Each of them shout.

Pumpkin giggles.

Bonus!

"So how did it go- oh hello ladies. Are you friends of Pumpkin's?" Cupid asks, smiling at the set of three new girls behind his daughter.

"CAKE NOW!"

Cupid's eyes widen. "Hallow get my cooking tray. Now."

Hallow quickly nods and hops over the couch, running to the kitchen.
