[S]Jeffew: have a realization
I put on my "Fun." radio station on Pandora and then that song "Little Talks" by "Of Monsters and Men" and then I realized...
This song could be about Russia and Belarus.
Think about it.
My headcannon is that Russia loves Belarus, but in a brotherly way. Belarus loves Russia in a yeah "I want to marry him" way.
So when Belarus and Ukraine were first introduced, Russia said that when the Soviet Union broke up, only himself and Belarus remained in the house.
So the lyrics are (I will put who sings what)
Russia: I don't like walking around this old and empty house.
Belarus: So hold my hand I'll with you my dear.
Russia: the stairs creak as I sleep, it's keeping me awake.
Belarus: it's the house telling you to close your eyes.
Russia: some days I can't even, dress myself
Belarus: it's killing me to see you this way.
Both: 'Cause though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore.
Belarus: there's an old voice in my head that's holding me back
Russia: well tell her that I miss our little talks
Belarus: Soon it will be over and buried with our past
Russia: We used to play outside when we were young, and full of life and full of love
Belarus: Some days I don't know if I am wrong or right
Russia: Your mind is playing tricks on you my dear.
Both: 'Cause though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our bodies safe to shore
Both: Don't listen to a word I say
Both: The screams all sound the same.
Both: though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore
Both: You're gone, gone, gone, away, I watched you dissappear.
Russia: all that's left is a ghost of you
Belarus: now we're torn, torn, torn, apart
Russia: there's nothing we can do.
Russia: Just let me go, we'll meet again soon.
Belarus: now wait, wait, wait for me, please hang around
Russia: I'll see you when I fall asleep.
Both: Don't listen to a word I say
Both: The screams all sound the same.
Both: Though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore.
Russia: Don't listen to a word I say
Belarus: The screams all sound the same.
Both: Though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our bodies safe to shore.
Russia: Though the truth may vary this ship, will carry our, bodies safe to shore.
Belarus: Though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore.
Is this not right? I mean, just for some reason, I can imagine them singing this song and then Ukraine is saying the "Hey!"s in the background. Idk bro, Idk.
