I'm bad at titles. Anyway this wasn't a request but I figured you'd want to see more of these boys.

Flashes of lightning flickered in the windows, your temples ached feeling like the rumbling thunder from outside.

You couldn't remember much.. All you got was glimpses of the heavy rain, mud, rocks and sharp branches and pain.

You held the side of your head, blurry eyes trying to look at the room around you. You had no idea where you were. Who knows who could have found you. You just hoped it wasn't an axe murderer.

"Hey, hey, you should lay back. I don't want you to fall and hurt yourself." A soft voice says from the end of the bed you were laying in.

You rubbed your eyes and looked down at the skeleton sitting at the end of your bed. They were covered in flowers? Or were those growing out of his skull?

They wore a purple and pink striped sweater, black leggings and a black tank top under their sweater. Their voice was so soft.. Almost like a lullaby.

You assumed those vines were the cause of their voice being so soft and almost breathless? They looked so tight around their neck...

"Where... Where am I?" You ask, wincing at the dryness of your throat.

The skeleton quickly hands you a bottle of water. "Here, you need your strength. You've been in an accident, you crashed your car into a tree. Luckily I found you when I did. No one comes around these parts." He stands up with his arms behind his back.

You took a big gulp of the water before letting out a pleased sigh. "I crashed my car?"

"Yes. The roads were flooded, and that mountain path isn't the most sturdy during storms as harsh as this one." He admits. "I've called a tow truck. Lucky for you, your air bag was deployed. And you only got a little banged up. I've addressed to the wounds on your face and arms."

You let out a sigh and hold your arms in an effort to comfort yourself. "Thank you.."

"Eden." He finishes for you. "You really need to eat something.. Would you like for me to make you some soup? Monster food has very good healing effects. Or.. I could ask Peach to use their healing magic if you'd like."

"Healing magic?" You look up at him in confusion. Monsters had moved to the surface over a year ago, but most of them were homebodies. Your town only had two or three of them.

He smiles softly. "Yes. Many monsters have a variety of magic, mine is controlling plants." His flowers seemed the glow a light purple to show you what he meant.

"Could I have both?" You ask.

"Sure. Healing magic is warm to the touch and feels like you've gotten the best massage of your life. I'll get started on the soup. I'll see you soon." He sends you a small wave before walking out the door. His gentle footsteps fade down the hall.

You sit up slightly for when you eat. You cross your arms on your chest and take a look around the room.

You seemed to be in a guest room? The walls were a soft lavender color. The floor was polished wood. There was a large white rug under the bed you laid in.

To the left of you was a dresser with a flower vase filled with daffodils and white lillie's. A old fashioned music box set next to it.

The curtains were a soft pink with a floral print, they were closed. On the walls were a few paintings of nature, including a family of deer.

And by the door was a large bookshelf. Filled with books and pictures of people and monsters you've never seen before.

You suddenly heard rapid footsteps coming your way from down the hall. That wouldn't be Eden would it? He didn't seem the type to run like a crazy person.

Before you knew it a petite skeleton and bursted their way into your room. The amount of neon was making you squint from how bright their clothing was.

This skeleton was shorter than Eden, and a little wide in the hips too. They wore a rainbow striped long sleeved shirt with a black crop top with a large smiley face in the dead center of it.

Frayed jean shorts with chains on their hips with glittery star charms hanging from the chains. A pink and green checkered belt hugged their waist snugly.

They had mismatched horns, one pink the other green. Did they put charm bracelets on their horns?

They had a cute little tail with a bright yellow star at the end of it.

"Hi there! Eden said you wanted a dose of healing magic!?" They smile, revealing colorful braces.

You nod your head. "Yeah, I'm just curious how it works?"

"Its really neat! Much better and faster then normal meds. I'll show ya!" They beam, skipping over to you and gently grabbing your arm with their fingerless gloved hands.

The gloves are fingerless. Not their hands.

"I'm Peach by the way! Its so amazing that Eden found ya! I've never met a human before, let alone a cute one like you!" Peach giggles, cheeks flushing a light yellow.

You can just feel the positivity burning off of them. Their giggle was contagious.

You giggle as well. "Thanks.. You're sweet."

"Really? I've been told I'm sour! Any who.. Let me get started! You'll feel better in no time!" Peach gently strokes your wrist and elbow with their long phalanges that seemed to glow a light green.

"Hold still and take a deep breath!" Peach hums to their self and not long after, your arm feels warm and it has a slight buzzing sensation. It felt odd.. But nice. Really nice.

You can feel the warmth from your arm to your soul and all the way down to your toes. When they pulled their hands away, it didn't feel like you had gotten in a car crash anymore. It fell like you just exercised a bunch with no break. But it was beginning to numb now.

