We don't see the elements much do we? And I don't think any of em are shipped that much.

"Ugh its almost that time of year again." The fire element complained, his arms crossed over his chest in a huff.

Aspen smiles. "You mean winter? Although I loathe the cold, it is rather beautiful isn't it?"

"Are you sure we're prepared for it?" Octavian asks nervously, fiddling with his fingers.

Alistair threw his arms in the air. "Of course we are! You keep the water thawed out for the little critters, I control the storms! Igniter keeps the pathways melted and Aspen keeps the trees alive during the frost!"

"Let's hope father winter is kind to us this year." Aspen mutters, walking over to the kitchen to settle the whistling kettle.

Octavian walks to the front door. "Well, I'm going to make sure the seals aren't fighting again, I'll be back for dinner." With one final wave, the water element had left the tree house.

Alistair adjusted his goggles. "Me too! I'll me back before you know it! I gotta check on those chicks that Madam pecks had a few day ago!"

He had dashed off the balcony, leaving only a feather behind.

Igniter rolled his eyes. "I want to be anywhere but here. Bye pothead."

The fire element left only sparks in his wake as the Phoenix flew off into the distance.

~Frostbite~

The fire element went on another one of his afternoon walks as he always did, his burnt coat dragging against the dirt path, charred from his footsteps.

When a single snowflake fell onto the tip of the ruby on his forehead, he growled and melted it instantly.

"Stupid snow.. Ugh. Why can't I just sleep until its all melted!?" He growled, his cloak getting burnt again with his temper.

"Aww, you don't like it? But its such a wonderful time of the year! I carve those snowflakes my self you know!" A chipper voice says suddenly.

"Gah! What the f*ck?" He quickly turns only to find a white dressed skeleton, a massive collar of fluff around his neck, with large wings sparkling with snowflakes.

"Hi! I'm Flurry!" The moth smiles sweetly.

The fire element rolls his eyes. "Whatever, its not like you scared me or anything. I just wasn't expecting you.. Who the hell are you anyway?"

"I'm the Prince of winter! I'm just checking out the place, just imagining it covered in snow! Maybe I could freeze that lake so you and your brothers could ice skate!" Flurry grins, nibbling on his sleeves out of excitement.

Igniter lifts a brow. "You're the prince of winter? Get the f*ck outta here its not December yet!"

The moth shakes his head. "Sorry! No can do! With the strange weather patterns here, I'm afraid I'm going to have to start early!"

Flurry finally stands on the ground, his wings spreading to their full wing span, his antennas perk, he flaps his wings and snow begins to fall lightly. A star made of ice appears under his feet, he giggles as the wind picks up.

The fire element feels his eye twitch, snowflakes melting and making him wince once they land on him. The freezing water stung.

He stands his ground as flames begin to spawn from his hands, melting the flakes around him, even the ice star began to melt.

"Knock it off! That f*cking hurts!" He hisses, making the moth stop.

The moth quickly starts to hover again. "Oh my goodness! I am so sorry! I didn't think it'd hurt you!"

His cold hands gently hold the the tall male's cheeks, he looked over him in concern.

"Let go of me you f*cking powdered donut!" Igniter hisses, wincing from the freezing touch of the moth.

"You're so.. Warm?" The moth's eyes widen in amazement, his cheeks flushing a light blue as he caressed the flame breathing skeleton.

His cheeks burn a light orange as he grits his teeth. "And stop looking at me like that! You're making me feel weird!"

Suddenly he's pulled into a massive hug, the moth's fluff surrounding him, a chill went down his spine.

"H-hey! I said l-let me go! Damn it!" He hisses, cheeks flushed a vibrant orange.

"So warm! Like a toasty fireplace!" Flurry giggles, hugging him tighter, his body temperature finally reaching a positive number.

The fire element sighed and just let the moth hug him, secretly liking it.. Not that he needed to know!

~Sunflower~

Aspen smiled as the bundle of bunnies hopped around him, a few of them in his lap comfortably.

The yellow ball of fluff smiles back, currently weaving a flower crown. "Its amazing how they just get close up to you like that!" He points to the butterflies fluttering around the earth elements antlers.

Aspen shrugs his shoulders, making a bush behind him bloom with bright yellow roses. "They know I mean them no harm. I would protect them with my life."

He runs his soft phalanges down the rabbits back gently. "And, I've always loved the creatures the earth has blessed us with."

Mari smiles and sits next to Aspen, now wearing the flower crown with his hands in his lap.

"After all, it blessed me with you." Aspen says, his green eyes meeting the bee's violet ones.

Mari's cheeks flush a light yellow. "Oh come on! I'm not that special!"

Aspen shakes his head. "You're cute when you're in denial."

The bee's cheeks burn a bright gold as he quickly hides his face into the chest floof he had. "Mari isn't here right now! He's in fluff town!"

The earth element just let's out a soft chuckle, taking a sip of his honey sweet tea.

~Crimson waves~

Octavian walked along the sea floor, humming softly as he looked over each of the fish and turtles.

It was strange, this part of the water had gotten much colder this year.. Normal it was lukewarm like the rest of the lake.

He suddenly froze, he knew that laugh anywhere.  "Bryce."

"Ello there angelfish. Fancy seein' you here, come to check on little ol me?" The siren smirks, casually circling the water element.

Octavian shook his head. "I had to make sure you haven't eaten anyone else. Although it pains me, some humans love to fish up here. And you're scaring them all away!"

The siren chuckles. "Isn't that what you wanted? I thought you hated all those pesky humans who slaughtered your little pets with no mercy? All they do is trash the place and you know it. I'm doing you a favor!"

His clawed hands rest on his shoulders as he speaks with a soft and sultry tone. The water element shivers.

"E-eating them isn't doing me a favor!" He argues, crossing his arms and trying to ignore the sirens call.

"They're staying away aren't they?" Bryce snickers, running a single claw down Octavian's cheek.

"Y-yes but-"

"But nothin' angelfish. I'm keepin' your little pets safe aren't I?"

Octavian nods. "Y-yes."

The siren swims to face him, his hands on his cheeks. "And I'm doin' a great job on it aren't I?"

He let's out a squeak once the siren pulls him into his 'lap'. "Don't you worry 'bout a thing angelfish. I'll keep ya and your babies safe.."

A purr is heard.

A kiss is pressed to the sapphire on his forehead delicately for someone who has such sharp teeth.

The water element's cheeks burn a deep ocean blue as he hides his face. The sirens tail is wrapped around him gently, being careful of the barbs.

"You're so cute angelfish.~ And I've haven't had desert yet.~"

The siren pecks his cheek with a chuckle. "I'm kiddin' of course.. Unless.. You want one of my songs to help you out.~"

Octavian shakes his head, hiding his face behind his sleeves. The siren just chuckles and holds him in a tight embrace.
