PART ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY SEVEN

3.

In her unconscious state Harmony dreams, if she were to remember this dream when she wakes then she cannot or could not consider this dream as being something of a surfacing memory, even one that might have been locked away with good reason for this dream is so ridiculous that it could not possibly be a memory, but what if it is?

She is younger in this dream than how she currently is, back in her teenage years in fact and she is arriving to a school she did actually go to. In the yard of this school there is a most peculiar looking girl of similar age to teenage Harmony and this other girl, with odd yet beautiful features is staring right at Harmony. Does this girl know Harmony? Is Harmony supposed to know this girl? Are they meant to know one another within the dream or memory, if it is a memory? Harmony cannot be sure.

Just inside the main entrance of the school and there she is again, surely not the same girl, but it is. She had not passed Harmony along the way so how did she get inside before her? This is only a dream, and anything can happen in a dream though Harmony does not know she is dreaming. When we dream, do any of us know we are dreaming while the dream is happening?

On down the hall and this odd girl is seen for a third time and then a fourth. On then into a classroom goes Harmony and the only available seat is next to yet another incarnation of this most peculiar girl. Freaked is not the word for what Harmony may feel, still this is just a dream, a dream she is about to wake from. Eyes open, a blurred vision needs a moment or two to clear.

'Oh, thank God you're awake ...' speaks Terrence.

It takes Harmony that moment or two to get her bearings. She is at home and laying on the living room couch and not sitting in a classroom as a teenage girl though that dream quickly fades to the point where she will not be able to remember it. Ever so briefly she was both there and here, in class as a teenager and at home in her living room in her early thirties.

'How are you feeling Harmony? Please tell me you are alright ...'

'Stop fussing, will ya?' she says giving one of his hands a gentle smack with one of her own as if to say stop treating me like a child. Then she sees how he is reacting. It is as if he is about to cry, possibly even go on to have some kind of breakdown. 'Never mind me, what's wrong with you?'

'You scared me half to death and I didn't know what to do.'

'How do ya mean?'

'Harmony, do you not remember? You just got up and went out in what you are wearing now, no clothes, nothing, just your dressing gown and a towel, and drove off in my car ...'

'You what?'

'I found you collapsed on the ground next to my car, which was still running by the way, in a car park down by the shopping district.'

'You're scaring me; you're messing right? ... None of that makes any sense ...'

'You are telling me; imagine how I feel. I wanted to call for an ambulance but what could I tell them? That you went temporarily insane or zoned out or something?'

'Terrence, I don't know what to tell you, I have no memory of any of what you say ...'

'Harmony, we need to get you looked at, like properly looked at. If you blacked out like this the day of the crash, then you most certainly could have been killed. How you were the following morning as well as what has only just happened ...'

'I didn't blackout in the run up to the accident, alright? I might have after I had been hit ...'

'Still ... there is something wrong ... surly you must know this ...'

The living room lighting flickers momentarily as if some sort of power drain is occurring and as this happens Harmony has an ever sop brief flash back.

'That girl I spoke to at the hospital ...' she says.

'Yeah?'

'I still don't remember that incident, but I did see the hospital security footage, so I know what she looks like ... she ... she was there earlier ...'

'There where?'

'At the car park, I'm sure of it ...'

'I thought you don't ...'

'... don't remember, I don't ... still I know she was there ...'

If that is true, which it is, then what are Harmony and Terrence to do now? How are they supposed to move on from this strangeness? It may be safe to say too that whatever strangeness is occurring, it most likely not done with them yet or more precisely not done with Harmony.

4.

On a darken back road that leads to who knows where, he walks oblivious to everything. He is oblivious to where this road leads, he is oblivious as to why he is walking upon it, he is oblivious to the fact that he does not need a light source to see a way forward as he himself is emanating light, and he is oblivious to the fact that all this right now is not normality in any way.

He is oblivious to the fact that he cannot remember, he is oblivious to who he is or how he came to be on this road. He is oblivious to absolutely everything apart from the basics. He can speak and for the time being will be oblivious to the fact that he can speak multiple languages including one or two that are no longer in use.

A vehicle soon approaches and almost hits him, the driver caught off guard by two things, one that there is someone out her so late and all alone and two the fact that this person is indeed emanating light.

The vehicle driver having brought his vehicle to a screeching halt makes an exit and begins to approach the stranger only soon the person emanating light will no longer be a stranger as something takes a hold of that vehicle driver, someone takes him over, someone takes possession of his body.

'Excuse me ...?'

Driver person or he who was formerly driver person moves alongside he who he called Gabriel, grabs a hold of him and begins to direct him towards the vehicle. 'Come with me ... we have much to discuss.'

'Do we know one another?'

'Yes Gabriel, we do ...'

'And my name is Gabriel?'

'Yes, and as it would seem, you're fall is close to completion ...'

'Fall? I don't recall falling.'

'I'd imagine that there are a good many things that you do not recall but don't worry about that just now, just come with me an all will be alright.'

'And who are you? Forgive me for not being able to remember.'

'That is alright Gabriel, everything will be alright ... my name is Michael.'

'Michael, I once knew a Michael ...'

'See ... I told you everything will be alright. You just need a little time, that's all.'