Peach rested their hands on their hips, smiling down at you. "Feel better?"

"Much." You yawn as the warmth takes over you.

"I thought so! I'm the best!" They giggle and ruffle your hair. "Ooh! Just a sec!" Peach quickly zips open the fanny pack on the side and pulls out a sheet of stickers?

"Here ya go for being such a good sport and holding still for me!" They remove one of the stickers and place a large donut sticker on your chest. "There ya go!" Their tail wagged happily.

Eden walks onto the room with a gentle smile on their face. "I see that you two are getting along. I've finished making your soup, please be careful its hot." The taller skeleton sets the small bowl on the inn table next to you. "And I've gotten you another water."

You thanked him and decided to let it stay on the inn table for now so it could cool.

You jumped hearing a door slam shut. "What was that?"

"Oh. It seems Hugo is back from his errands. Um.. I should warn you.. He is.. He's.. He isn't ..." Eden seemed to be at a loss for words.

"He's nuts." Peach says for him. "He's not a fun as us! He has the tendency to kill people." The colorful skeleton shrugs their shoulders.

Your eyes widen in fear. "What? How could you have someone like that living with you?"

"We wouldn't. He just.. Shows up and makes himself at home.. We're too afraid to ask him to leave." Eden shivers, yellow eye shrinking slightly.

"I'm not! I think he's cool!"

"He carries axes!" Eden argues.

"Yeah! That's awesome! Axes are like, so heavy!" Peach's eyes sparkle in joy. "And he's got a really pretty horse!"

"That he uses to chase his victims!"

Peach shakes his head. "I admire that man!"

"...You have serious issues.." Eden sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose.

You shrink in on yourself when you hear heavy footsteps coming down the hall.

A very tall bulky skeleton with broad shoulders ducks under the doorway was to not hit his skull on the doorframe. "Heya losers. What are you doin' in here?" His voice was much louder and slightly deranged than the other two skeletons.

He wore a bright red circus ringleader's coat with black and white striped pants. A matching too hat, and black leather knee high boots with a sharp looking heel.

A maroon vest under the coat with a red and blue bowtie with a star in the center of it. His right eyelight swirled like the lights you'd see in a fun house. His left eye was a bit twitchy with a large star painted over it.

Was.. That lipstick or blood?

His eyes landed on you, and he grins with those shark like teeth that looked like he could tear into your throat with one bite. "...ooh! Who's our guest? Will they be joining us for dinner?" He tilts his head.

Eden quickly stands up, a protective glare in his eye. "Hugo, this is um.."

"Y/n.." You meekly say your name.

"Y/n. Thank you, lovely name. This is y/n our guest and I prevent you from putting a harmful hand on them." Eden warns with crossed arms.

Eden only gets shoved to the side as the towering skeleton steps closer to you, his grin seemed to widen. "I've heard laughter is the best medicine.. That and surgery.. Which do ya want?"

Peach beams at the circus skeleton. "Ooh! Laughter! Your jokes are the best!" They cutely clap their hands.

You felt cold sweat forming on your forehead as you locked eyes with him.

"Okie dokie lokie! What's got four legs and one arm?" Hugo asks, lifting a brow at you.

"...ooh! A school desk?" Peach smiles.

"Nope. A Doberman in a playground." Hugo cackles, making your eyes widen.

"That's.. Morbid."

"That's the point party pooper." Hugo frowns, wagging a finger at you. "I've got another one... Never break anyone's heart, they only have one. Break their bones instead, they've got 206 of them!"

You shiver at his tone. And at the glint he had in his eye.. It wasn't anything you could place.. But you knew it wasn't good.

Hugo leaned across the bed and rested a hand on your shoulder, he towered over you with his large form. "...look, I get it buddy, my sense of humor ain't for everyone and I get that. But.. It may just kill ya if ya don't laugh." He grits his teeth.

"Hehehe.." You let out a weak giggle, fearing for your life.

"There ya go! I'm sure you're feelin' better already!" He gives you a playful punch but he had hit harder than anyone else would.

Eden grabs him by the arm. "Are you done?"

"Yeah! I'll see ya losers later! I'm gonna go pick me up something to eat!" Hugo chuckles, twirling on his heel to walk out the door.

But before he does.. "Oh and Eden? Touch me again and I'll rip your arms off. Nice meetin' ya
Y/n! See ya soon!" He waves disappearing into the hallway. 

Eden let's out a deep breath he had been holding. "I'm so sorry y/n.. He's a.. Weird shit and we don't get him. I'll leave you to eat.. Come on Peach."

Peach nods their head and quickly peck your forehead. "Kisses make everything better! Enjoy your soup y/n! Get some rest!" The colorful skeleton skips out the door as Eden shuts it behind them.

You shiver.

You knew you shouldn't have left the house today.
