Nepeta was worried about her friend. She knew that Eridan didn't like landwellers, but he had a type of tolerance for Nepeta. Nepeta had a flush crush on Eridan and was going to tell him today.

But he wouldn't answer. Nepeta decided to go over to Eridan's hive and tell him in "purrson".

Nepeta walked into Eridan's hive holding purple and green flowers. She walked inside and looked for Eridan. She found him crying in the corner of his room, crying. She noticed that his wrists were bleeding. She dropped the flowers and ran over to him. She couldn't say anything because Nepeta is autistic. But she wrote down on her drawing tablet. " Eridan! What happened?!" She wrote frantically trying to comfort the seadweller. "It wwas Fef. S-she said she didn't wwant to be moirails anymore." He said while sobbing. Nepeta gave him a hug. "Eridan, you don't need a sparkling purrink furrish that won't appreciate mew!" She said while hugging Eridan. Eridan sniffed and looked down at her. "But nobody else lovves me..." He said bitterly. Nepeta hesitated, but shakily wrote down "Eridan, I'm red for you." She smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear. Eridan didn't seem shocked, but he seemed a bit surprised. (My cannon Eridan is confident and thinks that everyone loves him.) He hugged Nepeta, covering her in purple blood. He, he loves me... Nepeta thought happily. She didn't realize that Eridan was going to end it here. He cut deep enough to puncture a vein. He would die.
