Meeting: The vampire.
Now, I know Hallow isn't exactly a fan girl/boy favorite. But I love my big gay bat boy and he was the second outcast I wrote for four years ago.
Can't believe its been that long what the shit. I can still remember Hallow and Cupid's first fics like it was yesterday.
Funny how I can't remember what I did yesterday, but I can remember that.
Remember Hallow is a gay bean, so reader doesn't have a set gender for this one!

It was another one of those nights, where you were sick of everything. Waking up on the wrong side of the bed, getting drenched in the shitty rain, your phone dying, and ending up almost fired for being late to work!
It seemed the universe didn't like you today for whatever reason. So, you took it upon yourself to just try to relax and buy yourself a few things to make yourself feel better.
Sure money can't buy you happiness, but it sure can when you feel like utter shit from a shit day.
After a rather long day at work, you remembered to grab your umbrella as you walked from shop to shop.
You lived in a small town where everyone knew everyone, but of course the city folks had to add more flare and drama. There were more apartment buildings than you remembered there being this year.
All the businesses were close by, with your home only a few miles away. Only during the winter you drove. Not wanting to get caught in a blizzard.
Anyway, after stopping and getting yourself a box of chocolate, and a few treats for your cat. You decided to stop by the video store. Maybe rent a few movies just to stay up late and watch while feasting on chocolate.
You folded your umbrella, letting it hang on your arm as you removed your scarf off from your face.
The cashier sent you a lazy wave, clearly too bored to even care that you had tracked mud inside.
Not that it mattered, the carpet was old and gross anyway.
It was rare to come across a movie store such as this these days. Everyone had streaming services, hell no one even knew what a DVD was anymore. It was.. Stupid really.
Technology can't fix everything.
Now a days, this video store in particular just sold their movies instead of renting them out to customers. They to would be going out of business in a few months.
After roaming the isle's, you had grabbed a few movies, some of your favorite genre, some of your old favorites. And of course a couple classics along the way.
Then, you walked to the horror section. Now, you weren't exactly a horror fanatic, but you could watch it here and there. As long as it didn't have too much gore, then it was fine.
Even the dumb cheap ones could be entertaining. With their horrible acting and shitty green screen work.
You had bumped into someone, causing them to drop the movies they held onto the flooring.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" You apologize, quickly bending down to grab their fallen films.
"Don't vworry about it. No harm done." The masculine voice says with a light laugh. His heavy Russian accent caught you off guard. Not expecting to hear it.
It was rare for the small town you lived in to get any one from another country to stroll in.
You looked up to see a tall, broad shouldered skeleton monster staring down at you, offering you a boney gloved hand.
You took it, and he quickly picked you up with ease, as if you weighed as much as a sheet of paper. You didn't expect the strength from a skeleton monster.
You've seen monsters before, but never a skeleton one. He was more animated? Almost cartoon-like with his blinking sockets and fanged smile.
The perked bat ears told you that he was far more than just a regular skeleton monster. A hybrid perhaps? You've heard of them on the news before with the more and more monster human relationships.
He was, cute really. With high rounded cheek bones with a smile of pearly white fangs.
His eyes were like candle lights, bright golden yellow eyes glowing in the empty sockets like a candle inside of a pumpkin on Halloween night.
His face had these odd yet cool looking stripes on them. His bat ears were colored like candy corn, he had a single ghost earing on his left ear, with a spider on his right.
He wore a bright orange blouson jacket with a jack o lantern face across from it. A green hood along with it. Under it, he wore a light yellow shirt.
A purple and yellow checkered belt was snug around his waist, keeping up his black torn and bleached jeans. Finally, he wore a pair of yellow converse with mismatched Halloween socks.
You had to lift your head back slightly just to see his face, he was taller than you. Being at least six foot four possibly.
He takes the fallen movie boxes from your outstretched hand, his phalanges cold when they brush against your hand.
He tucks the movies under his arm, resting his free hand in his jacket pocket. "So, vwhat movies are you into?" He asks, pointing to the small stack in your arms.
"Oh! All sorts of things really, my friend recommended an anime to me. I was surprised to see that they even carried it!" You proceeded to tell him about the classics.
He responded well, seeming to be a very good listener. And not just because his bat ears were on the large side. His tall stature was slack, relaxed and trying to seem less intimidating.
He even commented on his own taste of movie genres. Mostly horror, being any dumb vampire movie he could find. Apparently, he and a friend of his loved poking fun at low budget films.
But, he absolutely adored Tim Burton movies. He gushed over them, letting out his inner dork.
His name was Jackson, but everyone called him Hallow.
You liked him. He was really easy to talk to, when did it get dark out? Had you two really been talking that long?
"What time is it?" You suddenly ask him. He tilts his head, looking down at his free hand at his Jack skellington watch.
"Its.. Eight thirty.. Are you expected somewhere? I didn't mean to keep you." He apologizes, his ears folding back slightly.
"Is it really? And no, I'm fine. I was just curious." You send him a reassuring smile. "Has.. Anyone told you that you're really easy to talk to?"
His cheeks flush a light tangerine orange. "Heh.. I've been told I don't talk enough. But, I guess I can go on a tangent when it comes to movies.."
"No, it just means you're passionate. Hard to come by." You wink.
Hallow's cheeks flush an even darker shade of orange as his wings (that you somehow didn't see before-) stretched out slightly.
"Heh.. Thanks. Um.. Look, you've probably gotten asked this before but um.. Would you mind if I took you out to.. That diner that just opened up down the street?"
Your cheeks flush. "..I don't see why not. And, after the day I've had I could really use something good to eat."
The vampire chuckles. "Vwe could all use a little something sweet in our lives, huh? Here's my number.. Text me, and I'll pick you up tomorrow."
You take the slip of paper and smile down at it before putting it into your coat pocket. "I'm looking forward to it."
He sends you a bashful wave before turning on his heel to walk to the cashier.
"Hey Hallow I forgot to ask, the Halloween fashion?" You trail off, pointing to his outfit. You liked it, you really did, but you were curious.
He looks over his shoulder at you with a slight smirk. "Halloween isn't just a holiday, its a lifestyle." He replies. Then turns to the cashier.
"Put it on Asher's credit card. He's a cop, he can afford it." Hallow says with a wink to the cashier.
You let out a light laugh at this, before continuing on with your browsing. Your mind filled with thoughts of what might happen tomorrow with you, and the black and orange clad bat boy.
End..! I hope you enjoyed!
Next is Asher! I know my fangirls/guys/persons are looking forward to it! Don't worry, you'll see your pretty wolf boy soon!
(Coby is still a.. Difficult character right now, he'll pop up from time to time! He's not completely gone!)
