This fic shows that Romeo is bi, but he's faithful no matter how touchy and flirty he is. He'd never cheat.

Also.. A male reader? That's new. How many of you are dudes or go by male pronouns? I'm curious.

Your boyfriend was a little different.

For one, he was a monster. An incubus, although he didn't act the way you'd expect. He wasn't sexually turned on constantly, he didn't even want to be touched.

He was sassy, and took charge and didn't hesitate to slap anyone who deserved it. Of course he'd never laid a harmful hand on you.

He was curvy too. Which was weird for a skeleton. Not that you minded, more to love. He had strong legs and thick thighs.

He wore skirts, claiming it was much easier to wear with a tail and with those legs of his than pants. Very rarely he would wear sweatpants, three times the size just for his legs alone.

Overall, Romeo was the sweetest too. Very affectionate and he'd always kiss your face as much as possible before he'd leave for work.

He worked at a nail salon. If you grew out your nails, you'd ask him to do them. Most of his coworkers were women, that would gawk and stare at him longer than they needed to.

It.. Scared you. You hadn't dated before, maybe once way back in middle school. But Romeo was your first real boyfriend since you came out.

You were still shy about your sexuality. But, you adored the horned skeleton. He made you feel loved and accepted, his brothers loved you as well.

Cupid was more surprised at how opposite you were from your boyfriend. He welcomed you with open arms, you've never been hugged that tightly before.

Lockheart was a jerk at first. But Romeo told you he was always like that. But slowly, he warmed up to you. "Don't worry y/n. If anyone gives you trouble, let me know and I'll kick their f*ckin' teeth in."

You smile at the memory. You had finally felt accepted. The Valentine's were like your second family. You knew you could turn to them if you ever needed their help with something.

But, Romeo was your first boyfriend. And of course you had your doubts no matter how perfect things seemed to be between you both.

With how sexy he was.. You were worried girls or guys might try and snatch him away. You didn't want to loose the only good thing you had.

You trusted Romeo. But your insecurities always crawled up your back and whispered doubt in your ear, always making you worry.

So, when Romeo stepped inside your apartment covered in body glitter, and smelling sweetly like a perfume you didn't recognize you felt your heart drop.

"Hey sweet face. I got us some take out! You will not believe the day I had! It was the craziest thing!" The incubus strut passed you, carried fast food bags in his arms.

You sat on the couch with a warm blanket around your body. Your heart felt heavy. "Romeo.. Can we talk?"

"Hmm? Aww someone needs a hug I can tell! Just a second doll. I'll be right with you!" He replies, looking for plates in the cabinets.

After a minute or two, your tall boyfriend walked back into the living room holding two plates in one arm and two drinks in the other.

He set the tacos on the coffee table, setting your drinks down as well, before he squeezed in on the couch next to you, crossing one leg over the other. "What's wrong baby boy?"

"You wouldn't.. Cheat on me would you...?" You winced watching his face. "I trust you its just.. I .."

You didn't expect him to straight out laugh! He laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world.

This was it wasn't it? He was going to laugh in your face and leave.. Wasn't he?

He wiped the purple tears from his face and let out a couple giggles before cupping your face in his hands, being careful of his nails.

"Aww angel face. I'm sorry for laughing, but what got gave you that idea? That's ridiculous. Why would I ever cheat on you?" He asks, magenta eyes locking with yours, making your heart flutter.

"...because all those girls seem to follow you around.. And I've seen the way people look at you and.. They're all more attractive than me.. They could give you all the love you want.. And i-"

"Darling shut up. I don't want all that trash out there in the streets! I chose you honey bunny. No one else! Those girls love to gossip, and they always ask me for fashion tips! And the boys well... They can look but they can't touch. That's for you baby, just for you." Romeo tilts his head, and pecks your cheek.

"Only a dumbass would cheat on you. You're an amazing person, one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. Please don't ever doubt yourself babycakes, I'd never leave you for some random bitch. Its you I want, its you I care for. Its you, I love." Romeo brings you into a tight hug, his tail even wrapped around your waist.

You wrap your arms around his neck, inhaling his sweet cotton candy scent, mixed with peach and vanilla. "I love you too.. But.. Why do you smell different?"

"Oh, I went to my moms. She always hugs me, and she loves to try out new perfumes. As for the glitter, well that's from the story I wanted to tell you!" The demon chuckles, kissing your forehead.

You smile with your cheeks flushed as you shake your head. You couldn't believe you doubted him.. The voices in your head are quiet now. At least your boyfriend knew how to shut them up.

"...and Cupid was trying to chase the poor cat, she jumped up on the counter and spilled the glitter everywhere! Do you have any idea how hard it is to clean glitter? That shit is still there ten years later." Romeo chuckles handing you your plate, pulling his into his lap.

His eyes landed on you again. "Seriously though, don't feel so bad sugar. You know I'll be there for you until you die and that's a promise." Romeo leans over and gives your lips a soft peck.

You've never felt so loved than you did right now. "I know.. Thanks babe."

"No problem honey pot." He winks. "And if you ever need a reminder, I can show you just how powerful these legs of mine are."

You spit your drink out in surprise, your cheeks burning as you tried to recover from your coughing fit. Romeo pat your back. "Sorry gumdrop, I didn't mean to!" He laughs.
