Finding a job was harder than you thought, but you didn't expect to run into a tall skeleton who had asked you to watch over his daughter for a couple of hours.

You've babysat tons of times in the past, so this shouldn't be any different. Except she was going to be a monster's child. Meaning she had magic.

Hopefully she doesn't float away or turn herself invisible or something.

He had given you directions to a rather large manor. It looked almost like a Victorian castle, but with a beautiful rose garden out in the front of it.

Hallow was outside to greet you, he held a spider themed umbrella over his head, shielding himself from the sunlight.

"Ah, y/n. You're here, did you have any trouble finding the place?" He asks with a slight chuckle.

You smile up at him. "A little, I got turned around in the woods on the way here."

The vampire smiles back. "Everyone does. Honestly I keep telling the wife that we need land markers."

You laugh along with him as he opens the front door for you. "Please excuse the mess, our batty darling tends to leave her toys out in the halls."

The inside was beautiful, dark wooden floors with vibrant fuchsia rugs, many photos of friends and a horned woman hung on the walls.

A staircase to the right with fake roses wrapped around the railing, some pumpkin garland hung from the lights.

"So, where is the little kiddo?" You ask him, silently admiring the house.

Hallow smiles. "In the kitchen, right this vway."

You've never seen such a large pink kitchen in your life. A shorter skeleton dressed in a pink sweater stood over at the counter, smearing red icing on sugar cookies. Purple bat sprinkles sprinkled onto them.

"Honeybat. The babysitter is here." Hallow announces, snapping the angel out of his trance.

"What!? Oh! Hello sweetie!" He wipes his hands on his apron and skips over to you. "I'm Cupid! Cupid Bloodarrow! Its nice to meet you!"

He smiles and shakes your hand with his small one. "Its nice to meet you too Cupid." You reply feeling at ease from his presence.

"Mommy! Is my sitter here!?" A voice yells from the other room.

Cupid giggles and stands next to the vampire. Only reaching his bottom set of ribs in height.

"Come on down sweetbat. She's here." Hallow replies, a dorky smile on his face.

Suddenly a small girl walked into the kitchen, on the ceiling she smiled down at you. "Ooh! She's pretty! Hi! I'm Pumpkin!"

Pumpkin tried to flutter down, yet with her wings being far too small she fell, a black and orange bat caught her by the back of her bow with its teeth.

"Be careful my blood orange. Vwe vwouldnt vwant you to hurt your pretty little head." Hallow muttered setting her down.

The bat from before landed beside Cupid, before Hallow took its place.

Pumpkin smiled a fanged smile up at you. Her large bat ears fading to black at the tips with small heart birthmarks. Swirls on her face just like Hallows, only ending in pink hearts. Her small wings were orange and purple, while her eyes were pink with orange pupils.

She wore a dress with a hoopskirt, it being black with hot pink stripes a ribbon tied around her waist. Black tap shoes with pink bows on the straps.

She was a cutie.

"How old are you kiddo?" You asked, bending down to her level.

"One hundred and six!" She giggled at your surprise, but remembering that she's half vampire makes you smile back.

Turning to her parents. "How old are you two?"

Hallow shrugs his shoulders. Twenty six hundred."

Cupid rolls his eyes. "We have the same birthday."

Pumpkin took you by the hand and proceeded to drag you up the stairs. "I wanna show you my room!" She giggles, her ears bouncing as she hops up the stairs.

"Vwe'll be back in a few hours!" Hallow shouted after you.

Hallow turns to Cupid. "You ready to go now?"

Cupid rolls his eyes. "Shush. I told you we didn't need a babysitter! She would have been fine with us!"

"Honeybat. You know the sun is out right?"

"I hate it when you're right."

"And its cute when you're over protective."

"You know I love Pumpkin more than you right?"

"Okay I deserve that." Hallow chuckles.

Pumpkin laid on the floor next to while she colored with her pastel crayons, currently drawing a pink bat.

"So Pumpkin, do you have any siblings?" You ask her, just watching her draw.

"No, not yet! But daddy said I might get a sister soon. I don't want to share my stuff though." She says, not looking up from her drawings.

You smile. "Sometimes siblings can be a good thing, you'll always have someone to play with."

The vamp-angel shakes her head. "Yeah, try telling that to my mom. He has three brothers."

You just laugh.

"Okay, so what do we got to eat. Do you want anything specific?" You ask her as she takes a seat on the counter, swinging her legs side to side.

"Do vwe have any candy!?" Her eyes light up. "Daddy usually hides his candy stash under the bed. So mommy doesn't find it."

You shake your head. "You can't eat candy all the time Pumpkin, it'll rot your teeth."

She pouts and crosses her arms. "I have to have a blood pack or else I'll get sick, I don't remember when I took my last one though."

Looking over a pink sticky note you saw a small schedule. It seemed to be in Cupid's hand writing.

It had been almost and hour since her last one, and she was due for another one.

Opening the fridge you find a couple of the packs, you take one out and heat it up in the microwave.

Pumpkin watches as you move around the kitchen, her bat ears perking slightly.

After a few beeps, you hand her the blood pack, it was luke warm as to not burn her little hands.

She takes it from your hands and opens her mouth, her fangs extending to terrifyingly sharp razors to pierce into it.

In a matter of seconds it was empty and she looks up at you. "Why does this always taste like butt?"

You burst out laughing.

You knew you would love to watch over her again.
